I think you shouldn't be too risky to invest all your assets in one coin. We do not know what the future of ETH will be. But it seems that in the past 3 months, the currency has only stood still in place. Please divide and invest wisely to bring high efficiency.
No, it isn't advisable to invest all your money in only one coin. That's way too risky. Why don't you just share it amongst various coin.
As always , it’s not advisable to put your investment on only one coin ! It will be better if you spread them to avoid stories that touches the heart ! Especially now that everything seem to have bottomed out , it’s good to spread your investment on good coins ! Make your research and decide ! You can include ethereum !

I suggest you invest in several altcoins, just in case when an altcoin eth price drops, it's better if you invest Eth with half the funds you have and the other half invest in BTC or other altcoins as a form of anticipation if someday altcoin eth to experienced a pretty drastic price reduction.

Don't never put all of your money in one asset. Ethereum is good but this is not adviceable to all of 1k dollar only in this coin. You have sufficient money to diversify your portfolio. You can buy one ETH then put in all other top20 or50 coins. This way your risk will be distributed and your portfolio can defence to the adverse situation of the market.

Putting all your eggs on Ethereum is a great choice but patience is needed, don't let your portfolio lose its value, only happened if you sell it for a lower price. Keep holding and sell only if you have a reasonable amount of gains.
