I wonder if that is what happened to me? I sync with the network using an old empty wallet. Two days ago I noticed my "empty" wallet had 1 Satoshi in it. I thought I had just forgotten it was there, but now I wonder if it was a transfer? I'll have to check tonight.

what is the threshold for hack attacks.  someone just sent me 0.1 and i'm wondering if that is a hack attack or i should give the money back Huh

The sender is "BtcSmart - Multiply your money". Spamming through blockchain. Bad way to promote their business.

You got some "dust" happens all the time
It is a method of cheap advertising.
But can be pretty annoying since the tx has super low priority, might never confirm.
