WARNING: Do not let the reported hashrate in this miner fool you.
Track the SIGT generated over a few hours to determine if it actually yeilds more coins.

For me this krnlx mod is very deceiving and gives less coins. Please stop posting your miners hashrate showing 30+ on 1070, 50+ on 1080 Ti.
Its all garbage. Ive tracked the numbers over 6 hours of use and compared to it other mods such as sp3. So just a headsup

PS: the power usage spikes along with gpu usage drops are very common every 2-3 min on each card. Just wanted everyone here to know the truth. Maybe an update to this is in order. That being said dont let the high hashrates fool you.
This is open source so you can fork the repo and submit any appropriate pull requests.
I've been wondering about that myself. The hashrate displayed by the pool, I am mining on, jumps all over the place. What do you believe to be the most stable miner for skunk?

what do you guys get on lower tdp such as 70%? it seems that this miner is only good on higher tdp, it lose speed if you reduce to much the power output

this is the fastest skunk miner I've ever seen, but it is unstable, I always run into errors and crashes on ubuntu16.04, built with cuda7.5.

Really nice!

Sorry for my newbie question, but what is the name of the gpu monitoring software? It looks really cool!

Thanks!
Steve
This is nvidia inspector.
With this utility you can adjust memclock to -1000.
Also, you can make different presets to change settings in 1 click.
Command strings from my .bat file, for example:

nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:0,0,65 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,-1000 -setPowerTarget:0,97 -setTempTarget:0,0,71 -setFanSpeed:0,60
nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:1,0,80 -setMemoryClockOffset:1,0,-1000 -setPowerTarget:1,90 -setTempTarget:1,0,71 -setFanSpeed:1,62

Could you please check the hashrate on the pool and the number of SIGT in a hour? It's known that the rate on software is 25-30% higher than the real rate on the pool.
Yeah, I know that.
Right now numbers at pool side are a bit lesser. About 5% less. Will check it later.

I've got 57.5 MH/s on 1080ti (AORUS enthusiast model) @95% TDP +70 core -1000 memclock
And 32.5MH/s on 1070 @95% TDP +70 core -500 memclock

Update: on my second rig Zotac 1080ti Extreme doing up to 60 MH/s at 95% TDP

Thank you for doing great job!

I'm trying the latest palginmod 1.1.1 just now it appears to be a little bit faster than spmod5 or this one for me (like 0.2-0.3 MH/s extra), power seems to be stable as well. You might need to update to latest Nvidia drivers if it complains about cuda cores not found. What's also interesting is that my temperatures are down as well.

https://github.com/palginpav/ccminer/releases/

EDIT: Actually nevermind, the hash stabilizes to near identical across all miners for me which is around 17.11 to 17.33 MH/s, but the temperature difference appears to be real down to 68C versus 70-72C on others, ambient is a stable 25C don't think that's a factor. A bit odd that at same settings I get different temps on different miners.

just tried to build it from source.zip, but no skunk in the download Sad

Any reason the power fluctuates so much? Is it the algo or the miner?

Hi all,

My results with: ccminerx64_170810_CUDA8.0.exe

1x Asus GTX 1080 TI STRIX:  ~50.2 MH/s  (GPU Clock +140, Mem Clock -500, Power Target 80%)
4x Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB:   ~16.3 MH/s  (GPU Clock +137, Mem Clock -400, Power Target 50%)

Power at the wall: 480W

I've achieved 55+MH with the 1080ti and nearly 20Mh with the 1060 ones, but I must stay below 500W total usage

Well, tbh this miner does improve overall hashrate in comparison with other miners for skunkhash. 7x GTX 1060 and doing 118 MH/s while on other miners they were doing 112 MH/s with identical settings on Win 10. Good work, but yes power fluctuation is all over the place.

what setting for the 30Mh +? with this version i'm getting less than the sp mod5 what is the intensity here to set, 25?

Set intensity to 25.  Wink

68~69 MH/s now.

yeah but i get 27.7 MH versus 28.5 on sp mod 5

tried our miner amph? ...

Tried all the miners available. I don't see much improvement over palgin's original mod hence I'm staying with that for now.
