I am for Btc. Ltc is not so reliable like Btc and I think that you want to work with more suitable and profitable one, so use Btc for your manipulations there.

You should buy Lite coin. I have a strong belief in Litecoin.
You should buy both if you have enough funds. Both are really good coins, and judging from the look of things, Litecoin has really good potential, and would be doing so much for the industry in time to come. However, if you do not have enough funds and you are confused of which one to choose over the other, I would just advise that you follow your heart.

If you're not willing to buy both as a suggestion then I would recommend buying bitcoin over litecoin. However, both are good cryptocurrencies to hold. Pretty much if it's on Coinbase, it's a solid bet that there will be liquidity.
It is worth buying BTC because its security is much higher . Of course Litecoin also has great potential .

Indeed, for long term, Litecoin and Bitcoin are profitable and price right now at low level. But if i should choose one of both coin for long term, Litecoin looks promising to make profits and Litecoin is top ten in coinmarketcap

Litecoin drop the price more than 70% from highest price and Litecoin is good coin. I am prefer choosing Litecoin than bitcoin at this moment and hold it for at least 3 months because when market start recovery, I am believe price rising more than bitcoin in percentage
