It depends on the price. Basically if the price is low then its favorable to buy. And if the price is higher then you can sell. Buy at low, sell at high. Its better to buy now while the price is lower than the expected price increase this year. However, we must consider our funds and make sure its your excess fund. Bitcoin investment gives higher return but with higher risk. Just give what is in excess for you to live the life you have had now in cases that failures come.

The possibility of pump is always there but always remember the rule that you should only invest the amount that you can afford to lose because investing in crypto currency is very high even you invest in bitcoin which is safe coin much better to be safe and be wise on investing money. hallo guys, i am new to trading btc. and days before the bitcoin gold fork, i was advice to sell my btc (which i did) because it was suspected to drop in price few days to come. But surprisingly, from then till this very moment, btc has been on a continuous rise. now btc is at $7000+ and we are getting close to the next fork in mid-nov. DO YOU GUYS ADVICE I BUY BACK BTC AT THIS CURRENT PRICE OR WAIT for a possible drop in price?
There is no reason for purchasing at this high value so I will hold my current coins and will sit tight for significantly higher cost in coming weeks or months and it accomplishes my objective value then I will begin offering my coins with no faltering or getting more insatiable as holding too long can be dangerous as well.

No one knows for sure (with any degree of certainty) what is the future of bitcoin. Bitcoin itself as a protocol will continue to evolve but as money, really no one knows. It could be dethroned by other cryptos.

As new person who has no idea about tendentions in bitcoin growth/fall, is there any reason why bitcoin keeps going under 13k last two weekends?
Well if Bitcoin continues to tank then we will all be at a loss. Only those involved in pump groups and the big whales are going to be winners because they control and manipulate the markets. All we can do is make some gambles and guess what they are going to do next. I think Bitcoin will tank under 10 USD and either RIPPLE or another coin will take it's place. That is what looks like is going to happen because now Bitcoin is way too slow and expensive to move around, so many people don't find it practical anymore so they are just dumping it. Especially the day traders and whales who want to trade hardcore and fast for big profits.
We saw major downfall in the price in this week so I think this is very good time to buy bitcoins as its comparatively very low then the price of last week so if you have excess money then this is the best price to buy bitcoins as the price will start moving up once again in next couple of days so if you are looking to make short term profits then this is best price to enter into it.
If you want to hold bitcoin you can buy bitcoin for a long time hold because bitcoin price is more growing in end of 2018.
Thats not only for 2018 but every next year. Its not too late but only miss good opportunity, we still can get a lot of profit from now. Bitcoin has good prospect to become main online payment methode. Its probability is big. 
Having bitcoin in our wallet is like securing our future's asset so when you see the market in red then buy some then when it falls again then try to buy again. The current price is a good entry versus the price for the last few weeks.
My advice would be buy in now, it is at stable price and i should start to gro after all holidays are over. (Chinese new year may cause another dip tho)
Bitcoin is a mainstream cryptocurrency! You as don't sell performing asset! If any thing you try to consolidate your position on quality asset like bitcoin. If you ask people who were confused about the potential of bitcoin, I am sure they will have a lots of stories to tell.
For me it is okay to buy btc in low value and wait for the price or value to raise high and that is the time you should sell it. If I have a money today I"ll buy btc for a list price and sell it for the higher profit, it is indemand now a days to buy and sell btc. Some of my friends are buying btc and selling it for a higher value to earn money.

you said price is already recovering therfor it is not recomended to buy bitcoin rather the best time to buy bitcoin is when it goes in a hard dip like last week. also i dont see that bitcoin has back on 16k dollars. the value of bitcoin is still in 14k level therfor he can still be able to buy it in a cheaper price when compared to last week that bitcoin is pretty high and stays at 18 to 20 dollar level. now is the good time to hold wait rather than buying or selling.
the way on how you are able to buy and to sell may depends on you , if you have some chart of on how you are able to buy btc or when you are able to sell it the decision of it are may always depends on you and youre current situation therefore make some analysis by yours.
