Rebranding is the creation of a new look and feel for an established product or company. The other aspect of Bitcoin that can be rebranded is it's bad reputation that has been built up and shilled up ..over years.
Every company gets to a point where they need to re-think their original goals and future plans... Why not Bitcoin? We have come a long way
since 2009 and making small changes will help us to take this into a new future, without the baggage of the past.

I think you overstating the negative publicity that bitcoin has received over the years. There is no need for a re-branding at this stage, it will be a horrible move!
Bitcoin is the face of cryptocurrencies, even people who know nothing about the cryptoverse, know about bitcoin. After all it is the fastest growing asset of the century!
What is needed here is improved investor education. People need to be more informed about the true potential of bitcoin, bitcoin does not need to change itself. People who have zero knowledge about cryptocurrencies want to invest in bitcoin, so a better marketing strategy is clearly what is not needed. All that we require here is a better set of investors who are well informed about their prospects.
Probably not a good idea. Bitcoin already has it's name decently spread out to the masses; even though people's impressions with bitcoin are probably 50% positive 50% negative. Also knowing rebranding bitcoin might just be an easy win for BCH. Just my 2 satoshis though.
I also believe it bro, bitcoin nowadays is getting a huge value thanks to people that believes and actually uses them for their businesses. Changing anything of its brand would get it worse because as of now its very easy to make a brand but its hard to make it famous. Another reason is that people would get confused of the old and new brands as it can also targeted by scammers because its easy to make a fake brand or look.

That is also my opinion on the theme. I do not think that it would change anything to positive. Rather, I think it would even be a disadvantage if you were to rename Bitcoin. The name Bitcoin is already well known and stands for crypto currencys. In addition, Bitcoin forks like BitcoinCash could say that they are the real Bitcoin, if the real Bitcoin no longer bears the name Bitcoin.

Any kind of rebranding should have been done nearer the beginning of the coins creation, now it is too widely used so rebranding would be difficult. Stick with bitcoin, there is already too much confusion with bitcoincash and other variants

I don't believe bitcoin need any rebranding at the moment due to the simple truth of bitcoin ability to accommodate any further challenge that may come with time and trying to rebrand bitcoin is like making to loss it original image which is the king of crypto, bitcoin doesn't need any form of rebranding at the moment.
Why should we rebrand bitcoin. I really do not see the essence of rebranding bitcoin. Bitcoin already has the brand, name and value. Trying to rebrand it to any form may cause it to loose the value it already has because people will try to do more harm to it.
It is not about rebranding the technology but it is about us rebranding ourselves. The technology as pioneered by Satoshi was a self sustaining one and it has stayed for sometime but we those who are "advertising" it should change. We scam ourselves, we spread false news and so on and so forth. We should rebrand ourselves and then it shall be better.

I agree as well. rebranding bitcoin to something else may disfavour the community because most people now already know about bitcoin and changing it would only cause confusion, in my opinion. Plus, I do not see the need or benefits of doing so.
and if bitcoin not popular anymore, we can blame OP for it. bitcoin already good with good and bad side of it. so don't need rebran or even get Hardforked
There is no reason to do that and some may think this is necessary to avoid some bad and negative effects on Bitcoin but if we do that it will be a failure from the beginning and Bitcoin will loose its war in front the people who are trying to restrict and ban it. What should do is to inform the public about Bitcoins positive, beneficial side and also its real intentions and that can make a real change for Bitcoin in the world

I think Bitcoin will not have the brand name as the big corporations in the world. Bitcoin is a currency that can be traded anywhere. So I do not think Bitcoin is a not kind of merchandise and will have the brand
I don't think bitcoin should be rebranded, it was created and designed in a unique way that should not be altered. Despite its challenges, i only think that efforts should be made by the developers to curb the situations.
