I just started mining on this pool and have already solved 4 blocks, 1 to an old legacy address and 3 to one of the new segwit addresses starting with M. I haven't received any payouts though and the blocks aren't showing up on the pool or the blockchain. I've checked to see if they were orphaned and I can't find that either. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Provide the block #s when you can. I can tell you if you mined at TBDice using an M address, the entire block reward went to the pool, however, it should still show on the block history page. The last M address that mined an LTC block was 2 weeks ago according to the history.

Unfortunately I can't find the block #'s since they're not showing up anywhere. My miner tells me the blocks have been found but it doesn't display which ones. I'm using an L3+.

the found blocks on bitmains fork of cgminer is mostly broken and cant be relied on.

just one l3+ is not going to find 4 LTC blocks, unless you been running it for a couple years.. i think the calculated time to find a block is 500 days or so. it might find a dogecoin block tho.. you should check for that.

Just to clarify, you mean that bitmain's cgminer is still capable of finding blocks but just doesn't display that info correctly? Or is the L3+ less reliable at mining in general?

Sounds like you might be looking at bad shares, not solutions. One L3 miner is not going to find 4 blocks... If you're mining on TBDice, only use a Legacy LTC address.

how do you know you solved blocks? what told you. if the blocks arent showing up on the pool or blockchain..
also, stop mining here with the M address, you probably wont get paid if you do find a block with it..

I'm using an L3+, the miner is telling me the blocks have been found but they're not turning up anywhere else.

I was mining here however since the end of the thread looks bleak for the site, I stopped..  WHo knows, maybe they are "stealing" rewards???

nobody is stealing rewards. if you mine with a legit address that starts with a L the reward is auto paid to you.
the issue is the M address are not legit and are ignored but nothing tells you about it on the main site.

It's helpful if you know what you're talking about before making silly statements. Addresses that start with an L are known as Legacy addresses. Addresses that start with M are *not* illegitimate or wrong... as a matter of fact, plenty of blocks are mined directly to M addresses all the time.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ltc/block.dws?1573684.htm

There's a block showing you that there's nothing illegitimate with "M" addresses. Those addresses exist because Litecoin created them with an upgrade to keep from overlapping with BTC when their addresses were similar.

The reason it appears to be "theft" (not my words by the way) is that the pool operator has known about this and has done ***zero*** to inform his miners. When the block is mined and swallowed up by the pool and there was no prior indication that this would happen, it feels like you've been robbed. I know because it happened to me. I updated my address after having mined no fewer than 50 blocks on that pool. There is zero support even though there is verifiable proof of whose funds those really are.

It's ok... www.zergpool.com has a 0.5% fee for *all* coins (including DOGE which TBDice charges 5% on rewards), including LTC, has a solo option built into the command line, and can even support a party mode... and it doesn't matter if you use a non-legacy address. The pool Op (Pinpin) has had the pool for years and years and can be easily communicated with via Discord if there ever is a problem. TBDice hasn't seen any real hashing power in 2 months. Sure they find blocks... but they find maybe one a day, most times it's over multiple days. People don't want to risk their rewards with a shysty operations.

Sure, for almost 2% and I have to wait the entire 100 block confirmation... or I could mine at VIABTC for 1% and get paid after 10 confirmations. Until BSOD lowers their pretty high fee, I'll look elsewhere. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Guess there will be no response. I'll have to plan something accordingly I suppose... maybe a pool with 0.49% fee and an actual OP who responds to miners.

if you have a really fast internet connection or aws or something you can probably figure it out from this
https://github.com/mikeghen/litecoin-solo-mining-tutorial

dont expect solid results running a pool on a regular pc with regular internet tho.

a simpler way is just solo mine LTC at https://bsod.pw/

4 days later and no response from an OP. I see previous posts going back for months with similar situations and no response. I would take comfort seeing that a block hasn't been hit since I hit it last except that just means my fellow miners haven't had a good run lately either, which sucks.

I'm going to say the Mining Gods are unpleased with this pool at this point and they've whammied it... but again, that's not a lot of comfort. What would be comforting would be to see the coins I earned sent to me.

Not sure where OP is for this pool but there are issues needing addressed by users.
Would be nice to hear from the OP some time.

Seems to have gone MIA

It would be great if the OP of the pool would respond. I've actually been mining to this pool for a good little bit and I've hit plenty of blocks. I made the mistake of updating a payment address away from a Legacy address and hit a block. I've changed it back to my original Legacy address but mining at this pool will not be the same if I lost out on a block that was genuinely mined by me and the pool gobbled up. Especially when it says nothing about new addresses not being recognized by the pool AND the name didn't display red.

The email addresses on each block is proof enough of ownership of the block. http://ltc.tbdice.org/blocks.htm - it's currently the last block hit. #1556261 - Shows as MN.Miner - 2 blocks before I hit using the Legacy address and it shows LN.Miner - The DOGE wallet addresses never changed as one last bit of proof. The block gobbled up by the pool is:

https://chain.so/api/v2/block/LTC/ae1a88664ce964270ba997ff4e8e7d4ce67c7441da50928786b915268c833d31/

Which shows the null data and the pool accepting the coins for 24.87586745

Please either pay out to the original address or send to the Legacy address (if you need it again or for verification, I'll send it to you dm)... either way is fine.

Thank you!

I did convert to 3Q

here I am:

3QkjD...WxpN2   Self   373M / 0.000%   133M / 0.000%   13.1M / 0.000%   554K / 0.000%   79.2K / 0.000%   45.56984

So this 3 number will pay off and is not an issue correct?
Yes Absolutely
Pool Home Page: MutliSig addresses starting with 3 are properly supported.
Any way as you see even though people find blocks with M addresses i just process payouts manually and all is good. But however I DO PREFER everything to work without my interaction with L or 3 addresses
Best
Loshia
PS: thanks for Merit points! This is a second block i am paying out manually. First one was to a miner who misspelled his address with some added crap at the end.
Any way there are no worries. if someone makes mistake in the user name LTC block reward goes to pool address and is not lost. After Prove of owning mistaken address i am paying out manually. That is the way it should and must be.  Wink

May i bring the mods attention again for 5th time already. Please restore my hacked account. I do think that the above should be enough to prove i was owning it. Or i can upload whatever is needed to pool web. Link to my hacked and locked profile:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=60875

Hello Loshia, I've already sent you a PM, with me, the P2SH conversion does not work properly for help, and to the payment of the blocks in the Pm Manuele written.
Greetings Dave
