Is anyone else getting more and more annoyed with Superbru's delay un updating? I know I shouldn't be since nothing changes anything but I usually like to check to see if my exacts helped me jump up or if I just did average.

There are a lot of injury problems for top teams in La Liga, so better consider that before making any predictions.I hoped for a tight win for Barcelona but Rayo Vallecano is tough nut to crack and they only lost from Girona since September.

And it happened. Barca dropped points against Rayo. 0.52 xG of Brcelona summarizes game very well, Barcelona attacks weren't dangerous. Most part of game it looked that they're just passing ball in the middle without attempting to play more aggressive. Not first time this season, but previously most of such games had lucky outcome.Gavi injury is such painful loss. And fact that he got it in completely meaningless international game makes me angry. Now Barca lost him for rest part of season and very likely that he will miss EURO too.
Valencia continue to be typical Valencia. Now they failed to beat Celta at home and game ended 0:0. But for Celta this away draw doesn't give much joy as they stay in relegation zone and things doesn't looks bright for them. Poor Benitez...

We get a rather dull (on paper) affair to kick off La Liga this weekend, I shot myself in the foot by picking Villareal in midweek cup action to acca my freebets on Liverpool (they progressed but only after extra time) so I am left with only a few more Liverpool bets haha.

Girona continues to win and play crazy good even when they miss players, so they will probably play in Champions League next season believe it or not.
I expected them to draw today against Rayo Vallecano, but they are unstoppable and odds on them are amazing.
They scored more goals than all other teams, they have most wins, they have best away stats, this is dream season for Girona.

we didn't won in Madrid since David Villa time at Valencia, and that was long time ago
but there is always next time, so maybe it will be this weekend, form is going upward and Baraja is doing good job having in mind finances and team
not sure about Celta, Almeria and Granada are really below La Liga quality, and Celta is just above them on the table, not a good spot for them

I didn't remember that exact detail but I definitely know it was long long ago. I know Real has Bellingham but sometime that will dry up and while I never trust Sevilla or Valencia these days as favorites I'm happy to try their luck as upsets

So guys La Liga once more. Can Celta Vigo break their streak and finally win or are the Basques at home too strong for them? I think this time they won't leave it to chance and finish them off early. Hence my bets include them.

I was so close to getting the yellow cap this round, was in first place before the last game of the round, unfortunately i picked a draw between Getafe and Cadiz, which was close to hitting but Getafe managed to get the win with only 10 players. Ah well at least i had a good round overall which helped me a lot to move up the rankings, hopefully it keeps going that way and eventually getting a yellow cap.

Yeah, this week was pretty good for me. I see that Omikifuse failed to submit his answers so jeremypwr climbed to the first place and I'm just one point behind the second place. I hope I will win some more points in the four remaining games.
That's really really rare in Superbru pools actually as we've been playing for so long and you can even put picks in way ahead of time but this is a great reminder to anyone giving up that things like this can push you way up.
Anyway, I'm in bottom table now officially, and losing hope but always optimistic. Barca were the big winners this week despite a bad game so I can't complain

It is going to be a long season but you have a good chance to stay in top places in leaderboard.This was not so great week for me in La Liga with only one exact score, and biggest surprise for me was Real Madrid vs Rayo Vallecano draw.
I expected to see lot of goals in this match, but I have to give credits to Rayo Vallecano, they are doing fantastic things in last few rounds and they somehow managed to resist all Real attacks today.

If anyone needs to remember that it's not just Klopp and others in the EPL incensed at VAR, just look at La Liga and poor Celta Vigo. After losing to Las Palmas (hey at least they beat Atletico too) after VAR overturned a goal the ref gaves, Iago Adpas apparently overturned a VAR monitor when VAR overturned a last-min penalty the ref awarded against Sevilla.
Poor Benitez. He must be looking back at Valencia days. End of an era.
Didn't saw this game, watching highlights now. Not really sure about penalty, tricky moment, but I feel sorry for Benitez, such difficult season for him and I don't want to see him getting sacked. But still, difficult to find league where VAR is more contraversial than in EPL. Like yesterday's Newcastle goal - WTF was that, how ball wasn't out of pitch?Poor Benitez. Yesterday it was one of worst Barca games for a while, Sociedad dominated completely for 85 minutes and it looked like they're playing 2nd division team. But for Barca it was enough to play good last 5 minutes to achieve complete not deserved win. What a perfect pass by Gundogan.

Happy in BSFL and happy in La Liga. I'm jealous of you this week man I even dropped more places in Superbru pool so this week is making me feel totally amateur.
