Same applies to me, there is no essence for gambling on the kind of game i don't watch or like, this means i will be less informative about that particular game and to place a bet on what i don't really know like that automates for failure and one will loose the bet, ideally, we go for what we know and enjoy it together with those that appreciates for everything, also, we are going to be mindful of the money we are using to place bet by choosing the ones we know well and not the unfamiliar games.

The sports I don't like generally involve hurting animals, or at least where they can injury themselves for the amusement of people. Things like bull fighting, cock fighting, fox hunting, are all rather barbaric and should not even fall into the category of sports but maybe people consider them that way. If you have a blood lust, then at least go for something like boxing where two grown adults have decided willingly to beat the crap out of each other than forcing animals into the mix. Anyone that has spent just a bit of time around pets can understand that they have all kinds of emotions and I'd never want to instill any kind of fear inside any animal unnecessarily, you're kind of sick in the head if these things amuse you.

That's right, I have friends that are hardcore sports bettors and even if they're not a fan of the teams, they're betting on them as long as they have the basis for betting on them.

Right odds, right news, and other factors that they see making that team have more chance of winning.

It is not because someone bets for a team in any particular sport, but because they won't bet for it. And even if they don't like the sport as long as they've got reasons for it, they'll bet for that.

I don't see any reason why someone will be gambling on what they don't like, your knowledge about such will be so little that even the money you put in front wouldn't work. It's only when you love something you can confidently makes predictions about it, most often when you see sport betting, it says bet on your ambitions. It's because you like it and you want to have fun about it otherwise you have no business to betting, it's better you stick to casino games.

It's when you watch matches you will know who is well positioned in a team, which team is good, what team is inform and which team is likely to beat one another. These are the things that gives you hint about your moves and the predictions else you will hardly makes money from gambling, you will only be an attraction for gambling platforms to make money from your pocket.

I don't do that; there's no excitement doing it. I like to watch and bet on sports that I understand how it works because even if I am an expectator, I like to be part of the match as a bettor and as one giving an analysis. It's very boring if you watch a game you don't understand only because you have a bet; you will wish that the game be over and announce who is the winner and how the winner wins.

Casino gambling, maybe and that’s because, there is usually no knowing about this right… when it comes to sports betting, it’s a different ball game. I want to enjoy every hit of it you know. I want to make predictions knowing that, these are the events I am expecting to come play in certain games and it gives me a lot of satisfaction knowing that, it indeed play and even better when I profit from them. Betting on sports I’m not quite knowledgeable with or don’t fully understand, it’s mainly for research purposes or I’ve got bonus on them.

According to the topic, I prefer watching live football even though I didn't bet on any. I love watching football because I love it, especially when both teams are good in the field.
Most of the times I don't get the chance to watch the games I bet, and I normally bet on popular games and leagues. Football is an interesting game and it has a lot of fans, just the way every teams have supporters. I have seen a football lover that doesn't gamble, she loves football and she also love playing football but she doesn't gamble at all. I don't think I'll feel the need to bet on sports that I don't enjoy watching. If I don't enjoy those sports, I won't be able to analyze them properly for winning bets because I have no interest in them. However, for the sports I love, I can analyze and place bets on them much better than on those I don't have an interest in.

I agree with you. There is no reason for me to actually partake in betting if it is a sport I have never followed before or whether it is a sport I have never felt passion before, to be honest.
Also, you need to keep in mind that those who bet in sports they do not even know enough to analyze are more likely to lose their money due to the lack of knowledge on what they are doing in the first place.
The best case scenario is to feel passion for a sport way before one even starts to bet, it gives a positive edge against other gamblers who may be not as well-informed as one.

I am only interested in football and basketball, so I would not picture myself betting money in tennis or swimming competitions. It is kind a thing of common sense. Roll Eyes

I used to be a fan before a gambler, but now I am a gambler before a fan. I enjoy betting more than I enjoy watching & analyzing every game, I let others do that job... but I like to watch their stats and draw my own conclusions.

I watch an interesting game sometimes, but for that to happen I need to be free that evening (from work and family obligations) when there are some interesting games, which doesn't happen very often.

I am not so much into the money as I am into searching for good bets while I watch stats... if I win it's great, but that doesn't happen all the time.

i am of the view that it is not right to bet on games you don't enjoy and this view is based on several obvious reason ranging from the fact that, any sports you do not enjoy will give you the most of the losses because you might end up selecting games you know literally nothing about or inconvenient yourself into learning games you are not interested in just because you want to include them in the list of games you will be betting at a time.

if it is difficult to watch games you don't enjoy, it is going to be more difficult gambling on them because all your prediction is going to be completely void of any form of thorough analysis.

Money is emotion Money is energy. When you can earn money in some way it will make you happy and when you get money without any effort it will make you even more happy. But the easier money comes from there, the easier it is to lose money. Gambling is a bad addiction that will make you emotional very quickly due to which you will make various financial decisions very quickly which you will regret later. We all love to enjoy sports because we love sports but losing money by betting on these sports is enough to spoil our enjoyment.

I can't drop the sport that I didn't enjoy but I have question, why the sport you don't like but as soon as you place a bet on it, you enjoy it? It's too strange how a person can bet on a game he doesn't even like. I completely agree with you, this will only increase money with zero happiness, and maybe at that time, he was just so bored. This your topic is some how complex because it's all depends on the individual involved and different people has different reasons when gambling because for those who see gambling basically for the sole purpose of making money as far as they are sure about making money from the particular gambling events they will definitely bet on sports that they don't even like because to them it's all about making money

And we also have the second category of people who are not too particular about money when it comes to gambling and see gambling basically from the point of leisure and entertainment so this sets of people will only gamble on games that they fancy to be exciting and fun while gambling or watching
