Depends on what you want to do with your life. If you're looking to be a doctor, lawyer, engineer, etc - then college is a must.

If you're interested in a trade, there's plenty of well paying jobs that don't require you to spend four years in a classroom.

If you do go, go to the most reasonably priced one you can find with a good reputation and put in the effort so that you can get a decent job and pay the loans off quickly.

Even for other professions, such as business or army, the college degrees will come in to use at some point of time. Going to college is a unique experience, as it allows an individual to interact with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Yes some of the job offers now accepts a college degree graduate even you are not exactly in that field a good background graduate will put you in a higher position in job ,unlike those who did not step in college will have a hard time to find a good job with a big payment .

go to college in Europe! it's cheaper and quality is the same

The reason for that is the European colleges receive huge amounts of public funds, while those in the United States don't have that advantage. Also, the colleges in the US are more profit minded.

If you can then you should...
Yes, you may still find a job even if you did not go to college..
But we cant deny the fact that those who graduated in college has an edge compared to those who doesnt in terms of finding a job.

This would be a good preparation for the future. Only you need to choose the course on which it will be really interesting to study otherwise laziness will constantly make you regret choosing a college entrance.

College is a big accomplishment if you finish it. It will give and open many opportunities for you in your future such as prestigious company and you will experience a better living. But if you did not finish it expect that you will experience a disaster in your life such as loss of job opportunities. So please go to college because it will really help you a lot.

Hi everyone,

What advice would you give a HS senior in US about to decide on and/or enter college ?

yes you should go to college. There are more opportunities when you are a degree holder.

Yeah you should go in college, In college they have many opportunities and thats true. But you need to choose a course that fit in your mind which is you are comfortable and you like that if you graduate you can get a job easily. If you get the course that you not like and whats for and what the purpose that you get thats course if you not like.

I guess it's best to go to college so you'll have a vast area of opportunities and your pay is much higher. When you have a degree, there is a huge possibility for you to find a stable job and you are on an advantage provided that you are doing good in college. But you have to figure out what you're good at before proceeding to college so you'll know which path to take.
Its always much better, good advise because i have a mistake in choosing a course before and now i'm half a year to graduate i have no choice to shift or to start a new degree again .I choose a course that is about money or big salary if i got accepted in a job but im not happy with it my life will be half the other half will be at the sea and the other half is my life .although a good life with good salary but my life will be always half in danger.

I think you should go to college because if you do, you will have better chances to get a decent job with a satisfying pay. Though you will somehow be in debt if you'll go for a student loan but you can still pay that off provided that you can get a job with a much better paying value.

If there is a subject that you are genuinely interested and want to pursue then yes. Otherwise you can do something with less debt at the end.

Of course.
Because if I do not go to college, much of my life will be unknown, which will lead me to a real life once. So I think college life is very important in student life.

If you enjoy physical work with your hands and not in an office setting, then don't go to college, go into a trade such as plumber/electrician/HVAC etc... you'll make much more money than with a worthless college degree.

If you do enjoy office setting, and can't stand physical labor, then college degree would be pretty much required. You still have to work very hard to get into the better paying positions. Vast majority of jobs requiring college degree still pays shit.
