It's like you sold a potential altcoin to buy a potential altcoin, both are good altcoins, but if you believe that ADA will pump up then keep it hold surely you will earn profit.
Ethereum cannot be replaced with ADA as ethereum is a well established and top altcoin after bitcoin and have lot of potential of moving upward. Ethereum is number two coin of the market due to its own value and a long term holding coin because lot of value still inside it and it can touch even 2000$ in this year.
The autor had to specify for how much he sold ETH and for how much he bought ADA, so that in the future it was possible to evaluate the correctness of the decision.

Selling ETH now is a really bad decision, as it will for sure rise in time. But buying ADA might not be good because you can't really tell the future of some new coin, it may grow big but i don't think it will overcome ETH.

Ada has a lot of potential to do xx. in the falling market it was actively bought, I think by the end of the summer ada will grow.

I know ada have a great future but don't put your $ in only one coin. Eth will success soon but in case ada it will take more time i think.

A very risky step. It is better to divide 50/50. In my opinion, the potential of the ether is much higher. And for ADA, you have to watch very carefully.
my own it seems will still remain with ETH. Though it may be much too the platform eventually ETH scam, or charred, yet I still believe that the ETH will remain good in the future. I am sure will generate returns greater than at present.
I don't think you are right. I think Ethereum will have a lot of upside in the future, but the prospect of ADA is not clear, so if you hold the future of Ethereum, you will get a lot of revenue, but You invest in ADA will be a great risk.
I think the reason behind the selling of your ETH to ADA could have been the current state where ADA is potentially increasing it's price growth. However, please try to see the big picture since you might regret your decision later where I think ETH will regain the price value back where it's price before. Just try hold your ETH a bit longer and wait for it's recovery to happen after the bull run of BTC that is expected to happen within the coming months.
