You shouldn't invest bitcoin when you have a feeling of fear or doubt. Bitcoin is volatile all the time but my advice is to hold or switch to ETH.
From what i read between the lines it looks like he bought BTC really low and having it since then. I personally like to have diverse portfolio. So maybe some part of btc to invest in some other coins or stocks is not bad idea.

If I were you, I would never sell my bitcoin unless I need money very urgently. I made that mistake once, and believe me, I'm so regretful, now I'm trying to collect it again and I will hodl it in my hand as much as I can.

Everyone has their own different targets. An investor always wants to know how to make maximum profit. It is normal for everyone to learn from their past mistakes, now it is time to make sure that they do not make the same mistakes again. Like you, I made a mistake and lost my bitcoins, now I understand what I did wrong then. I started collecting bitcoin again from 2019 and now I am satisfied with the result.

In my opinion, a certain target should be set in advance to sell Bitcoin. By doing this you will be able to take your profit and buy again if the market trend changes.

Its on its high price ever.
So it is the time to sell btc. Sell when the market is on It's highest position. Buy when the market crashes. So it is the right time to sell and earn some cash.

Hi Everyone, I have a dilemma since I am holding an wholesome portion of bitcoin. With all the speculation going on in the market I don't know whether to sell or hold on my bitcoin. I've been wanting for more than a week to see if bitcoin's price improves, but it is only falling more and more.

I've gone through dozens of analysts' blogs, websites, market cap sites, price prediction sites, and all the important bitcoin market sites to find the right answer. But I am still unsure.

So, can anyone please tell me if I should dump my bitcoins with some losses (selling at lesser price than the buying price), or should I hold on to it?

There is also another reason. A promising stock just opened up. So should I sell my bitcoins and but the new stock that I'm interested in?

Just hold your Bitcoin, the price is low at the moment and I would advise against selling, especially now, since you'll be able to sell at a higher price soon enough. I wouldn't go around reading predictions if I were you, anyone can post anything. Bitcoin has shown that it has an upward pattern and always recovered from the depths.

If you really want to sell though (Supposing there's an emergency/you need cash), I'd advise you to wait a couple of days, see if the price recovers and then do what you think is best for yourself.
We all know that market is an uncertain place where anything can happen .You were saying thet it could be recover but it could be go more down as well .So that i wanna suggest if has got the enough profit he can sell if there is an emergency if not you always can hold your valuable asset and btc is always a valuable coin which can give you a good return.

This is a big problem to you because you don't fully understand Bitcoin and you don't know when to buy and sell, this can put you into a wrong place if you continue to ask the same question all over again. I suggest to make effort on learning the market, because if anyone tells you to sell and you follow it without any basis, then you'll lose money for sure so keep learning mate and don't ask the same question, improve your knowledge about bitcoin.
Actually, you can't predict the market price, and guessing where is the buying and selling point, it's hard to determine even you have done study the market, even experts will also experience failure in trading, in short, no one really knows.

My advice is, don't too much greedy if you are investing in bitcoin. Dont sell if your profit was not there because bitcoin remains the amount that you purchased and even how many years you will hold.

Should you sell? It's up to you. But remember always once your profit was there, its a time to harvest your ROI.

See your decisions should not be influenced by others opinion as its wholly your choice whether you want to hold your Bitcoins or you want to sell them at the current prices. If you have got your satisfactory profits and you are willing to leave the market cashing out your return you are free to do so.But if you have not get your retuns you should hodl for long term as btc is undergoing a small correction due to which the prices are down (if you are not new you know the volatility factor and these are integral part of btc system) and in the long run price will surge to ATH again so you can have patience until that.

Some of the tips which might be useful for you:

- Be patient in crypto market if you want to get high profits without panicking
-Keep hold of your nerves without getting sentimental as you can loose all your funds in the market
-Be self dependent and take your own decisions considering market movements.

I sell my Bitcoin for a reason because I need money for now...
I hold Bitcoin because I don't need it this time and I believe that Bitcoin will be more valuable in the future, so I wait that moment to come...

What is your purpose?
If you think that you are in profit this time and was enough for you, then make a decision to sell. But if you are still hoping for more, then make it hold and wait for the next Bullrun.

You will need to have a goal. Think that the price of Bitcoin is not stable but keeps swinging.

You know what dude, if you are one of the Bitcoin believers or fanatic that it will reach 50k$ and up each,
I am pretty sure you won't sell it. but if you are encountering any a little bit worrying even you got at least earned on it,
Well, I think it is better to follow your will unlike you regret in the end. Now, the question is, are you happy in the profit
you get into bitcoin?

It will be different if he has urgent needs which need money because we need to fills that urgent thing with the money. There is no other way that we can do except selling some satoshi's that we have. Even if we are bitcoin believers, we need to know when we need to sell the bitcoin instead of holding it forever because I think we need to make money from bitcoin. What makes us feel happy is that the bitcoin price can jump to a high price in a short time.

But unfortunately, that will not happen in the near because bitcoin price needs to up and down, and even if the price can increase higher, the price will go down to adjust and gets more support so that the price can rise higher.

It is significant to know your main purpose of holding.

Do you perhaps wanted to achieve enough profits and buy some things from that profit? Then there is an answer to that, hold longer. I think you are still new to this kins of investments. That's why you are kibda worried and panicking when bitcoin drops. You are not alone experiencing to be deficit when btc is falling. But there is akways an option to "hold".

You do not have to worry if you are a kong term holder, but if you can't patiently wait for your own bitcoin to atleaat pump and has a profit atleast, then it is you at the end who'll gonna decide.

Don’t panic about bitcoin’s decline now. Moreover, you say, if you sell it, you get a loss. That means you buy bitcoin at a high price. It’s already your risk if bitcoin declines because you buy at a high price. You don’t have to panic about selling. Wait until bitcoin goes up again. It takes time for that. So you have to control your emotions right now. This is important in investing and trading in crypto.

I've gone through dozens of analysts' blogs, websites, market cap sites, price prediction sites, and all the important bitcoin market sites to find the right answer. But I am still unsure.

Firstly you don't need this sites to determine when you're to sell or buy an assets you picked interest in investing in. What you need is discipline, you have to program your mind to stop listening to what the media have to say, they'll always follow the trend inorder to stay relevant. If the Market is showing bearish signs then they're bearish and start publicising article that spread fud.

Selling of your bitcoin should be your own decisions and not because anyone says you should sell. Also for starters if you're having second thoughts when you intend selling then don't sell. Are you in need of the cash of urgent, if no  then keep to your coins as they should be considered investment vehicle.

The market currently might be showing some bearish trend but that doesn't change the fact that this year is going to be bullish for bitcoin and you'll regret getting rid of your bitcoin if that was to be your final decision.

No one can assure you with the market changes of bitcoin. By the next hour the market can start falling downward, or it can have a steep forward move. Based on different changes happening relative to the market there'll be variation in the growth.

It is always good to make self decision when it comes to selling/holding of bitcoin. If you sell today getting suggestion from someone, and if growth happens once after the sell it'll cause some form of anger against the person suggested for a sell. Here the mistake isn't with the person who suggest it, but mind won't accept it.

Even if you go through a million blogs who analyze the price of bitcoin you will not find a concrete answer for your dilemma, it would be great if you could convey your entry point as it is more than important while giving you any advice as there is no point in selling your coins at a loss as the price will recover in due time, no can claim about the certain path but i am still hoping we would see another rally in the coming months before a major correction.

From a trading perspective, Bitcoin is currently bearish even though it has gone up a bit from the last dip. So far, the bulls haven't been able to get it to retest the previous highs and keep failing on every items. It's just a matter of time before a breakout  - either upwards or downwards happens.

I've gone through dozens of analysts' blogs, websites, market cap sites, price prediction sites, and all the important bitcoin market sites to find the right answer. But I am still unsure.

Most of the so-called analysts on these blogs, Twitter on even YouTube base their analysis on pure speculation and nothing more than that. They just tell people what they're interested to hear.

This is the common problem where we find ourselves on a difficult situation whether to hold bitcoin or to sell it right away, we have so many “if” in our mind and that prevents us from making the right decision.

I personally experience many times like this before so I suggest to have your target price and commit on that, don’t be greedy anymore and take profit or do your cutloss. If you want to hold it for more months then so be it, just be confident and trust the process, if you want to sell now that’s fine because you already make profit.

It depends on your requirement, if you are looking for quick cash in terms of emergency then cashout else don't cashout now as there are investments poring into bitcoin which will surely lead to further bullrun or atleast reach the last ATH. Bitcoin market will keep fluctuating and you have to decide if you want to settle for the profit which you have earned then cashout else wait for bitcoin's price to buckle up which has higher possibilities. Don't panic sell.

Yes, it depends on his priority right now. Does the OP need the money or not? Is the price right now higher than his buying price? If yes, and he wants to sell it, then, that's fine. You are already in profit even if it is not the profit that you want. It is only him that can truly answer or decide on this matter. What are his goals for holding his bitcoins? Even if he went thru all these price predictions/speculations, no one can really tell exactly what's gonna happen with bitcoin few days from now or months from now.
