It is always a reasonable step to buy some bitcoin,especially nowdays when the price is so cheap,maybe we will never see bitcoin price 6000 $ again , so buy as much as you can,also buy some etherium btw.

Either long term should be a fine idea it is a matter of which you think will do better long term. I personally believe in BTC more than ETH but others personally believe ETH is better than BTC. Personal preference really.
If you can, then don't wait. You might not get this opportunity again. Bitcoin will go up soon, once the proper correction is done then it'll fly again. Alot of investment is coming in Bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies. And soon the Bullish trend will come back and things will be good again. So don't wait. once the bullish trend start then it'll become very hard to catch.

my 90% of asset is in ethereum and the rest is in bitcoin and other coin. i very trust ethereum that my money will earn a lot in a few months. bitcoin is for long term investment that why i do like ethereum than bitcoin.
Buying both these assets is very promising at the moment, do not forget about economic patterns and diversify your investment portfolio. I would also recommend that you buy other altcoins from the top 100 for capitalization.

If you want to have a long term invested, you can buy BTC now since the value is in red right now. You just need to wait for the market to rise or the value of BTC. And while waiting for the market to rise up, you can join some bounty campaigns so you can additionaly earn some tokens or coins. There are always risk in investment, you just need to decide for yourself and believe in what you want to believe.

In crypto market btc is still its highest value of $5,935 value price while the etheruim is only $ 443 only. More than a half of different in each value so its better to buy btc for now.
