It is really true that scammers are becoming more smarter than before and that's they keep victiming innocent people. The victims have also liability to their selves because they let themselves to be scammed. If the scammers are becoming more smarter then as a investor, we should also be a smart person who can identify the scam projects in the market.
The issue of Scammers is as old as the cryptocurrency industry. Scammers are always devising new tactics to take advantage of their victims. When a tactic becomes too rampant and people are aware, they move to another more complicated tactic. Its best for all to be on the look out and avoid making rash decisions when ones fund or reputation is at stake.
It means they keep on improving their techniques on deceiving people every time they find a way to get rid of them and for them anything is possible when it comes to money so what can we expect? they keep on getting better and wiser while some of us are keep on falling into their tricks, it should be the reason why we should be more cautious and attentive particularly these days. We can't easily trust people because we don't know their true intentions and they probably looking out for something that they can use against us. I agree with you that when it comes to decision making we have to consider a lot of things before making choices like the possible result of it so we won't end up feeling remorse about anything. 
Scammers don't have to give huge promises anymore, believe me they are among us and they know how smart investors have become too, they always reshape their tactics, now projects don't have to give too good offers because they know people are aware that too good to be real offers are scam, honestly scammers are not idiots

Not just smart some of them even graduated in a prestige school and now using their knowledge into something like this, thr crypto space is now flagged with lots of hoax and scamming activity. I wonder why some people never get tired of being scammed by those smart guys. If a project is focusing on sales and promising a lot, then it could be a scam one. Trust the one with product and dont bother about sales but talk about development.
if they are not smart, they are not scammers, but that does not mean smart people are scammers, usually scammers have a solid team to promote their projects out, sometimes they dare to pay a large enough cost to catch more investors, like inviting famous people in crypto or make a poster photo meeting with important people in crypto which even though it just happened to ask for a photo, this often happens and it looks funny, they know the weaknesses of people in the crypto world that is giving them dreams of getting rich quick, because honestly I have the principle that we will never be rich without working hard, unfortunately those who are stuck on scam projects do not have this principle, so they are always tempted to get rich quick, weak people like this who are easily fooled
I don't know why they became scammer. But I've seen a lot of good and smart projects that have become scammer, maybe because they're lazy with development work or they are greedy. Nowadays we should not focus on new projects because there are so many scammer, we can hardly distinguish them. Even the new IEO projects at Okex have become a scammer, the largest exchange in this marketAll the scammers believe that they are cleverer than anything.

Mostly they are. They could trick you with their different schemes and strategies, no wonder most of investors and bounty hunters are getting fooled by these scammers lol They get fooled by the experts Just look at those poor people at bounty sections, they don't really care with scammers as long as it gives something for now.
I also agreed that scammers are very wise and clever in addition they also studied the crypto environment very well they might had tabled the pros and cons before they unleashed their fraudulent activity, in fact some of them are right here on this thread trying to pick one or two ideas judging by the reactions of investors just to improve on their scamming activities.

The scammers everywhere include in the crypto world. They can hide the truth of themselves because they want to take other people's money in many ways. They can find many ways to get the money even they will give big promises to their target person while they still tell that their promise will happen soon. We need always to be careful, and we need to search for the other information so we can prevent them from scamming us, and we can also protect our money from them. They can change their personalities to other people because they can get the details, and they can do that with ease.

luckily most scammers are not wise enough that leads to being caught out easily . only fewer one's are passionate to thier craft which is scamming that they plan everything smoothly that thier target wont notice a single shady move until they got finally scammed at the end of the transactions . scammers are smart , that is why we need to outsmart them so that we can prevent getting scammed . always read latest updates if what are the latest technique used by scammers so that you know .

yes you are right op the scammers are smarter than we are right now they don't promise big token payments but they can make the project look good and convincing. so many prize hunters and investors are interested and join the project. but in reality the project was also a scam project.

Scammers are always smarter than investors. the desire of investors is to make quick profits. so scammers make projects like that. make tokens and pump and dumo quickly. no matter how many investors get stuck. as long as the scammer gets a profit. then the project will be left after the pump and dump have been carried out. ICO was successful first, then the team disappeared. now ICO is not successful but can be released on the market. then the price is destroyed and lost. so basically scammers will keep trapping with their crazy stories and ideas.

They're getting smarter each passing days, not only investors. They regurally changes their strategies in case if the old ones doesn't work anymore.

At this time, even reputable persons could be deceived by how much money could be stolen in the market if there is no laws and regulation that will prohibit them to do so. In my opinion, reputation should also be guided because anytime soon, if we are having the best opportunity to handle huge amount of money, no matter how reputable we are online, us being anonymous might still deceive us to commit frauds. I am not saying I am one of them, my only point is for us to have some regulation as well as to develop a punishment to someone that could commit frauds with regards to handling cryptocurrency.
