Why not giving fake ID for submit KYC and approved? I think is not serious problem because we can't trust anymore with some project exchange or bounty campaign must participants submit KYC document, how ever they will take benefit from our data using for other else.
Of course everyone can do that but the problem is if the company is legit and they find out that you sent fake details?
for sure you will regret why you do cheat them.

If you dont wanna expose your KYC then better not to join any of them that ask for KYC.

I don't like the idea of KYC, but I guess it's best to send in accurate information in order to not risk your money.

If you need to pass verification on the exchange, then you need to pass KYC only with your real documents. This will help you restore access to your account if it is lost. I do not consider passing verification for various bounty campaigns at all, because it is not legal.

I just was brought up to speed on groups of people sending in fake/Photoshopped ID's by scanning public records to defeat the KYC process and it seemingly is very easy to do.  It appears that many people sent in fake documentation to the Bob's and Polymath KYC and had no hassles.  How do these companies verify people if all they have to go on is public information?  Did they even really check the ID's or were they simply collected the data?  How rampant do you think this is?  How many of us are complete fools for turning in our documents when others simply faked it.  Now they have our data and the people who faked it are still secure.

NOT FAIR.

I guess its not bad having to hide identities . Because it is the internet . You dont know what wilk happen to your personal information. And it is good to be cautious .
But having a legit KYC may help you to easily get a refund or get your shares in the company where you invest with

You can send fake IDs for bounty or airdrop because it's not so important. But what if you need KYC for the exchanges you use. I think you should use your ID because it will be a lot safer and you will be supported enthusiastically in the future without any problems.
Do not send a fake ID for KYC on your main exchange...
I've heard the news that some people who experience problems when withdrawing, it is difficult to get their assets back because of the problem of incorrect ID data, sending fake IDs to KYC in the airdrop or bounty program is good but don't send fake IDs on the exchange.
Sure, if we use exchanges and they ask us to KYC, it's best to use our own KYC because if there are any security or withdrawal issues, we have can test it quickly and accurately

That's why it's necessary for companies to check documents normally because kyc is a very vital process which should be treated with extreme caution to avoid trouble in the future.

Until now I am still thinking and asking for some reason now cryptocurrency requires KYC, if it is done for exchange because to open an existing feature, I can still accept it. But if it's in an airdrop or bounty campaign, of course it should be a problem. Don't understand what they will do with the data. They can also abuse it. I hope that someone can make this a concern and return to being a cryptocurrency that protects user data.

They don't have much time to verify them manulally as they have alloted short time for them(hunters) to submit their KYC so that is why many participants were able to get through with fake identity. It just sad that in order to get few rewards people would drag someone's identity into a complicated matters like KYC.
If you get a lot of tokens from bounties, there are many who give fake identities, and besides, sometimes tokens from bounties do not have good value in the market, so it doesn't matter if you give fake identities, but if for exchange purposes, I don't think you can use a different identity. fake, because the exchange always checks it manually for each user.

No.
For bounty hunters, they don't fake their IDs to get away. They mostly submit the right IDs to get their rewards no matter how small it is. They will even submit their documents to the scam projects. Not all of them I guess. Its usually the people with large amount of BTC that are hiding behind fake IDs. They will even befriend someone from India or Philippines to act for them.

It is illegal to pass KYC with someone´s else ID. It´s a criminal offense, so there is no diffrence between this and stealing money from others. So do not worry, send them their real ID, they can´t do much with it because in most cases you need to prove your face with the ID card.  Wink

no offense, but it looks like this is a thread of future criminals

Has anyone recently bought a fake id? What forums there are where people talk about the best services and so on?
I found this forum quite helpful - eyefakeid.
my daughter used it. I hate it...

how did you allow your daughter to use eyefakeid?

no need to buy fake id where you can edit it, like changing the name, replacing the photo or a lil bit edit with your face.  Grin

I believe that you will be found if you do this. On many websites, the ID verification system is becoming very sophisticated, even going so far as to ask you to scan your face using software that is very well designed for this task. My advice, don't edit your ID, if you don't want to do KYC, then don't sign up on the sites that ask to do KYC

If I have my way, I will also send a fake ID

and you are at risk of becoming a criminal, is it really worth taking that risk?

after all the teams of most projects don't pass through any verification process, why will I give out such vital information to a complete strangers

you are assuming that they do not verify these documents, but you cannot take the risk of handing over Fake ID just because you believe and trust some assumption. Another point, if you are not satisfied with giving out your ID then do not use sites that ask to do KYC

the worst part is sending out your personal information and still ended up not being paid, at this point, your personal information submission is irreversible, that's not ideal in my opinion

 Grin

it must be a big disappointment

So I wouldn't hesitate to send fake ID if I had my way.

here you are thinking like a criminal

i have never supported KYC activities on bounties but with the recent increase in scam activities with KYC data, i have resolved never to partake in any project that requested for Kyc. i don;t see the need to ask for KYC since there is a request in the bitcointalk for people to provide proof of identification while participating. i think it is time hunters learn to turn down any project that request for KYC AND GENERALLY TERM IT SCAM.
Both parties, bounty hunters with their KYC and KYC verify team of the project will never found a solution. One side with their fake KYC and one side with their shady thing with KYC to not release the bounty. Both sides had a distrust for each other and since it involved KYC verify so no information could be public in case there is doubt at each other. If only there is a third party that is pro in dealing KYC verify and trusted enough in the view of bounty hunters. They could be a bridge to connect and maintain both sides to make the KYC verify to become normal again.

I think you should go to the black market, maybe there will be the service you are in need. Or you can go to the telegram markets, I see they sell fake IDs but have not verified whether they are reputable or scam
