I want to invest with $ 2000, and I will choose 5 altcoins. Maybe one of them is Cardano. Is the short term more likely to gain profit or vice versa with the long term? Thank you.

It doesn't matter if it is short term or long term investment as long as you gain profits on your investment. And also include Ethereum (if it is not included) on your 5 altcoins that you're going to invest in. There's no need for long explanations but it will surely rise again at the near future as there are many projects that are using its platform.

What are you talking about? Do you even know how trading works buddy? Short term and Long term investing are different and you need to decide which is better for you based on your personal preferences.

Most people prefer short term trading in order to earn quick profits, but I personally don't prefer this and instead prefer long term trading since I can stay patient for a long period of time.

It's actually not possible to predict the success either in the long or short term, starting off with 2000  dollars is not such a bad idea and considering the fact you'll be diversifying it across different altcoins.in the short run you could gain one or two profits, but it will be more advisable if you can keep them all for the long run, then there are higher chances of more profits

Given the current state of the market, I think it is more correct to divide investments into short-term and long-term ones. If you are an uncertain trader, you can use bots.

You can divide your funds for two parts: one for long term and another for short term investment (i.e. 70/30). For long term choose Cardano and another trusted projects. And for short term try to make profits in more risky and volatile coins.

better short term. if indeed you have $ 2000, why don't you buy BTT at binance? if you bought it a while ago, maybe now you will get a lot of profits. in my opinion, it's not right to hold long-term coins for now. but if you can be patient, just go ahead.

Should be good investment for long term but in some cases before you reap the rewards, project gets abandoned by team.

For now you better choose for long-term investment. I think it will be more profitable and you will get a bigger profit.
Yeah, but you must be patient for that.

My advice, you also have to buy Bitcoin.  Wink

Cardano is potential coin and I think that is good for longterm. You can search for the 4 coins that you invested and better to invest is the cheap potential coin because you have only $200 in your pocket. Don't choose shorterm now because the best to choose is the longterm because of this market now.

Find coins that have low correlation to the price of eth. This means ERC20 tokens are out of the question. I would suggest you buy litecoin as it seems profitable on the long run. Buy exrn if you are looking for short-term profit, needless to say that it's highly risky.

If you consider the current market situation, definitely it is a good time to invest in long term market because almost all coin lost their value more than 90%. So, in the long term, those price will recover. So, it's better to invest for a long term now.
Short or long term in my opinion is relative because the benchmark in investment is our investment is a target profit that we will get. not just for a long time or just for a while

Seeing the current market conditions is certainly difficult to expect to get profit if we only invest a short term, I will buy cheap coins and have good potential in the future like eos, ripple, stellar, nxt and waves.

If you want your profit in your daily life then short time investment will be the good idea or if you want to choose your investment for your future use are your next generation then it will be a long term investment is good for your life but both investment need more research and good choice so if you don't pick the right currency for investment then both are not profitable

Dear Op. It is hard to answer your question in short. Money grows like trees. Some trees grow better after you trim the tree. Some trees dont like trimming.
Long or short term investment depends on the criteria of your project and the then market situation. If your token has nice daily trading volume, high volatility and you have enough source to collect info about the project then short term investment is a great way. Everytime you cycle and recycle the money, money will grow.

You have $2000 maybe if you want to pick short term, maybe with bigger percentage from all your money. if long term we look something that can gain bigger profit and if bigger capital in short term, we can gain big profit too.

Cardano is not a bad choice.
For a long turn, I also would recommend you EOS and NPXS because they are having real ecosystems with a real products.
In short terms, you could try your luck with the BTT hype and try to make some quick money.

I personally prefer long-term investing in Bitcoin, because I can't master short-term trading, because I often make mistakes and result in losses that I get, so I prefer to hold my assets.

at this rate, the situation is still not possible to take profits either short term or long term because now the market moves suddenly and tends to move downward. Not the coin problem chosen but indeed some will not be in accordance with the previous analysis

a year ago it was possible to earn short-term investments in just a few days you could multiply your money, but in today's market more profitable is long-term investment for obvious reasons
