Yes you should invest in crypto currency and icos because you can gain from it. There are good cryptocurrencies and icos to invest in but there are also that just a scam, so you better do some research first before choosing which cryptocurrency or ICO you gonna put your money. It is also risky so invest only the amount that you can afford to lose.

I think investing in both altcoins and ICOs is far from being the right decision ; knowing that a large number of these ICOs is susceptible to end up with big scam fraud, unlikely to altcoins, where you can control the operation instantly to insure avoiding losses, as well as get profits from it .

I think nvo has real potential and they released their first beta wallet a few days ago.

Just look at it this way, if you really do not want to invest money into bitcoin or alternative coins(altcoins), you really won'. No matter howuch convincing you may get. And if you really want to invest into bitcoins or in the crypto world as a whole, no one can really stop you in any way. No matter how much they make crypto currencies look bad to you.
So it really just depends on the type of person.

I think investing in cryptocurrencies can bring really good profits. But I am not sure about the ICO's. Also luck is a big affect on every kind of investment.

You should invest in cryptocurrency for now not ICO. There are so many great altcoins out there to invest into if you don't have money to invest in bitcoin. 
Invest in ICOs always lucrative but it can not be safe all the time. It can be risky. You can earn fast and lose fast. I think the point is find potential projects with a reliable, responsible team.
In my opinion it is important to invest in a token that is offered by a company that has already successfully built up a product. I personally consider ideas like the one of tenx that offer payment solutions for mass market users as very relevant because crypto currency - adoption barriers can thereby be reduced. tenx offers a credit card which allows users to pay with cryptocurrencies

Now they want to simplify the whole crypto topic and integrate a crypto saving feature into their app which will eventually provide a lot of people with an easy access to bitcoin, ethereum etc.

Investing in crypto currencies is the best thing to do recently the booming of btc has also led to increase in many other alts. Obviously most of them are falling but in long term wise you never know these can give you 10 times the return.
Speaking of ico it is always good to invest some extra funds obviously it has changed a lot now you don't instantly get profits but if the team works on getting it listed on many exchanges and develops a product it is more profitable tham investing in cryptocurrency.

When investing in ICOs be really careful this means do research. Find out who is the team? Who are the advisors? Is the whitepaper good? How many investors they have? Are they solving a current problem?

Yes, you should. It definitely worth it. We see how new projects appear every day. Most of them achieve good results, and worthily declare themselves in the market of crypto-currency. I think the future is behind ICOs. Sooner or later the world will switch to such a method of calculation and such an economy.
