first time getting some transaction spam?  Tongue , Anyway it's annoying when they go to in-websites wallets that require all deposits to be confirmed, Some automatically approve all 1 satoshi transactions but in others you might need to contact the operator of the site to get that transaction removed or considered confirmed.

Just spamming to get some traffic to their site, these kind of transactions have a link in Blockchain.info and they are sending those to attract some attention -most likely transactions are sent to addresses that has been active recenty and most people would at least check an unknown transaction- "and as a cheap way to promote their business".

But this looks like a negative promotion right now. It would be ok if they will be sending at least minimum tx fee (0.0001BTC).

I don't think it's hacking related, it's just a type of promotion "the transaction contains a link back to there site when viewed in blockchain.info".

Everybody got the same dust payments. Just ignore them, as you can't do anything else.
this is very iritating -_-
just make us to pay more txfee when sending ..

It's really a minor problem. Fees are already low and you don't pay more fee just for 2-3 dust payment you got.

Miners should require bigger fees from well known transaction spammer to include their transactions on blocks.

Only way to stop it

Some is sending me 0.00000001 BTC from 1LaEZpke8tv18YrsrVbg1ZDxkwAogM7AdU
https://blockchain.info/address/1LaEZpke8tv18YrsrVbg1ZDxkwAogM7AdU
Is anyone trying to hack my wallet?

You got some "dust" happens all the time
It is a method of cheap advertising.
But can be pretty annoying since the tx has super low priority, might never confirm.

More like it will never confirm
If it does we have some devs who are going to have a field day at whoever accepted and relayed those blocks Tongue
But yah its effectively spam

It did confirm:
tx id: 5dcfc737985d72cbc1db9a17d0ac871729d30917bfc5ac3d0044fa417b154ee9

I never saw this before is there even any fees to one satoshi?

they force a transaction fee

Well, not necessarily. But the transaction might never confirm if he does not.

You can make transfers without a transactions fee.
Without going into details: adding a transaction fee just increase the priority.
When that is said, no transaction fee with very small output might never confirm because of the low priority, but can still be picked up by a generous miner.
This is of cause on protocol level, e.g. bitcoin core suggest a mandatory fee, to guarantee that transaction gets confirmed.

Lots of companies or projects are sending small amounts of bitcoins to user addresses just to promote their service on a blockchain public note...

If you can, avoid them using other addresses or not being listed on blockchain... they're just some cents and what you really prefer:
- A clean blockchain or another one full of spam and ads?  Wink
