Wow! what a round of MM this week, extremely thrilling and it came down to the wire for most of us. Unfortunately I came very close again with the second most correct picks but on the bright side it is amazing that couple of you guys here made it to the top of the main leaderboard, well done and congratulations to JanpriX and tyKiwanuka.

Thanks everyone and congrats to us tyKiwanuka.  Not gonna lie, I did lose hope when I saw that I only got 4 points after the 1st half of the games. And to my surprise, saw my name on the leaderboard (together with 10 other peeps). And to top it off, we also won the internal MM tournament that we have here in its last week.

Super elated with these outcome. The prizes that I received from SB these past few weeks were insane. 

Well that was fun even if I was mediocre AF through the 3 weeks. Thanks for allowing me to enter the competition guys, I did enjoy participating.

Thank you. It's actually not that much work all in all; putting the picks into the table probably takes the most time and I am always scared to do a mistake After that I just put in the result (1X2) and make the wrong picks red - the rest is done via formulas/formatting. But as said earlier, I can give access to all regular/longterm users, so when you PM me an email address, you can improve/pimp the table, if you like. And you (or anyone else) can be my backup, when I am not available^^

I just don't want to make it editable for everyone, since there are weird people everywhere, who like to destroy things.

11 guys with 9 picks. Damn! I thought I was the only one who had the hard second half with picking 2/7 correct picks on final day. Leeds with bad defence, Napoli without their key players, Spurs getting thrashed by Foxes and couple of more surprises is where made me slip. BTW Congrats @Janprix and @tykiwanuka for getting little less than 30 mbtc from the actual MM pot and share of top prize from the thread pot. GG

@tykiwanuka I saw you putting results manually yesterday in sheet for live events. So I thought of maybe work on it just cutting your work a bit. Did a bit of search and finally I was able to get the scores from the flashscore event links using importxml but it only works when the event is finished. Live event shows "-" in the sheet. Though I have converted that into personal sheet to keep up with my MM records (well actually to play with sheets) but in case if you still want to see it or add it I can send you that.

Thanks ty for the excellent rundown as usual. Went for a lot of fancy picks which unfortunately didn't really turn out this round, well done to thw 9-pick boys, I think a lot of last min goals won/lost it for us all. Well done to toma for I think the pick of the week: Barca's draw vs Valencia, only you made that right call. I win the egg on this round;)

Quite some red given the fact we had lots of consensus and there were only two draws.

9 correct picks: JanpriX, tyKiwanuka
8 correct picks: ralle14, Avirunes, Turquinito, leea-1334, entebah, (jayce), (Woohler)

I don't think this will be enough for a prize in the overall competition - there will be someone with 10 correct picks pretty sure.


No matter if I use the bolded picks or the actual number behind the matches for nelson4lov's picks, he doesn't get more than 7 correct. The shared betslip doesn't show the picks unfortunately and the user didn't bother to come back and fix his post/picks.

The all-time stats:



JanpriX and me share the 100 fame points and this puts JanpriX in second place in this very important category He also catches up with Trofo in the wins category, sitting at 5 now each.

12 correct picks is still the record held by buywatress and 2 correct ones the negative record held by Avirunes.

Indymoney still with the best average from those who have a decent sample size. But this is all very close; and amazing that it's nearly impossible to go above 8.x. Only getting ~50% correct on average sounds kind of poor, but shows how difficult it is to get things right in the big leagues.

I dont even bother to check mine anymore after I had only 2 out of 8 matches so far btw you are missing few picks there . You should edit your previous post to reflect your correct pick so tyki could put it on the table


I was going to say dont forget to add Flamengo onto the list but 90th minutes goal eventhough Flamengo is playing with only 10 players from 10th minutes. So every single one of us gets another correct pick thanks to Flamengo and quick skim through the table, it seems 2-3 people are tied with 9 correct picks on top.

I just checked my MM betslip and the leaderboard and discovered I had 7/15 picks correctly. This week's attempt was sabotaged collectively by teams I trusted to deliver without problems. Dortmund, Monchenglabach, Tottenham, Napoli and Watford all lost. Then PSG and Barcelona drew with their opponents.  There goes another failed MM attempt. I would have to try again. So far, only 3 people got 8 predictions right but 4th to 29 got 7 correctly. Next time, I will just followed my guts because I originally wanted to pick Leicester and Lazio to win their games.

Ah it was almost a tough night too, I think Lewandowski saved a lot of points for a lot of people. We'd only have had one 5 pointer from our group if the scores remained 1-1 but hey, you don't win the FIFA best player award and not be good!

Gladbach, Watford and Barcelona let me down. All these were dominating the matches but gave out 3 points to their opponent in the end, As for Watford, they displayed some quite dominating plays in terms of possession and shots but it wasn't enough. That loss has made Watford sack their manager Vladimir Ivic. There were quite some questions raised when he benched Troy Deeney for the match. As for Gladbach's match they had the lead but threw that in second half and same happened for Barcelona- leading  and dominating at one point but gave off the match in the end.

Up now for today, I have picked some surprise picks for the second half, lets see how it ends.

They're also against the PSG game that could be the tiebreaker between them and possibly cause another tie between lea if it doesn't go our way. Also special mention to tomahawk for the only one taking the draw on the Barcelona game that was so unexpected.

Same but for me the hardest games to predict recently is Serie A as I have little to no knowledge on most of the teams.

Nah no thanks, I want to save my remaining luck until 2020 is over. Hitting all remaining 7 games needs massive luck and I'd rather hit it on the next MM  . I'll be glad to have another 11 correct pick and make my way on top of sportsbet's leaderboard for 300 mbtc


Now that you mention this, I kinda realized that the only match that I mostly hit correctly was from the EPL. Aside from that I probably hit few correct pick if it was a clear favourite vs underdog match. The day I hit 15/15 , that would be my last MM and I probably wont touch it ever again lol

Don't give up yet There are prizes for 2nd and 3rd place as well. First place is out of reach, since you have the same remaining picks as Indymoney (and he leads you by 2), but if you have the 7 remaining games correct, you will finish in 2nd place with 3 others.

I suck at this as well, just not familiar enough with especially EPL, but it's still fun....to dream of 3 BTC plus the parlay payout until the Friday night game is finished, to then dream of 300mBTC until it's Saturday afternoon and to then dream of getting a share in the bonus prize - only to get nothing once again^^. Although I won something in first week of Xmas bonus special.

Or a very lucky guy. He probably lose the two other pick from Barcelona's and Dortmund's match


Its no longer surprise me to see Avirunes on top again atleast for now. He was on top as well last week after halfway through. Im glad I went with Everton to win, I was going to go for draw instead but changed my mind. If I stick with Draw, I probably have only 1 correct pick now


Not for me . I have only 2 now and there are several pick that is pretty much similar to mine so it wont be enough for me to get anything. It wasnt anything new though, Im just bad at this lol
