However, even veteran gamblers may not used to deal with "cold period" of slots games. It's a quite long period of slots rekt that demotivates player from playing the game (retired) or make them not patient enough to wait for the "hot period" thus they burn more money than their gambling budget. For me, I just play with my budget as usual. For sure, it's just "for fun" budget.
I really doubt that being a veteran gambler is any kind of indicator for emotional stability. What if he had a really bad day, his wife leaves him, somebody in the family/friends die, he loses his job? One bad day is all somebody need to lose control and lose a lot of money gambling. I think everybody has had moments like these or even worse. They decide to go with emotions. Its just human nature, regardless of how experienced they are.
Since I'm the one mentioned to be veteran by mu_enrico so let me tell you how I deal with gambling activity when I had a very bad day.
Luckily I'm not that stupid to do gambling when I'm in a very bad situation in my life.
I'm gambling when my emotion is stable enough or when I have nothing to worry in IRL.
