will the winner be decided solely on the number of goals prediction or the number of correct picks in MM or a combination of both?

That time of the week for us MM lovers has arrived!

After winning a part of last week's prize (btw, big Thank You to sportsbet.io, the prize was credited the very next morning and the withdrawal was fast and smooth as usual), I decided to add a side event for you guys and to contribute a 5 mbtc prize for this upcoming MultiMaster

To be able to participate you would need to have posted your picks for a previous MM in this thread at least once, it is also required to attach a screenshot or share your bet slip of the upcoming MM as a proof that you have participated in the MultiMaster at sportsbet.io, and finally to decide the winner, each one would need to guess the total goals scored in the 15 MM games to be played this weekend. It is necessary to add your total goals prediction in the same post as your MM picks.
Please note that once a total is used by a member, that total cannot be used again by another member. So it pays off to post your picks early as it will give you more available options for the total goals scored. Please do check previous posts to make sure your total goals predicted have not been used by another member.

The winner of the side contest will be determined solely by the prediction of the total number of goals scored.
If the exact outcome is not predicted by anyone then the prize will be given to the member with the prediction closest to the outcome.
The prize can be split by 2 members if for example the outcome is 36 goals, assuming no one picked 36 and one member picked 35 and a different one picked 37, then the prize will be split between the two members.

Failure to comply with these requirements will disqualify your entry from this side event.

On a side note, I am excited to see a game in this week's MM with 2 Argentine teams as I live in Argentina and I am quite familiar with both teams. It is the final of Copa Sudamericana, similar to the europa league. It will be a very tight game and as it's a one legged game, it could go either way, although to me a draw makes the most sense, I have to say that Defensa y Justicia is the team with better quality, I personally doubt very much that Lanús could get the win, at least in the 90 minutes, of course if they hold on until penalties then its up to the football gods.

Massive Congratulations to Turquinito on winning the just concluded MM round. It feels good when one of the players from the forum gets to winn. It felt like a long shot given the number of upsets from major leagues but luck shone on you! I wonder how you guys do it though. I haven't gotten up to 8 correct picks since I starting participating in MM challenges.
I'm feeling motivated now. I just have to keep trying to eventually win it. Hehe. Looking forward to next MM round.

We have only one game called off and its Aston Villa Vs Everton all other games was on but still its very good achievement winner is going with 11 wins 3 lost and 1 game postponed congrates to winner.

Belated congrats to Turquinito, I didn't realise someone from here actually went out and won it! With 11 picks too, on a round that had 2 called off games (right?) that's as close to "perfection" as it gets.

4 draws out of those too, so I'm feeling good for the coming weeks about getting no draws right on the spin;) Be nice to win soon before price readjusts to markets (talking 100k BTC heh heh).

Unfortunately You guys didnt. The other winner dai******n already had 11 correct picks before the Juventus vs Inter started so even if dai******n picked draw for that and Juventus ended up winning the match, he will still win with 11 correct picks.  


I never involved The Lord in any form of gambling though  


Its good that it paid off for you, 75 mbtc is around $2600. I didnt research anything at all for the MM, I tried to mix it with few upsets and draws but it didnt pay off for me. Oh well, next round is definitely going to be better.

Welcome to the thread and that is a very good start to get your feet wet into this weekly competition.
I have been doing it since they first started it (from a previous thread I had held for it) and I only ended up with 8 this round.
So it isn't the easiest contest to win, no doubt.
It only costs less tan $5 to enter so why not for your chance to win 1000x more plus it's fun to compete against the others who want to give it a go every week.

Yeah, if Juve won then the prize would of been split between five players you missed Thibaw (if Dai*** infact had Juventus to win or draw) and would have been even smaller.

Me and Trofo had a decent chance with that last match Inter vs Juventus to potentially share the prize with 10th correct picks, but Juventus played very bad and sterile so Inter destroyed them in this match and made only 3rd victory in their h2h meetings in many years.

Congrats for your good win and good luck for your rest of future I was first time here on this thread and with this MM feeling good as manage to 8 wins which is also not bad hopefully I will have some better result in near future.

Dreams do come true!!! After playing every single MM since it's initiation and after countless second most correct picks, finally I managed it. Looking back at this week end, I must say that I got extremely lucky, that last second penalty from Stuttgart to draw the game, I actually prayed to the heavens 5 minutes before that penalty for the game to finish in a draw, when it did, I really thought to myself, maybe if I pray the same way I did but to win the MM, will it work... 
I learned that to win an MM, not only do you have to spend a few hours researching every game, but you need to get quite a bit of luck and also to pray to whoever you believe in. And to keep doing it week after week.

Thank you so much guys for your supportive words, and I am very grateful to be part of this thread although not for long (still new here).
I want to give back to you guys as well, you all deserve it, will post the details of a side event for the next MM in a couple days, so stay tuned!

Hey tyKiwanuka, really not important but according to the upper table I should be having 8 points, not 7.

How do we earn fame points? If I had to take a guess, 100 is for the round's winners? So Turquinito has 100 because he won this one and 3 guys have 33 each because they shared the win last round?

Good one Turquintino to get your first win in MM. Some of us have got our win after 1 year win or still hunting for it but you got it earlier than all of us. Good one.

I had a tough second day again but glad that it was one of us to get the part of MM prize again.

Noticed your name on the leaderboard as you made it to 7th place.
It seems like you need 12 wins recently to be able to sit comfortable above everyone else on the leaderboard to even have a chance at the number one spot.

The one who had 11 wins before the last match must of been a Ronaldo fan because Inter Milano beat Juventus,

There were some users with a pretty good run in the middle of things (notblox1, Indymoney, Thibaw). Our very strong consensus games (18+) all held The average is ok-ish with 7.38, although this was quite an easy MM with how it unfolded, if that makes any sense.

My guess is, that we will start the next MM with M'Gladbach vs Dortmund on Friday

In my opinion, Thiago had a much better game compared to Trent. Man was basically everywhere on the pitch and handled the midfield well enough. Our biggest pitfall in that game is that our front three were not effective against Man Utd defenders. For Hendo and Fabinho, I'm not surprised with their performance. These guys are not natural central backs so they fact that they kept Man Utd attacks at bay is a plus for me.

I had Liverpool to win on this one. It was a bias pick because I'm a fan. Haha.

Don't worry, I'm not worrying haha. I'm waiting for all that bad karma to accumulate and return to me in a magnificent 15/15 MM win. Haha.

Anyway, Liverpool toiling to no end against United, and Trent and Thiago actually probably the poorest players on the pitch (minus one good shot on goal that forced de Gea into a save). We only have two defenders on the pitch, who are arguably the worst defensive players in the league haha and they're not exactly giving good crosses in right now.

Turquinito now has 8 correct picks on sportsbet's leaderboard with 1 person having 9 . Ajax and Besiktas won so Turquinito should have 10 by now , lets just hope the person that have 9 dont end up having 11 right now. You know there is always that 1 person that end up having 1 point higher than everyone else and it sucks if this happened to Turquinito
