Al Nassr 0 - 0 Abha

well, this is a very important game for Al Nassr, they lost in their last game and their opponent in the race for the title is 3 points above them, so Al Nassr needs to win in this game to be able to keep the same points that Al - lttihad, the coach of Al Nassr is playing with two forwards: cristiano ronaldo and Talisca, and if they lose and cristiano ronaldo doesn't score he will be the subject of jokes everywhere, if they win and cristiano ronaldo doesn't score a goal he will be the subject of jokes, if they lose and cristiano ronaldo scores the team and he will be the subject of jokes. so the only situation where ronaldo won't be a joke at the end of this game will be if they win and ronaldo scores a goal

Unfortunately I didn't follow this match, but later I'll see some highlights.

Despite the victory over Abha, Al Nassr will need to win the next games and maybe have consistency in the matches to return to the first place in the ranking, because unfortunately Al Nassr is in second place in the championship

The league title race is going to be a tough one considering the league is shorter than most leagues. It is just 30 games which we are not really that used to in Europe of course, because most leagues have more games, even Bundesliga which has the least teams I can remember has 18, so that is 34 games, and 4 games equals to 12 points chance.

In the end, Ittihad is not leading by that much, so it shouldn't really be tough for Nasr to pass them with just one game, but they need to be careful not to lose any games along the way before they pass. As much as Nasr has a chance to pass, Ittihad has a chance to make the point difference bigger as well.

The match between Al-Fateh vs Al-Ittihad is coming to an end and the temporary score is 1-3 in favor of Al-Ittihad. Here it is very clear that Al-Ittihad will win this match and with the addition of 3 points this will increase their distance from Al-Nassr to 4 points in the standings. But after this there will be another match in the SPL between Al-Nassr vs Abha, I think Al-Nassr always wins against Abha and in their previous match in the King's Cup competition Al-Nassr beat Abha with a score of 3-1. It's just that Ronaldo hasn't scored again in recent weeks and I think in this game later he will score goals or at least contribute assists to other Al-Nassr players.

The final result was won by Al Ittihad with a landslide score of 1-5. although the home team dominated the game, with 68% possession. unfortunately, Al Fatteh didn't have many chances. the open play pattern played by the home team made it easy for Al Ittihad to break into the home team's goal. which in the end, Al Ittihad still occupy the top of the standings.

On the other hand, Al Nassr remained tight on points from the top of the standings by winning the match over Abha. With this win, the difference in points between the two teams is not too far apart. however, there are still 9 games remaining until the end of this season. Al Nassr still has the opportunity to shift the top standings. Meanwhile, Al Ittihad's position is not safe because Al Nassr is only one point away.

Meaning, Al Ittihad must consistently win the remaining matches until the end of this season. however, actually the biggest problem for them is against Al Shabab. most likely, Al Shabab can become a stumbling block for Al Ittihad to stay on the winning path.plus, one of the most crucial match. Al Ittihad still has one of the toughest matches left, namely against Al Hilal. as well as Al Nassr, the two teams will meet at home to Al Hilal. I suspect both teams will slip in the remaining few matches. in particular, against Al Hilal. So, the most consistent team has the right to win the Saudi Pro League trophy this season.

Abha scored first in the 27th minute even they dominate in attack 4 shots on target whereas Al Nasr is only 1 on target, obviously this will be a burden for Al Nasr
But I don't need to worry because Al Nasr plays 2 mainstay players Ronaldo and Talisca it should not be difficult to score goals especially they have ever done it before scored 3 goals in 5 minutes. I agree with you Al Nasr must win today to catch up with points obviously it is embarrassing if they can't win while playing at home so let's just wait.

The match between Al-Fateh vs Al-Ittihad is coming to an end and the temporary score is 1-3 in favor of Al-Ittihad.

Al Ittihad's players attacked widely and almost saw success in the attack. Al Ittihad scored a goal within seven minutes of the match and Al Fateh scored a goal shortly after when the ball went into the net of Al Ittihad's goal post and leveled the game. From then until half time, Al Fateh could not attack again. After half time, Al Ittihad went on a rampant attack and led the team to the top of the table with a total of 5 goals. Meanwhile, Al Fateh Firas Al-Buraikan are some of the goals that have caused the Alfate team to come to this losing position today.

Al Wehda 1-1 Al Taawoun. Previously Taawoun took the lead in early minutes of the second half but Wehda was able to equal score by Oscar Duarte, this match is quite disappointing for Taawoun considering that currently they are better rather than Wehda in the standings, also Taawoun have many opportunities at there. Unfortunately Taawoun was only able to get one point in this match, it seems Al Wehda performance has been grow up recently they are quite consistent in getting points.
Wow, Al Wehda and Al Taawoun, what a spectacle, am I right? Nobody could've guessed the result! Football, the gift that keeps on giving! Al Taawoun was in control, yet they only secured a lonely point. Is it fair to evaluate a team based solely on their standings? Nope! Football is chock-full of shockers, and as they say, some battles you win, others you lose!

Now, let's peek into what's coming next, alright? The heat's cranking up with these upcoming matches! Al Ittihad and Al Nassr, racing neck and neck for that coveted top position! But how will they handle Al Fateh and Abha? Time's gonna reveal all!

They deserved the win in the end, I agree with you, but luck has to be a bit on your side when you couldn't score a goal for 93 minutes. To then score 3 goals in overtime doesn't happen every day either. I think the 3-1 was a bit too high in the end as it is also questionable why the referee would add so much time even on top of the overtime.

I think it was quite a physical match, the match produced a total of 30+ fouls and 6 yellow cards of which each of those fouls would had cause time wasting which could have justify the referee adding so much time in the game. The additional time wasn't added to only Al Nassr so that's not an excuse as Al Batin could have easily defender their line and counter attack Al Nassr to add to their lead but they couldn't take advantage of the extra time. I think what gave Al Nassr more believe was after their equalizer that went in at the 93rd minutes.

Al Nassr has defeated Al Batin in their previous encounters on numerous occasions and all their games has ended with  hunge goal margin so Al Nassr only needed that equalizing goal to regain themselves and it wasn't like the referee was favoring Ronaldo. I think the only thing he contributed to that game was carrying the ball from the net to build up the team spirit after their equalizer went in.

Sure you are right that it was a physical match, but you don't even see 12 minutes of extra time in a brutal Premier League game. Usually 12 minutes happens when the game had to be stopped for several injuries taking minutes and minutes to get a player off the field and taken care of by a doctor. That wasn't the case so much so I understand the fans who said that it is a bit fishy.

When Al Nassr scored the first goal, I was convinced that now this is going to be bad for Al Batin. When you concede a goal that late it is not unusual that you lose control over the game totally. The third goal didn't even matter anymore in the 104th minute or what it was, but shifts in momentum are quite normal when one team scores the equalizer in extra time. But in total Al Nassr was the better team and I think from that perspective it is ok. It is normal that fans complain when a loss like that happens.

Well, I know that the time for that game seemed too much to everyone, personally it also seemed to me that it was a long time and it is something that only the referees know why they assigned it, however if they gave that time it was so that they would not have allowed themselves to be tied, but Al Nassr was attacking a lot and that resulted in victory, I know that many thought they were in favor of Al Nassr, that impression was given, but I am sure that in Saudi fútbol they do not have need to do something like that, which is considered cheating, honestly their reasons will have, I do not question any of that, because until now I know Saudi fútbol.

Back on topic, Ronaldo's Al Nassr faces Abha tomorrow and hopefully they'll be able to bounce back from thir lost against Al-Ittihad and reclaim their first position on the table. Abha isn't going to be a problem for Al Nassr as they can comfortably defeat them even without the help of Ronaldo but hopefully Ronaldo steals the show tomorrow and get himself another hattrick so he can keep adding to his goals tally. Al-Ittihad who are in second plays Al Fateh tomorrow as well so we should be keeping an eye on that game as to see how Al-Ittihad plays to show if they'll be determined to retain their spot at the top of the table by winning.

Just a correction, Al Ittihad have taken the first rank after defeating Al Nassr in the previous round. Their match looks more difficult than Al Nassr as their competitor, Al Fateh, have been achieving nice results, whereas they won against Al Hilal, and took a point from Al Nassr. In addition, the Spanish striker Cristian Tello is ready to play this match after recovering from an injury. With this in mind, Al Ittihad could find some difficulties in this match. However, there is no way for them to lose points, as Al Nassr strives to restore the lead again.
Surely Al Nassr will be able to win , CR7 is a guy who can be very impulsive at times,but from all this he can stand up for the team, they are not losing a place by much difference, they can recover it and that's it , in everything The team passes,even if they lead, the important thing here is that they can recover.

Now the Al Nassr star is making himself felt:

'I don't look at age!' - Cristiano Ronaldo's international career CONTINUES as Portugal legend named in Roberto Martinez's first squad

Quote
At 38 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal career goes on, after the Al-Nassr star was named in Roberto Martinez's first squad on Friday.

it will be another episode to laugh at if ronaldo doesn't score a goal, it seems to me that ronaldo is not focused on winning the team, he is focused on scoring goals to promote himself, he doesn't settle for seeing that his teammates are inferior scoring goals and he's not scoring, knowing he's playing in a lower league but still he's not managing to score this is going through his head, it doesn't take a genius to deduce that and he's becoming an international joke

until now I keep asking myself whose idea it was to make him play in this league instead of advising him to retire with honor and a good reputation, advanced age is something that even a lot of money cannot reverse the consequences, his speed is not It's the same, but unfortunately he doesn't see it, I predict a less than pleasant end to his reputation.

As the teams keep on playing against different opponents the performance improvement can be seen good with them. However it is quite hard to decide the ability of the team based on the standings. Upcoming matches gonna be very interesting as the top on the standings with one point difference is playing against opponents Al Fateh and Abha. Winning is much concerned for both the team Al Ittihad and Al Nassr as to reach the top on the table.

no one cares about this league and cups of arabia, the focus is on soccer in europe, and that's sad but it's the truth, all players dream of playing in europe, being in the european champions league where the best of the best are playing
~~~~
Dude, I believe that you are still stuck in the 20th century. Arabian leagues are some of the most popular in the world now. Saudi Professional League is now watched across the globe and the signing of Ronaldo by Al Nassr has further increased the popularity of the league. And in the next few years, the situation will change further. Saudi Arabian monarchy has big plans related to sports events and they are trying really hard to win the hosting rights for the 2030 FIFA World Cup. And Ronaldo is just the tip of the iceberg. Don't be surprised if you see star players such as Kylian Mbappé and Neymar representing the SPL sides within the next few years.
- did anyone here follow the saudi arabia league before ronaldo went to play there?
- how many times do people watch full games of this league?
- how many players from this league do people know?
- How many games in this league have people placed bets on?
I ask you:
do you watch the full games of this league?
for example, today they had the following games:
Dhamk 1 - 0 Al Batem
did anyone here watch this game for 90 minutes? who are the famous players of that team? Does anyone know all the players on that team? can you tell me if the game was good or bad? and what part of the game did you like?
about mbappe and messi, let's see: messi and mbappe could earn a lot of money going to saudi arabia, but then i ask you: why don't they move to saudi arabia tomorrow? let me see: they are waiting to get old to go play in saudi arabia, but why is that? try to guess? do you really think that if ronaldo had been invited by a big team he would have gone to that amateur league?
do you really think that this amateur league competes with la liga? bundesliga? ligue 1? premier league? brazil league? portugal league? series A? turkey league? I see many comments from Portuguese and Brazilians laughing at Ronaldo for going to play in this end of the world
A little offtopic, but I'm really interested in this question: do you really think that in the days of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla which dominated Europe and the fact that all the best players in terms of individual performance played in the La League, the Premier League was really better?  Roll Eyes
Probably the only measure the Premier League has been ahead of is commerce, but what does that have to do with sports? In addition, we know how many frauds and dirty schemes were used there.
If we are talking about which league is better, then you can say la liga, or say which league has better teams or which league has a bigger chance etc etc. Whereas when we are talking about which league is watched more? That's also a stat that doesn't lie and people all over the world watch premier league more than they watch any other league.
That's why La Liga could win all the europa and ucl they want, but people will tune in for the premier league weekend games and they won't do the same thing for la liga, well they will, but not as much as EPL. Does that make any sense? Like why is la liga better and premier league watched more? I do not know, it doesn't make sense to me neither but it simply does.
Okay, but I don’t argue that for some parameters (and especially for parameters close to commerce) the Premier League is in first place, but in my opinion, according to the totality of parameters (mainly sports), La Liga dominated at that time.
As for the number of viewers and other media metrics, this is always controversial for me, because you know that the number of audience does not always mean the quality of the content.
premier league has no comparison, in la liga only barcelona and real madrid and atletico madrid have games that attract people, at least in my case i would only watch games of these 3 teams. but in the premier we have: arsenal, tottenham, liverpool, chelsea, manchester united, manchester city, and even the teams that are in the relegation zone have been playing very well. I happen not to regret spending time watching the game of two teams from the relegation zone of the premier league. Of course, La Liga also has good games, but the Premier League is the best.
Hope you know about the charges against Barcelona for bribing referee to enable them win games as they get calls that favors them. These are things that make La Liga not credible to the premier league. All league has their frauds and dirty schemes but what Barcelona has done is more fraudulent then whatever you think the premier league has done. We could see how easily players from the premier league has been ables to dominate La Liga. From Ronaldo to bale, Luka Modrić etc. Lets look at how many goals Ronaldo was able to score at La Liga compared to the premier league. La Liga is less competitive, this all the factors used to placed the premier league as the best league in the world.
~
The Premier League holds the record for dirty money, I don't understand why you bring this up - it's clearly not in favor of the Premier League. As for the accusations against Barcelona, yes, I saw them, unfortunately such European football is - a lot of dirt, but the fact is that this has little to do with sports factors.
Why do you consider the dominance of separate players within the leagues when we have the fact that La Liga dominated all other leagues (including the Premier League) for a long time.
Tomorrow, Al Ittihad will play his match which will visit Prince Abdullah Stadium, Al Fateh's headquarters. in this match, Nuno Santo will maximize his squad to get full points over Al Fateh. considering that the competition on the standings is very tight, Al Ittihad is determined to get full points to widen the points gap from its rival Al Nassr.
1 point difference from Al Nassr, making Al Ittihad's position at the top of the standings not safe. so, the full points in this match are the results they must win to stay at the top of the standings.
Meanwhile, the home team will not let their opponent win this match easily. although on paper, Al Ittihad has a high probability of winning this fight. plus, referring from the H2H history between these two teams' meetings. Al Attihad, always dominates the victory over Al Fateh. even so, at least as the home team, Al Fateh will provide fierce resistance to Al Ittihad. and if Al Ittihad slips in this fight, it will automatically provide an opportunity for Al Nassr to overtake the leaders of the standings. so let's wait, does Al Ittihad continue with its positive trend, or.
I think the fact that all eyes are on him is because of his behaviors in the past. He is a very polarizing character and it is part of his PR strategy. When he scores he wants to be called the greatest of all time and when he doesn't score everything else is to blame except for him.
when the person becomes greedy, the person becomes blind, and what is happening with ronaldo, he could have chosen to reduce his salary and accepted to play in a small team but that was in the main league and was from one of the main leagues like La Liga, Premier League, Ligue1 or Bundesliga. but as cristiando ronaldo always played for big teams in the best leagues and was the best player in those big leagues, he didn't accept relegating himself to playing in a small team, even here it can be something normal for someone who has already reached the top, so what should he do have done was to retire to maintain his good image. the guy is already very rich, what else does he want to prove to the world?
but instead of retiring he went to play in arabia where the quality of soccer is very low and even he plays with people who don't have much talent he can't play well, he can't score many goals, even to score 1 goal It's been difficult, he's gone to ruin, he's going to retire without glory and with his name being the subject of jokes, and that's what's going to happen, all because of greed. he could have stayed at manchester united, even if he was on the bench and entered sometimes he just needs to improve himself that he would have a place in the starting 11, but he went to complain about the team in public, humiliating the team. I believe that all big teams were scared of him after the interview he spoke badly about manchester united
I don't even know what to think about winning the King Cup of Champions. Why is it called that way? I get the King part because Saudi Arabia is reigned by a king, but it is a normal cup where everyone can participate. The Champions League is called that way because the best clubs of every league can participate. Anyway, even when Al Nassr wins it I doubt that that's something Ronaldo will be very proud of.
no one cares about this league and cups of arabia, the focus is on soccer in europe, and that's sad but it's the truth, all players dream of playing in europe, being in the european champions league where the best of the best are playing, see that even good leagues like the brazil leagues where there are good players, the good players in the brazil leagues dream of playing in europe. if we compare the brazil league with that of arabia, it will be the same as comparing a professional player (the one from brazil) against an amateur player (the one from arabia), in europe it is the same thing, the one from brazil is still amateur compared to that of Europe. so ronaldo even earning a lot of money is playing soccer at an amateur level
I mean he is probably not too concerned about what other people think when he has a billion Euros in his bank account, but if he cares about the way he wants to be remembered, going there was very likely not the best choice. I think if he behaved like a team player, he would have gotten his chances at Manchester United as well and maybe he would have even won the Europa League, too.
Regarding the truth that everyone watches European soccer, well there is nothing sad about it. If we want to watch the best baseball in the world, we watch the MLB and for the best basketball we watch the NBA, for the best football we watch the NFL. They are simply the best at that and it is most fun to watch where the best players play. In regards to soccer, Saudi Arabia will never be the best, but as I said before they are now trying to pimp their competitions with money and big names.
