Thanks you for the donations yesterday on slack (litebit, allien), I'm still little bit short for my bills this month. So far i raised [0.14726448/1.1BTC] and [200 SDC] my BTC: 1o4nzUUXTDEGXCtEJomoyM1irn8Uxfg1D and SDC: SbMvzNDrYJLWTYMMBeozZWfiv9QPUjGSWm

I finished this month:

  • Market (overview page with thumbnail listing/tables view, listings page, add item in shopping basket, user/id profile page for market)
  • Restyled almost all sections in the wallet
  • Made better key management section (more logic)
  • Better send page (split in send payment/balance transfer)
  • More user-friendly/helpers (?) in all sections
  • Tweaks / bug-fixes and more..

I'm now very close with GUIv2, still on my to-do-list, 2 sections on market + tweaks, shadowchat tweaks, key management tweaks, modals, bugs and minor tweaks + code clean-up.

Screenshot of SDC latest send section:

I'll keep you all posted,

-crz

Just an observation - the 'News' section in the wallet. Isn't that an attack vector?

If the client / node is looking up news updates, how is it doing it and wouldn't you get into the situation where the news source could be used against users?

Do you know how it and the alert system works?

Avatars are overrated.

Zcash vs. CT vs ringCT

I'm predicting the anon txn protocol will be updated to one of these eventually.

Adding Zcash would wipe out open bazaar

You mean adding Zcash as a payment option for the ShadowMarket?

Yes. SDC adopting zcash would make it very competitive.

except with a fat ico type scam.

Its a great protocol, and i believe its worth considering one day, possibly. However, i don't believe the parameter setup is secure yet.
I do know of them presenting research on a distributed computation. But i don't believe the zcash parameter setup is secure.

Looks strange... Which is the official explorer?

The official block explorer is inside the ShadowCore Wallet.
All others are hosted/run by various community members. Why don't you go ahead and run one if you want further redundancy.
Let me know once it is online so we can share the url Wink

code: The hosting was being moved but the delivery truck crashed and ended up freefalling down a cliff, shattering the servers into thousands of pieces now spread across the globe, okay maybe not that big of a crash, but they ended up getting damaged for real, thus it may be offline for a few more days or even weeks. There is working explorer in the wallet that you can use.

You mean they won't be repaired?

Still no working explorer. Could it be website hosting issue?

code: No problem LuxMoneroj Smiley Some of us may come across as a bit hostile, but you've been very polite about your concerns. They will be addressed as soon as possible, in the mean time anyone who feels like going through the commits to update the timeline of 2015 is free to do so. There is an edit button that leads to github, where you can modify and request a pull.

code: There are different githubs to prevent people from installing unfinished work. When a feature is tested and bugs are removed, the official github gets a pull. This is why you won't see much activity.
