Sainz is replaced by Bearman now, I just got the Superbru notify, apparently surgery for appendicitis so expect him to be out at least one more race after this. Doing you all a nice favour by telling you to replace him if you've made your picks, too early in the season to be nasty, heh heh heh.

That makes two of us, I literally wouldn't have known if not for the SuperBRU notification, maybe I need find some website with real time information or pay better attention to this thread.
I read it was going to be Bearman's debut, so I couldn't trust him with the same level of trust I had for Carlos Sainz, I had Bearman to finish in lower position than I had initially placed Sainz to finish at.
I'm watching the Qualifying race live right, oh well, I never thought I would be doing this but it seems it going to be an all season long thing for me now.
I found out because of this thread too in the beginning,yet if you check the F1 social media pages like that of Instagram,you can get real time updates there and I found out that they were the first to have posted such news.I have gone for Verstappen again and so far things looking good with his absolute domination going to continue also in the second race.
The only challenger in this type of track I see Perez although Leclerc is there too so for tomorrow I am hoping for some Safety Car race changing events,and we witness a beautiful race,certainly this track permits everything I have written here and if the conditions don't remain normal we may see a different winner,otherwise as I said in normal conditions Max is going to have an easy win again.

Yeah, Sainz absence is quite big factor, but it's good that there is nothing very serious for him and he won't have to miss big part of season. Bearman isn't complete newbie to F1, he had some private testing with Ferrari last year and few Free Practice with Haas.Ultimately, I left Bearman in my line, just lower down the positions. Zhou had big crash in FP3 and impact was big, it's possible that Sauver won't be able to fix car until qualifying.

This can have an impact in our pool prediction as I am not at all convinced for this new guy to be able to repeat Sainz brilliant race of the last weekend,not because I am judging him without watching but only because of the lack of experience.
It would be interesting to see the results of the pool of this week as I am sure things will differ a lot from last race just because of this change.

I cant believe what im hearing about that case, its incredible how shit of person is Josh Verstappen making all this drama when his son is winning easily thanks to RB, pathetic and a giant EGO.
Had to Google this, for some reason this completely flew by my radar (which is strange since I'm in NL and I get pushed a hell lot of Verstappen news). I never liked it when football players' parents somehow became involved in the news, it's worse there because you've got a whole club sentiment that could get affected but not sure if it's the same impact in F1.
Just can't stand circuses.
Not affecting son's performance, though. Fastest in practice today. Surprise, surprise.

As long as Red Bull don't have any mechanical failure during races this season they have a car that can win 24 out of all the 24 races. After leaving the last season behind it is really annoying to see this picture once again. I'm wondering the performance Hamilton will show in his last year with Mercedes very much. Besides the Leclerc-Sainz competition is also quite likely to be fiery.
The Formula 1 cars have all been very reliable in recent years (Ferrari was a small exception), especially RedBull and Mercedes. Hamilton disappointed me in the first race and I'm curious to see if he can improve. Unfortunately, the victories will probably all go to RedBull again this year, at least that's what it looks like. Perez is certainly stronger again than last year at the end of the season, but he's also racing for a cockpit place for the next season.

Man I so wish I listened to myself. With price boost this could have been something like 3.3x. And it was the easiest bet to make the whole race. Fastest lap? Duh. Pole? Duh. Win? Duh.

Good start for me in the pool, did not expect it TBH. Most of this for me is pure guesswork.
I do follow some of it, but not nearly like most of you guys here.
Ferrari has started better than Mercedes, that will probably be the most interesting battle of the season because Red Bulls look too fast for everybody else once again.
