I haven't invested to both as of now but i can see SDC is much cheaper than XMR as for now. IT does seem to go up as I'm writing.  I might just put some of my coin for SDC but how is SDC better than XMR?  I have to see how it can be better.  Grin

The difference is that Monero have implemented it on the cryptonote codebase and Shadow have done it on the bitcoin codebase.

Lets be clear, Monero did not implement Ring Sigs on the Cryptonote codebase ... Monero is a fork which included quite alot of the tech they so proudly try and boost about. Difference is Shadow implemented Ring Sigs into the Bitcoin codebase amongst other tech.

Ah yeah thats right Monero didn't implement ring sigs.

This should give people an idea of the caliber of the devs here.  Shadow were the first to put ring sigs on the bitcoin codebase and Monero cant even make a proper wallet yet.

A substantial amount of development work has gone into Shadow which makes it vastly unique and superior to other bitcoin codebase forks.

Shadow and Monero are very similar as in they both use ring signatures to secure transactions.

The difference is that Monero have implemented it on the cryptonote codebase and Shadow have done it on the bitcoin codebase.

Being built on the bitcoin codebase gives shadow many development advantages IMO

I don't understand how Monero holders haven't switched to Shadowcash yet. This is a pretty big deal. I'm so glad I bought in last week.

Monero has potential to gain traction in the darknet, so I believe the pump justified. With that said, there was absolutely no reason for SDC's low market cap considering the history, the tech, the scarcity, and the project's potential. This coin's finally getting the attention it deserves. Therefore, I believe a rise into the 10s of USD is justified.

Well, so does SDC. SDC does indeed have potential to be the medium of exchange in deep web too with its privacy which was praised by smooth a year ago If I remember correctly. SDC marketcap is still a joke and it has lots of room to grow. Just watch. The big players aren't in yet.

Does anyone else have problem withdrawing SDC from bittrex ?? mines still not receiving after 12 hours,  submitted support ticket with them and still no response

I have a Bittrex account, but haven't tried to withdraw anything lately. I did hear they had some issue with SDC wallets being under maintenance.
Last time I heard that was just before Cryptsy announced they had been supposedly hacked. Hope you get this resolved.

That's strange.. because on their status page it shows wallet is uptodate https://bittrex.com/status

Approximately how many SDC coins would one need for staking to become part of the mining process?

Theoretically even 1 coin is enough to start staking. However with the current weight of the network it would take you 3 years to hit a block.

Refer to the below post for more information. In short, you need to have more in order to find a block:

 DO NOT POST SESC LINKS

which is the average stacking every day with 1000 coin?

What about Pools. Where can I start mining as Shadow Cash is based on scrypt algorithm. Can get good amounts of coins by mining. But where to start.

Anyone mining Shadow Cash coins.

Kiindly help to get pool url and more information about mining of Shadow Cash

Its POS only now.  You need to buy on an exchange and stake if you want to "mine".

Have been investing in Shadow for over two years and am extremely happy with the amount of effort put into it.

There was an issue that seemed insurmountable about a year back when the de-anonymization exploit was discovered.  The team came together and overcame it even with massive amounts of FUD being blasted at them.  This says A LOT about the dedication and gumption behind Shadow.  Have seen many many coins come and go, this one has survived - there is a reason for that.

You'll see FUD posted in this thread frequently.  Make no mistake, this is predominately the work of monero fan boys.  Anonymous currencies are very promising but it is a zero sum game - the competition has and will come in here and try to knock this project down with falsehood.  It is what it is - FUD, Shadow is for real.
