I've not been able to find answers to these questions so apologies if they have been asked before.

1. If all the outputs of a transaction are zero knowledge how does the network or miner know what the fees will be?

2. Is there any way a shadowcash user can provide the ability for a third party to see their anonymous account activity, e.g. like a Monero "view key", without exposing their private key?

3. Is there any way to enforce instant transactions on the network like Dash? Or does shadow cash rely on the normal method of confirmations until statistical certainty on non-reversibility (due to chain reorganisation) reaches a certain threshold.

4. Why did the blockchain switch from PoW to PoS? Was this to seed an initial distribution of coins?

5. Where can I read up on the specific type of PoW used?

6. Where can I read up on the decentralised market protocol?

This is a scam project being run by a few people somewhere in Europe.

They are now trying to capitalize on this massive XMR volume. Expect to hear more about a release "coming soon" - will never come. Even if it does come - this tech is useless. Vendors dont want anything to do with this project.

Yep just dump some of my monero and move the rest here in SDC. I guess we'll see how things are going to be in the future since most of us are giving importance to privacy and not being traced as well. Not that i'm into illegal stuff but yeah mostly of my trades are driven by the sheer objective of having more profit at the same time.

Well at least privacy is a Constitutional right here is the USA. The government keeps stripping our rights and selling them back to us. I also abide by the law, but they seem to be choosing which ones to enforce.
If you are an illegal alien you get a pass. What if 20 million people decided not to pay taxes? Would they say there are too many violators to enforce the law?
Fiat currency is the choice of criminals, so I don't buy the argument that crypto is any different than anything else you can barter with...

SDC is the coin of the year!

1 SDC will soon reach $10!

The same thing happened with Darkcoin in the early days....it eventually hit 17 or 18$ actually.

So yeah, I'd say the FOMO is really strong right now, and regardless of a dump, by winter it will hit double digits.

SDC won't be a flash in the pan like most of these others. We are in consolidation mode now, and expect we will see a gap up to at least 400k soon.
Should see a lot of people selling off XMR and ETH jumping into the superior tech of SDC.  Grin

And I'm not just saying that, I know a number of people doing exactly this...

Well I was expect that dump. There were gaps between buy books and eventually whales would shake the weak hands. I got some great dips, increasing my shadowcash. Some sent to staking as always.

For 3 days now, there are huge dumps pressured by whales and than huge jumps. First to 1xx, than to 2xx and today 3xx. I think you see the pattern.

Nothing ever goes straight up without a few consolidations. Also nothing wrong with making some extra coins along the way. I called the top a few times myself. I Just bought more SDC on the last dip, and I'm up 20% already. I expect we will soon see a bottom of at least double the current price.

any comments for this?

"Almost all of the supply was mined in the first 2 weeks (6.40 million out of 6.57 million). See "Proof of Work" right under Downloads: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/sdc-shadowcash-welcome-to-the-umbra-745352
A Monero dev deanonymized their entire chain. They had to get help fixing it. These guys are NOT cryptographers by any standard. https://github.com/shadowproject/shadow/issues/25"

As stated above, the two mine period was setup that way from the start and it worked the way it was suppose to.

A monero dev found a bug, SDC fixed fast.... monero made SDC stronger. Thank you monero. I know its not the outcome you guys wanted but dont be butthurt.

It was supposed to be mined in the first two weeks as it's designed to be a PoS coin. Mere 2 week PoW was to distrubute the coin, rather with freaking fucking ICO.

Monero dev found a bug and it is solved. That's all.

Forgive me for being such a noob to this coin. i know it exist long enough in crypto but never have been interest to find out what the coin is made of until now that it got a lot of attention due to its rise. SDC in Bittrex market has gone up for more than 100%.  Mind if you guys can tell us what Ring Sigs is and what is it for?
