When trading What Matters More Skills or Luck?
In my opinion is skill because on trading there are many method who must be used, and they must be learned  until we can make profit rutine. Although trend of market is going down, the profesional traders always make profit.

For me skills is much important mostly when you already have experience in trading . in trading not all people are lucky to pick some coin and have profit for buying and selling it many newbie  buy accidentally a shit  coin couse  don't have enough knowledge what is good and what is bad to buy. If you already have skill and enough knowledge it's easy fot you to buy and sell.

I think both is necessary for trading like Luck will give you opportunities and skills will be the one to make your trading successfull. But relying on luck is a pretty bad thing in trading

Skill and only a small amount of luck would be needed. Different kinds of skill granted, you need the skill of making new friends that will bring you to the inner circle, you need skill to be able to read charts and history. You need many more skills to be a great trader.

Having both would be very helpful to be a successful trader. You must have the skills in trading and some sort of luck. Leaving 1 component alone would be useless I guess since if you use skill alone without a mix of luck maybe would give a unpleasant result ex. Luck in buying coin in a right time and luck in selling it to highest price. Well it do require skills to observe the price. But having also a luck still important. I'm just saying my opinion here.

When trading What Matters More Skills or Luck?

I think we need both of them. if we just have skills, sometimemes it's not enough to get high profit. probably our prediction will be false. so we also need the so-called luck. some people might not have skill, but have luck, so they can earn high profit.

besides, we need time to get those. it's not that easy to get profit on the first trying. so I think we also need "time".

It depends what is being traded, with forex or cfds a good trader will try to eliminate the chances of being lucky or unlucky. If you're trading against the price of bitcoins then you need to rely on being lucky slightly more. Trading altcoins will often mean luck plays a huge role in determining what profit or loss you make. This does however depend on the trader as even very successful traders have bad days.

It is not the luck which make you lose or win while you invest in altcoins, but it is the knowledge about that coin in which you want to invest and the skills of trading, if you rely on luck and buy coins without knowing about that then you put your money into blind well and will not know that how much will it go down deep, and will not know that will we be able to get that money back or not.

i think when you trade, both of these things matters because when you buy them for small price, you have to be lucky to see how their price grows up
For trading I guess it should be 70% skill and 30% luck. If its the other way around like 70% luck and 30% skill its like YOLO trading and thats not a good idea if you want to trade. Thats why some would even go to the distance of using analytics and checking the history to see if it can help predict the possible outcome in trading.

I think we need both to make a profit that much, well maybe we also need 50% luck and 50% skill. because the skill is good, then you are able to create good luck, well, you know, luck does not always show up, but we always need to win something, so you need both if you really want to really become a great trader

i think skill need luck but luck do not need skill. if you are lucky you can make money in gambling without any skill, for example a lucky draw or latray do no need any skill, but skill always need luck, we can see so many skillful people applying for a job on one person is selected it does not mean that the other may not be capable for that job but the one who is selected for job is more lucky than the other.

Skill is the main component I believe because you have to pay close attention to what's going on to know when to buy  and when to sell. Luck plays a roll of course because you can do everything right and something bad might still happen.

I tink skills is enough in trading as a person if know all about any asset he want to invest in then he will know the time of its rise and fall and he will invest in the same time, while luck work only for those who are newbie in trade and invest without knowing about it.

When trading What Matters More Skills or Luck?

It's not 100% luck or 100% skills because these two things are combined together, I think that sometimes the luck has higher priority on trading because most of the time when a coin gets dumped we don't know when will it happen so if you are lucky to sell before a dump then you make profit which means that it's not on skills based, we can see how CJ is dumped recently.

I think both are matter. Yes you can get success only with one, but if to look on the point in mass it is gonna be the most successful trading happens with skills and luck all together. I even think that skills are more important here.
I have never tried to trade, only cause I am not confident in myself about trading, but I try to learn and like to read experiense of other people who tried on this site.

Imo it differs for short term trading or long term trading.

In the wild wild crypto west you need luck for long term trading. Will the coin still be around in 2 years? Will it still be popular? Is the technology still relevant? That kind of stuff is difficult to see beforehand, especially when devs tend to run away from time to time.

Short term trading, using TA, requires a lot of skill. Ofcourse you can get bad luck when someone decides to dump suddenly, and you may miss big pumps at the start, but if you are skilled you will almost certainly make a profit.

You need to have both traits to be a successful trader. Skills is important because if you don't have this with you, you will be out played by others who are waiting for a sucker who will fall to their trap and buy something that is worthless. Luck is also important, being there at the right place and at the right time is luck. Trading is not something that can be predicted using a simple method, it needs your luck and your skills.

When trading What Matters More Skills or Luck?
More in skills than luck I think ,luck is only for the early adopter who hold the coin for long term and got profit morethan x10 skills need patient know pattern what coin is good to buy or what coin is will get you lost.. I'm not pro on trading but i think many traders had more profit from learning the move of the coins first.
