I have earned a lot from ICOs than I can ever imagine. As long as you know what you are doing and you know how to dig on a project, then you should be fine.

It is just like in the real world, even if you want to invest in a company, you have to understand the strength of the team, the chances of the company being in the spotlight later on and the chances of your investment growing and that to me seems more like something anyone should be able to do before investing.

having a lot of money will be very good if you invest. for a good prefix, I think investing the money you have on cryptocurrency, or on an ongoing ICO is a good thing. many people have done that and are really successful.

You definitely need to be willing to do heavy research into projects before buying. Read white papers from cover-to-cover, research the team, and look for confirming indicators (like VC backing). If you aren't willing to do that kind of homework (I'm talking many hours per ICO) then you are better off sticking to the big, known coins.

Doing both but use good portfolio, because make invest in ICO more risk than in crypto that entered the market so use 5-10% of money for ICO and other 90% for crypto that has good in fundamental. By doing both you will know each level risk and know how to build risk management for consisten profit.

Well investing in cryptocurrency and ICOs is not an easy decision to make so you must calculate carefully the risk before in investing into it, investments are good because in a short span of time you gonna get back what you had invested maybe doubled plus the profit you will be gaining each passing days if the cryptocurrency or ICOs you had invested will increase its value.
