Mining some blocks, network is up and working fine as wallets....we need a mining pool though
Obviously i hope you are dealing with some exchange to get listed soon, otherwise there's no sense on this;)

Yes, connections are increasing and network is getting stable, pool would be great....if you experience troubles or down please let us know.
Regarding exchanges, we are already working on this and we hope that the coin will be tradable soon.

We are happy to see that someone is already mining the coin, we are at block 100 and the zero reward is allowing a fair launch.
If someone could setup a mining pool would be wonderful!

Blockhhain  ?
is that something new?        "you might wanna fix that typo"
if not then at least your right that your not competing with the other coins! sorry but you guys are not showing anything new or exciting and your putting yourselves in the middle of trashcoins that to be honest" should never have been made in the first place"
sure its nice and fun to copy and paste a few things here and there and to put a few numbers changing things in a source code ....
but come on why in the world would investors come your way instead of in one of the hundreds of other directions of the other coins?
im not trying to trashtalk or fud you guys or this thread but a honest and open answer would be great!?

Sincerely, what kind of answer you would expect after your post?
The honest answer is that we absolutely know that we are not inventing new algos or implementing new amazing technology, our altcoin was created mainly to be used on our platform and traded on exchanges, like all other altcoins that are out daily (Ahhh...If you had read the announcement with interest rather than looking for typo errors...)
Luckily out there are lots of peoples more optimistic and crypto enthusiast than you that would follow us on our project.....otherwise assuming your arguments are true, there would no be space for any other altcoin in the world.
If you don't like our coin or project you can always choose "one of the hundreds [..] of other coins" and let us make our way.
In all case, thanks for submitting typo, was fixed  Wink

Well, after a small break from the forum, we are here with a statement about actual state of things:
During last days, we proceeded to develop our website and the platform, and fixed some things like hardcoding nodeseed on the upcoming wallets.
We are setting up block explorer and we are looking to find mining pools for when the PoW phase start.
We still haven't setup any bounty or social campaign as we want to wait until launch date is confirmed.
Continue to follow the thread and our twitter https://twitter.com/solarflarecoin for any upcoming news.
Thanks!

I saw that probably the coin launch switched from ICO to a traditional one, if confirmed i personally approve that choice...ICO is risky, and nowadays here are too many ICO?s that poeple's didn't know to invest...sometime back to tradition is the right step.
Can i have some info about the launc date?
Thanks

Yes, you are right...after some concerns about the ICO, we decided to revert our decision and go for launch the coin without initial coin offering.
We are working on compiling wallets for Windows and iOS, website will be launched soon.
As soon as we have a pool up and running, we update the OP with link  Wink

How will you prevent yobit-wallet entering maintenance mode in about 100 days?

This is the dumbest statement of all time. Who cares about maintenance of their wallet in 100 days from now? Further thought: yobit puts their servers on maintenance randomly, they can run 400 years without being unplugged and handle operations faster than chinese supercomputer.

Yes, very dumb.
It tells me, you didn't read the op, right?
I see around 95 days of pow and 4 days ico time, another day until the ico starts. And then? How will the chain move forward after the last pow-block.
I can't find anything pos-related here...

But thx for your post, making me number one in at least one category.

We don't like PoS because we think that altcoins have to circulate from hand by hand and make volume on markets with trades, with PoS instead coins stay stuck on the wallets holders killing volume on exchanges.

Now referring to constructive posts:
We need a pool for scrypt coin. Watching this thread for yobit ico start.

The scrypt mining pool will be available as soon as someone will setup.
We will publish pool link on OP and we will give further notice when available  Wink

How will you prevent yobit-wallet entering maintenance mode in about 100 days?

Sincerely we haven't posed that question, as we are at an early stage that would be useless to ask this when we still don't know if we were accepted or not. According to how this problem works, wallet in maintenace are mainly of abandoned/broken coins, but we can see also dead coins with working wallet....then we don't know when and if this will happen.

Swinging from buildings in my spare time.
How will you prevent yobit-wallet entering maintenance mode in about 100 days?

That only happens during pumps. So long as this coins stays the same price or keeps dropping then I think we will never have the maintenance mode problems like other coins on there.

Strange coincidence?
