It depends on your requirement, if you are looking for quick cash in terms of emergency then cashout else don't cashout now as there are investments poring into bitcoin which will surely lead to further bullrun or atleast reach the last ATH. Bitcoin market will keep fluctuating and you have to decide if you want to settle for the profit which you have earned then cashout else wait for bitcoin's price to buckle up which has higher possibilities. Don't panic sell.

What's the purpose of you dumping it? do you have a reason why you need to dump it? are you short in cash and that's why you're leaning to dump it?
If there's no reason why you need to dump it, just hold it and wait a little more. You'll regret selling it if you'll see the price goes up but if you have decided to sell it for your needs, no regrets for that.

With BTC the long er you hold while there is impending bullrun the more valuable it may be. But if you really need the money badly, you can always sell there always gonna be someone out there wanting to buy BTC. It's funny because the people I personally knew who learned BTC and crypto didn't go back to stock market.

I've gone through dozens of analysts' blogs, websites, market cap sites, price prediction sites, and all the important bitcoin market sites to find the right answer. But I am still unsure.

There are a lot of predictions and speculation about the price, but no one can predict 100% correctly.
I've read many predictions as well and according to this one, based on the analysis, double bottom or adam and eve indicates the price may increase by the end of the month, just give it a few days more if you in hurry to sell bitcoin. However, bitcoin should reach higher and your investment will worth double rather than invest in a stock if you are willing to wait at least 6 months.

It will depends on what price you bought it, if the profit is already enough for you or you needed some funds to use it, I still think BTC is still able to set more new ATH records soon since many companies share just started to consider it as investment since there are already known companies now who acknowledge its use and ability to gain, there will be sure some dump but it will just depend on how much or how long you're willing to sell.
The fact is that even today, well-known large companies continue to buy Bitcoin even at current prices, and this indicates real prospects for the growth of the BTC rate at least this year. I believe that Bitcoin should be accumulated, not sold.

Hi Everyone, I have a dilemma since I am holding an wholesome portion of bitcoin. With all the speculation going on in the market I don't know whether to sell or hold on my bitcoin. I've been wanting for more than a week to see if bitcoin's price improves, but it is only falling more and more.

I've gone through dozens of analysts' blogs, websites, market cap sites, price prediction sites, and all the important bitcoin market sites to find the right answer. But I am still unsure.

So, can anyone please tell me if I should dump my bitcoins with some losses (selling at lesser price than the buying price), or should I hold on to it?

There is also another reason. A promising stock just opened up. So should I sell my bitcoins and but the new stock that I'm interested in?

Bitcoin is always long term relationship investment so you can wait and see the next week results. But you have USDT in your wallet, you can plan to invest on Ethereum, Because sudden pump and dump is make more noise in trading, So better we must hold two or three altcoins in bag. Trading is a wonderful journey for crypto platform so patience is the main theme of trading and my suggestion is decide your own way.

Just hold your Bitcoin, the price is low at the moment and I would advise against selling, especially now, since you'll be able to sell at a higher price soon enough. I wouldn't go around reading predictions if I were you, anyone can post anything. Bitcoin has shown that it has an upward pattern and always recovered from the depths.

If you really want to sell though (Supposing there's an emergency/you need cash), I'd advise you to wait a couple of days, see if the price recovers and then do what you think is best for yourself.

You should at least wait for the coming week to see how the market reacts.

The price has plummeted this week because of this false news about the double-spend, thanks to Bitmex.
In the next few days, the market will most likely absorb this panic since people will realize that it was nothing more than FUD.
I can already see the market is recovering today

I can't say that the price will go back up to $40k but in any case, it will certainly increase from what it is today.

It all depends on your purchase price. But honestly, if you bought at $40k, knowing that the Bitcoin price is cyclical, either you sell now or you are prepared to wait about 4 years. Unless the market is flooded with great news this year with more institutions and companies jumping on the BTC market.

It's actually quite simple. Are you satisfied with your profits,

he says he is currently in a loss position, I doubt he's satisfied unless people are happy when they lose money

Bitcoin price is any time to up and down. So wait for the bitcoin price then sell the bitcoin. If the price will be low that time buys and hold the bitcoin. Then wait for the price increase that time you sell or exchange any coins. So check the market price evevrydays. Then you get some ideas. Don't sell the bitoin wait and hold the long time.

don't panic and don't worry bitcoin is only undergoing a brief correction. My advice is hold bitcoins and don't sell at low prices, because if you sell at low prices you will only get losses and disappointments

It's actually quite simple. Are you satisfied with your profits, or are you still not benefiting from the bitcoins you have.
Don't trust other people when that person suggests selling your bitcoins for a small loss, that's really stupid advice.
You can sell it when you get a profit.
Whatever it is you have to make a target, if it still hasn't reached the target you have to hold it, but when you feel it is enough to sell it.
Don't sell at a loss.

If:
  • you're not willing to hold for the long term
  • you think bitcoin isn't going to be more expensive in the future
  • you're going to need to sell soon for whatever reason(business/bills/hospital expense/etc)
  • you think there's a better investment out there

..then sell your bitcoin.

If:
  • you think bitcoin will be worth a lot more in the future
  • you're willing to hold onto your bitcoin for YEARS
  • you don't need the money any time soon
  • you think bitcoin is a good investment

..then don't sell your bitcoin.
