In this MM first time we have 3 games on Friday because mostly we have only 1 game and its happen just because of Premier League break due to FA games hopefully next time all will be ok and we have games on Saturday and Sunday.

Yeah, I get it of course. I played a few sports in my schooling days so I do follow them all (badminton and even takraw at some point, but did not continue these beyond hobbying once I was an adult). They're all cool, but football has a certain kind of tribality that's really... all-consuming;)

Yeah, the last time we had a predict-the-goals contest for this MM I went for an average of about 2.3 per game and I missed by one and that was a late flurry of 5 goals from the final game (I still recall it was Flamengo actually).

I went even lower for this thinking it might be fatigue and cup draws but we're already at 4.1 average, ouch!

Yeah, I tend to watch it because it's popular in Croatia, because I palyed it myself for 10+ years so have a good understanding of it and can therefore try and find odds that don't make sense or I think are placed incorrectly by the bookies.

Here are the entries with (still) big dreams for all participants:

We have 4 (!) games with full consensus this week: PSG, Bayern, Leicester and Atletico. And there is one game, where one brave user went against 20 others: Lazio. I doubt all these 5 games will go as "expected" and my guess is, that Lazio and/or Leicester will disappoint.

Other than that only a Wolfsburg and Betis win isn't covered. And we have a whopping 12 draws picked for Stoke - Watford, that must be a record; 10 draws for the Copa Sudamericana final is a lot also, our expert Turquinito probably influenced some of us with his insight and analysis Grin
