You could have least diversified and put half on ADA, at the moment there is no clear indication is going to be a huge success or they are going to provide anything revolutionary imo.

I think it's risky for selling your eth in exchange of cardano, I mean both are good but it's hard to put our hopes in that. It's more likely selling precious gems to a stone, so if you still have some money in you better to buy back some eth before it gets too late.

You are direct an adventurer, you could sell a little ether and buy only partially ADA and not completely. But now you need to keep your coins at least two years to at least somehow recoup your losses. And the profits from the ether with the growth of the market you would have received much more.

Don't make a quick decision you should know what kind of altcoin that you sell, on what her potential in the future.
