With the current flow of the market nowadays, I think it's best to play safe by engaging in short-term investment. I've seen in the past few bearish months that technical analysis doesn't work anymore, as far as I am concerned. The market is highly volatile now; every second in it is very crucial. In the twinkling of an eye, everything could change, and what's worse is it's getting graver and graver each time. So for you not to feel sorry in the end, I suggest go for short-term investment with little risk. Small profit? Yes! But just think of it this way: a small profit is better than a huge loss.
I prefer short-term investment now, because I can make timely strategies for market changes, but the short-term trading profits are not high!

A technical would always goes with the chart as their bias so it doesn't matter. But yes short always makes people to go on a double edge risk. Fun though but not for everyone especially new in trading.

Long term so far is applicable to apply now not short term because its too risky if you do short term in this bearish season mate. But if you think to yourself that you can handle short which you know how to make profit on a day trade, well go ahead do it and buy what you can afford to lose only. But if your sure better to stick on long term investment at least less risk.
looking at the current market dynamics that tend to go down I prefer the long term, where to buy lots of coins when the market falls and see market trends for the next few years when the profit targets are above 20-40% I will sell it
This also depends on the kind of investment you want to make. An investment in coins like Bitcoin ETH or Litecoin would require you to go for a long term. Because in the long term investment, the ratio of profit that could be earned in these coins is huge. The only purpose is to make money and a long term investment promises money. However if your coins belong to a down category of altcoin, they would be good for short term investment because coins like NEO are preferred for making quick money.

A long term investment ought to have a focal point on long time profiting upon which it is good to invest on low valued assets than high price property. With short term investment one desires to go with the property that have were given the excessive fluctuating characteristics. Everyone invest their money on their own analysis about the market. I have no enough time and money, so I preferred short term investment. So that I can earn some money in short time.

I think, making short-term or long-term investments depends on the price of the coin and the profit you want, if the coin price has a good and fast movement it will be more profitable for short-term investments and you will be able to get profit faster, but if the coin moves slow it will be profitable for long-term investment
For now, looking for profit is very difficult, because the market is in a bearish state, the problem of using my strategy is to invest more in the long term, because the risk is too short in the short term, so what is wrong to wait or to get a maximum profit

I would pick long term trading on q good coin with valid project because in the long run, it always reward patience with profit
Same with me, if I’m gonna do long term, I would go to do holding with the right coin and the best coin, in this way, I could get higher profit.
i think that you should buy low and hold on to them until they go up in price so i think that the greatest reward comes to those who wait. i think long term is best to get the biggest reward out of your investment. It may take a 1 to 5 years maybe longer but it will be worth it because like everything it will go up eventually.

Both are important for various cryptocurrencies, not one. Most of the people will suggest long-term blindly, I think in different ways. There are several coins, which will be of great value in the future, so you have to hold them for a long time. And several coins for short-term investments! In coinmarketcap, more than 1700 coins are listed but 60% of the coins will be worthless in near future, so you have to be careful about your investments.
