its depend on you. if you see the fact many people who get big profit on invest in crypto and many people to have some good project make them have good profit from ICO. what we can see in the fact my opinion yes. you can try invest on crypto.

Investing in crypto is probable going to be a good decision, although we are in bear now, but the crypto will recover from this, the question is how long the bear would be for, months or years? I am not so positive about when it comes into investing in ICO, haven't really made any money till now from any of my ICO investments, instead buy coins with solid FA which are down in price now, eg etc or zcash.

It seems to me that we should invest in both these areas. But it all depends on the amount of investment available. ICO can be a good option for long-term investments, and with the help of a crypto result you can get faster.
Yes certainly you should invest in cryptocurrecies and ICOs, but only if you can afford to lose. If you invest thinking about profits only, like in gambling, then you might not profit in the long term. Before investing, research the project on many platforms like Bitcointalk, Cointelegram etc. But if you do find a project which aims to bring something new, something useful and has potential use case and is also cheap, then it is worth investing.

I do totally agree with you. In everything we do, in what industry of investments we will engaged with, what it needs is proper education and awareness. Before investing in Bitcoin, or Alternative Coins or the cryptocurrency as a whole or even highly risky ICOs, Initial Coin Offering, research and analysis is always the best key to survive and earn. Also I just want to emphasize that this reseach analysis of ICO and cryptocurrencies are only one of the ways of RISK MANAGEMENT. At this way, you can mitigate your gains and losses. That in such time, you will gain profits rather than losses because you employed these such risk management techniques.
You can invest. Perhaps this will bring a good profit. But there is always the risk of losing your money. You do not need to invest the last money, or take a loan.
You can invest in good alt coins but do proper research before investing. If you do not want to take much risk, simple go for bitcoins.

If you're new then it's better to invest in the basic coins and study ico projects and altcoins for further investment in them
