Privacy is built into Status at a value and protocol level. While there is work to be done to ensure absolute privacy and freedom from censorship, Status does not hold user encryption keys and therefore can't reveal them even if forced to.

It seems SNT still have a long way to go before people can get used to chat with a decentralized platform, Telegram, Wechat have a huge group users now and its hard for people to make a change
That why they are still on going to development their project and Yeah The Status community keep growing, at least that one of proves their development and many more i think

"That is proof of the seriousness of a project" ... sadly not always, look at Centra - it was listed on Binance, Okex, Kucoin and got everywhere delisted. Nothing is guaranteed.
But I like and trust Status too.

A significant upgrade to Status daily consumption has been merged into develop and is being tested now. From 1 year ago at 1000MB to less than 17MB! Decentralized p2p chat with bandwidth as low as telegram!

Really impress by the Status team, one of the few projects in the space that was oversold to investors but now making the investment worthwhile. I know this is a long term project but with the frequent released there is always something good for the investors to cheer about.
