Texas looked better in this series, but last night was a bit trickyy final result doesn't reflect what happened throughout the match

congrats to Texas as well, does anyone know what were odds on them before season to win it?
it is always nice to see new team reaching the title, and this one is first for Texas, correct me if wrong

Also, I didn't know this but it's also their maiden WS -- I'll be on the lookout now for pre-season odds on the remaining teams (Seattle, Milwaukee, San Diego, Colorado, Tampa Bay) who've never won it before, or is that wishful thinking?

Looking at stats without even understanding, Tampa Bay looked really impressive just shy of 100 wins in the season (Rangers only had 90, Arizona only 84!). BoSox always gets my nostalgic pick, they're getting a new manager yeah?

Eventhough I had a bet on Arizona, I decided to pick Texas to win before the final series on BSFL Roll Eyes

. I guess its a good way to hedge huh and considering that you are an expert in MLB also picked the same answers, puts me at ease Tongue

. For some reason I cant login onto the site ( ever since they changed the login page, its just getting harder to login for me as I kept getting logged out for some reason ), I would love to bet on the money line odds on sportsbet for this and get that super boost odds

I noticed that today's MOTD would be the Diamondbacks vs Rangers and caught the markets with only a few minutes left before it gets taken down.

I had to back the Diamondbacks here as they field Pfaadt, who looked impressive during his start against the Phillies. Hopefully, the over won't ruin the ticket as this series might be due for an under after going over in the last two matches.

I think that as I mentioned before, you just have to enjoy the bet from the point of view of the probabilities, so already beaten in the Playoffs as a fan of my favorite teams, now it is better, and after several clicks at @1.55 and @2.34 (my indecisions below) I'm going to play it safe and go game by game.

So, for Friday's game and since we are close to Halloween I'm going to Texas Rangers, but because the gods of probability dictate it that way.

Im going with different approach for this then, picking Arizona Diamondbacks to win just because Im abit salty with Texas Rangers after they knocked out Houston Astros Tongue

The Astros couldn't win American League, they fell by the wayside, I was comfortable with Los Angeles, Atlanta, nothing, and! now I have the Phillies left, by default, lol.
Anyway, a final without the "emotion" of some of my favorites, but it is world series, always regardless of the teams, there are 4 good games to watch, and with the idea of watching a seventh game that is decided in the 9th inning, 2 outs, bases loaded...

So, as said the above; something from my losing streak, in-play:

I decided to bet on the Phillies win, in-play: 2x1 - @1.30, 5th inning...

Arizona now wins 3x2, 6th inning, at least they give me @2.48...

And as they say around somewhere on the planet: " you have to die with your boots on"

For some reason, today I checked on this thread and decided to check the results for Houston Astros only to find that they have lost after getting into semifinals. Well not too bad for me I guess, my first experience placing outright bet on a sport that I barely knew about

I also took the Orioles to win, but mine is for the entire series @1.96. The Orioles probably won't mind if the Rangers keep their momentum rolling after their WC win against the Rays since they tend to thrive under pressure.

And for the other side of the bracket, I might add the Dodgers tomorrow once my price boost refreshes and i'm staying away from the Braves vs. Phillies when there's a possibility for an upset.

Come on, there are sports that only need fans and in the United States there are them for any type of sport, whether the rest of the world follows them or not, they really don't care.

In particular, MLB Baseball is a special, rare, nostalgic, family, generational sport, it must be that unique sport where sometimes you follow it because yes, even if you don't like it ... but something in your childhood due to influence " familiar "or" moment "leads you to follow a certain team.

I have to say that definitely betting 6 months in advance is the best example of the difference between fan and gambler.

Yeah, fire and forget. If you lose it, it's forgotten by the end of season anyway. If you win it, nice bonus to end the season (that's how I always see these outrights!).
