Today I was able to take advantage of that 10% option in five minutes for winning spins, it was not with one of my "preferred" providers, the promotion was that one, but anyway, it seems that I did not take the best game, in any case an interesting "boosted" type promotion that we like so much but in sports betting.
I doubt he "accepted his defeat" and that's why he retired. That's actually against the rules. If you are fit to play you must show your best trying to win. If they give you a "lack of effort" penalty you can lose ranking points, price money and so on. This happened in the past and the player in question then had accusations of fixing games.
Actually, this is something I've never quite known. I know it's sportsmanship but is there an actual rule about it?
I know for sure, there have been questions in the past with players faking injury (mild accusations and suggestions rather than anything else) but I thought you could retire as long as you gave a valid reason. "Too painful to continue" is good enough I think. You might get boos for tantrum retirement, but doubt you get penalised. Many have done this. Many players retire or withdraw as a professional choice -- perhaps they're eyeing a bigger tournament and don't want to aggravate something minor. The fixing accusations only arise when retiring player is about to win a match I think.

Something Fedex never did, by the way (but he himself said he retired once, but nobody knew which it was). Injury or not, ill or not, he finished a match to give his opponent the highest honour of winning a proper game. And gave paying fans their ticket's worth.

Steve already PMed me and discuss about how void bets on tennis works and I fully understand it now. Steve gave me another free bet since he think that I'm active on posting in this thread, also if the freebet is voided, it's not refundable its like consider as lost.
I'm fine with this now, at least I was given another freebet by Sportsbet.io/Steve and thanks to them, I got another one.
I'll now avoid betting my free bet on tennis. I learned a lot from this experience. Lol.

So every retirement is basically due to medical reasons. It's a common practice for sports books to void bets like this. Only bets where no other result is possible mostly get graded. Mostly that's like under/over bets where no other result than over is possible, even if the over is not reached yet, and so on.
Some books have/had a rule that there is no void after the first set is completed, but that's quite rare. Maybe next time your player is losing and retires and you get your money back. It all evens out in the long run.

Wow you got 7 so far when Arsenal and Newcastle lost? 250$ is not a bad amount to take at all for sure, in my situation when even $25 is a great amount, I would take it in a moment notice.
Like you said, this last match is way too open, even the odds say a lot about that. I think Crystal Palace would be my choice (I won't say what is my pick hehe) but these days very few teams are the same as last season.
