Bitcoin prices right now are very exciting! If you are going long on bitcoin, you should be making heavy purchases right now! The last few days has been bloody but the price is rising steadily now!
you can buy anytime but i for me it's getting risky these days because it always go up and down.
Now bitcoin price is increasing. So wait for the price down. Then buy it. Most of the people wait for the price this time. If hold the coin then wait for the price increasing time. Then sell it. So time is important of this process. So time to acct and time to complete the process. It good future growth and future saving. So people get more profit. People get more ideas and plan for the process complete on time.

I suggest to just split them into Bitcoin and Ethereum. For me, these two coins are the best for investing especially when you hold these for at least 3 years. I'm sure that you will get a ton of profit if you do that. 
i think yes, this is the great time to buy bitcoin because it is too low now, no one can ever expect bitcoin can be this low, so we should take the chance and own some bitcoin now, it may rise very much in not far future
I think that you should by BTC as first step in cryptocurrency world and when you will have enough BTC (it is individual amount - 1 BTC for me for example), you can buy another altcoins.
Yes, buying btc now is worth it because the price is low and it may increase next month! You should definitely buy while the price is low, when not you may end up in regrets. I feel that bitcoin is going up this coming months.

Either long term should be a fine idea it is a matter of which you think will do better long term. I personally believe in BTC more than ETH but others personally believe ETH is better than BTC. Personal preference really.
