Is there any chance for anyone to take down Slissy from first place in upcoming Abu Dhabi last race?
4 point difference is a lot in Formula 1 pool but lets wait and see who are local pool champion is going to be.
I think I am done in this season, lower mid table is best I could so, and I just wish to finish above Mafia in the end, only 2 point differnce  Grin

I agree that 4 points is a really big difference. Unless there is a big surprise it doesn't look like Slissy is losing his lead in the leaderboard. Smiley I managed to gain one position and entered top 10 finally after the Qatar Grand Prix. But it looks really difficult for me to do better than that. I'm going to try to do better in next season's pool. The final race of the season is at this weekend and let's just enjoy it. It will be lovely to watch the last Ferrari - McLaren fight for the championship.

FIA Is a joke they are fulfilling every Max whining out there and this race was a shame in this context, normally ten seconds is enough as a penalty for not slowing down yet they went ahead and made it 35 seconds as that is the real time lost when you stop 10 seconds for nothing in the pit stop. Not that it matter anymore but this race stewards and race director here sucked big time and it showed how incompetent they are, exactly as you say they were the sole responsible at fault for not realizing immediately the Safety Car but letting those carbon little pieces get in the tires of Hamilton and Sainz.
I don't agree with you. Stop/go penalty isn't something new what wasn't used for similar cases before. Though, I tend to think that drive-through penalty would be enough as it wasn't most dangerous situation. It wasn't crash scene after all, just some debris on track.
But I wouldn't say that FIA fulfilling every Max complaint. After all, on the same GP he was penalised basically for nothing and lost pole.
Stewards decisions always cause lotvof discussion. I wish they would be more consistent with it and wouldn't raise so many questions with it.

@slaman29 Congratulations in a season of gifts it feels good to have a FB...

In the final week of this group... not everything is written in the Pool, but just like F1, only the "constructors' championship" is missing in the individual positions for the Top10... But! it seems there are no surprises...

Congrats to slaman29 for the yellow cap of the week.

Thank you, thank you Smiley Now I jump up a massive few places to Position 19 lol

A small good news for me for sure, after a hellish week in BSFL where its now make or break.

Definitely didn't expect to see this results, kinda dumb result from Lando Norris so he will probably get a lot of yelling but a good day for Constructors so it ensures we can enjoy 1 more race with a possible upset happening. Great stuff all around Smiley

That was such eventful race - so many accidents and penalties. Verstappen had great start and then being ahead of all action let him to achieve another win. I don't argue about penalties. It was harsh on Norris, but right. But there is one place where FIA failed - they released safety car too late when there was debris on track when race for Hamilton and Sainz were already ruined.
Happy for Zhou who delivered first points this season for Sauber..
Andwith 1 race remaining fight for constructors trophy isn't closed - 21 point between Mclaren and Ferrari.

For the pool though I guess I am safe at 5th place with a try to the 4th in the last race, highly unlikely but who knows, we don't know what to expect from this Verstappen guy and this last track is wonderful regarding racing, plenty of places to overtake much different than this one.

Congrats to slaman29 for the yellow cap of the week.

Well after a horrendous race I managed to keep the 5th place with the same points difference for the last race and don't care what happens there now as I doubt someone can do 8 points more than me in a race unless they go for huge surprises which I don't think they do as they have other people fighting for that place also. Damn this Piastri is not capable at all, not capable at all as a driver, he cannot be competed with Norris both in qualifying and racing, he was only good in ruining races for Norris like he did at Monza and no I won't forget that  Grin this guy needs to be learning to be much aggressive as a driver, he brutally lacks aggressiveness and he cannot win any Championship if he does not improve on this.

The sprint race has just finished and McLaren had a great session. The way they passed the finish line was really interesting though. Norris let Piastri pass while Russell was right behind.
......
Aha!
Fk! I don't know about other sports, but in the betting industry it would have a mega investigation... Apparently it doesn't go that far, but it takes away legitimacy from the sport, second time it happens... "Let's be serious".

Max got a bit unexpected pole. It's still not 100% confirmed, as stewards still investigate, but I don't see that Max did something wrong, as Russel wasn't on his fast lap.
BTW, there was ridiculous moment in Sprint race when Perez missed start starting from pit lane and lost position to Colapinto. I'm just wondering what's wrong with this guy?

What was that??? Im refering on that movement made by Norris letting pass Piastri to be Piastri 1 and him 2. doesnt have any sense at all. It was 15 points in both cases, and the drivers championship is closed.

Also Norris needs more the points to be the sub champion.
Yeah, it was strange move, especially when team told Norris not to do it. It doesn't looks good when race winner is decided in such way.

But this makes sense considering team points are more important in the remaining races. They will have to do their best to stay ahead of Ferrari and secure the constructor title.

Ferrari was really disappointing.  Sad  They didn't look like they would do good in normal race length either. I'm losing my faith in their becoming champions this season...

That it was in case it was needed in the race of tomorrow if Piastri was ahead of him and to let Lando win because as you say he needs to be second in the Championship. I am very sorry that did not bet on Verstappen to win the qualifying with an odd of 12 or 17 don't remember now but where the f*ck did Redbull found that pace when it was clear in the race pace in Sprint race they were really really struggling with keeping up and barely managed to pass an Alpine car, very strange to say the least.

I f*cked up as I have Norris to win and Piastri second tomorrow but don't care whatever happens happens, I am keeping my choices which again are not very good placed for the race start tomorrow on the grid, let's see though, in this track it is easy to make mistakes.

Is superhard this pool, not only because the F1 itself is dificult to predict (so many factors can change the way of the race), but also because the way of Superbru use to point it and how difficult is also to cut out points against yours opponents.

Right now, 6th place is back in my hands after being there almost all year, I lost two places in Brazil but I got them back in Las Vegas, there are two "teams" (users) just 0.5 points away... 9th and 10th are there, but it's another story, even those two (9-10) are fighting... I think that with two races to go in the championship, half a point is significant... 1 even, but beyond that I don't think it's a problem to keep... despite the variance in the race positions, which in the long run is being seen in the 8th-9th-10th places on Gran Prixs.

Where, by the way, Gasly, Nico and Lawson were placed, I don't know what Lawson is doing there Wink

I hope his choices work, it's worth saying in advance that surely just as MV was crowned champion, I think that this race could sentence the champion of our Pool...

I think McLaren got what they wanted from the sprint qualifying today. Because they finished the session ahead of Ferrari with both of their cars. If they don't have a bad sprint race Ferrari's job will be even more difficult when it comes to being constructors champions. Sad Sprint race and qualifying are going to be on the same day which is tomorrow. I think this is good news as we will have an exciting day. We are likely to watch a nice competition between Ferrari and McLaren at the weekend.

Not much what to say about Sprint qualifying. Norris takes pole, Russel is 2nd, Piastri 3rd. Nothing new with Perez getting eliminated after Q1. It just would be interesting other driver racing with this car to see actual pace. Is it really that bad or it's all about Perez.

Yeah, I'm stuck in 10th place for almost whole season, It's really hard to go up or down as with current scoring system most of us score similar number of points each round.

The free practice showed Ferrari dominating while in the qualifying for the Sprint race tomorrow McLaren and Mercedes did much better. I don't know how to read this though, not a good motivation from McLaren or Mercedes during the free practice most likely, however as I said the true form of the power of the car can be seen only in tomorrow Sprint race. For example in the last Sprint race in Texas it was easy to spot that Ferrari was going to win and so I am waiting for the Sprint race to finish tomorrow before making my picks as these picks are very important for the people in prize spots.
