regarding my performance this round, it is really miserable
didn't pick favorites, expected some turnarounds, but late goal for Barca from penalty spot is what this round was for me, simply unlucky

expected more from Sevilla, didn't saw Girona continuing their strike, and overall had to go back to drawing board and try to catch up a bit

This was best game that I saw this season. Just crazy! And that Martin goal which Girona was cherry on top. How many Atletico players were around him? Maybe 4 and he still scored somehow.
Best attack in league and very average defense and it makes Girona games so interesting to watch. And yeah, live bet on Atletico made sense, as it really looked that they can win this.

Didn't watch but I agree on stats. First half was very even, and score should have been 3-3 for not VAR or 4 goals for Morata, but 2nd half belonged to Simeone's team for sure, Girona keeper made 8 saves!! So I think even Atletico win was fair outcome but draw is most balanced. Bookies made Girona the favorite but I guess they know about good finishing while Atletico still getting used to letting in many goals.

Great first half so far, shame it's 3-2 as Morata had an injury time goal chalked off for offside or he'd have a hattrick. I did a Betbuilder on this with a freebet, easy BTTS like Trofo said, and nice to see both artem and lvaro on 11 goals apiece now.

Still need Dovbyk and Griezmann to have a shot each, a Girona woodwork and just need them to equal their 1st Halfpasses for it to pass. Oh and I do need Atleti to win haha.

Does anyone notice for Betbuilders now, some markets actually reduce the overall odds? I tried going over 2.5 goals and even over 19.5 booking points each and odds went down.

It's crazy how I'm burning my money in 2024, losing almost all my bets this year. And main reason why is La Liga results this round.
At least Girona - Atletico BTTS after 14 minutes is some positive for me, but odds weren't high barely covers my previous losses.
Girona just scored another goal and leading 2:1, but I need draw in this game, not just for pool, but for BSFL cup too.

yeah, it is not often to see that no one made even a point in two matches
but Valencia seems to play as expected, and we will see points there, as it looks now, it is just a question will those be given for a win, over Villareal will get to draw in the end

What a freaking crazy results in La Liga today Tongue

First Getafe easily lost at home against Rayo Vallecano and they earn two red cards, and now Real Sociedad almost lost from Alaves, goal in stoppage time saved them.
Maybe we are going to see more surprise results in first round of 2024 but I have no crystal ball to predict them.

I bet with a handicap all the time but Barcelona is the worst choice for this in my opinion. They win almost all their games (if they win) with a minimum score and it all looks very doubtful. By the way, now I checked the statistics - for the entire season in all tournaments (including the games with Antwerp), Barcelona was able to win by more than one goal in only three games (the last of which was in mid-September). So a handicap of -2 goals would be appropriate with odds of 3 or even 4, but not 2.05. Even against a clear outsider this is too little, the value was on the other side.

Meanwhile, the standings are returning to normal, Girona expectedly lost points (I guessed the exact score 1-1), and Real Madrid, despite unexpected problems, took three points. It's funny, but here's what I noticed:

Barcelona Fc 8.33

Atlético Madrid 12.74

It turns out that after a round where Barcelona won and Girona lost 2 points, Barcelona’s quotes fell and Girona rose:

As much as I like Girona, I don't believe that they can win title, I doubt that depth and quality of their squad is enough to fight with Real. But their chances to get into Champions league is great. It's incredible what transition they made in few years. IIRC, it's just their second season after return to La Liga. I actually started to like them before it was cool. Followed them a bit when they played in Segunda and was really sad when they lost promotion playoff final few years ago.
