Slava Ukraini!
So, I was just 1 point away from 6th place, damn. Needed one more goal from Barcelona to get exact score and that my opponent wouldn't get it. At least got shared prize for highest yellow cap. Congrats to all guys who ended in prize spots and winner @jeremypwr who didn't left chance for anyone
Few words about last round. It's impressive how Dovbyk took top scorer title from Sorloth by scoring hattrick on last round. And Almeria said goodbye to La Liga in style by winning 6:1 against Cadiz.
Trofo and Sportsbet, thank you for another season!

@KTChampions Something needs to change, this is drama football, like a soap opera, when we need to play football again. But it's not about Xavi, or Flick. It's about the top.

When I look at Barcelona from afar (in the sense of not just one season, but several), they remind me of United (and Bayern is now also following a parallel course like Barcelona, but with a lag of a couple of years). The clubs (Barcelona and Bayern) really need changes, and not at the level of coaches, but at the level of management/business model (to be honest, I can’t say exactly what is needed specifically), I saw how United was slowly sliding into nowhere and all this was accompanied by some kind of scandals vanity and nonsense and now the same thing is happening with Barcelona/Bavaria.
I don’t even know what the roots of these processes are. Maybe bureaucracy (and therefore corruption) in management? But Real does better under the same conditions. Maybe it's a matter of personalities? Well then, taking into account Laporta’s many years of work at the club, we should blame him first of all.
In general, I don’t know anything, but the naked eye can see which clubs are developing and which are in a downtrend.

Yes, it is one big soap opera as I can remember, the last time we were truly together as a family was during MSN times. And not to discredit Laporta but him leaving was actually good, then somehow as soon as Neymar left, it started to fall apart not because of the player but just the way finances and the club getting run, and then the Suarez exit was the biggest sign of what kind of club we were becoming. Then Laporta comes back. Then Messi shameful exit.

It is not easy for exact problem solving but I think first, you cannot have a politician and a lawyer also leading the club. That means 3 jobs, and each will be crossing over and sacrificing, of course the football club is the one that gives up the most. That's why our club paid corruption fees and bribes, because you had politician leading the club, and you have politician leading Spanish refereeing!! I like Spain and La Liga but this mixing of politics with football is the worse MF shit thing in the world.

Bayern issues are corruption and scandal too, true, and Manchester United from the start was owners who use the club as a business purely for profit and banking. But no way same the kind of scandal Barcelona are in.

Real Madrid president also problematic but at least he is not in Spanish politics. He's a businessman, that's normal Smiley And so he knows how to run Real's finances, very good!

Barca has some same issues at the surface. Players with "power" and high wages. The easiest to fix is finance. If you are a millionaire and you become bankrupt, you cannot say I want to continue eating steak every day, you must learn to eat rice lol so we need to stop hiring Lewandowskis we must focus on youth, fix our finances. Politicians make the worst financial managers. Hence our situation.

Can't really explain why but I think Flick is a terrible option for Barca. I admit I don't know a lot about him but he strikes me as a solid manager and nothing more, there is hundreds of those around. Then he is German and he is used to working in properly regulated clubs with healthy finances, Barca couldn't be further from that. Seems to me like a punt destined to fail. And to make it worse you burned Xavi, who is Barca personified.

So happy, haha. Most of the Bayern fans (me included) are really happy that Flick is moving to Barca now. There was a lot of chatter in the past weeks, that he might return to Bayern. And I don't know anyone who would have liked that. Even though we won the CL 2020 together.

I'm quite curious to see how long he can last in Barcelona. 1-2 seasons max? I guess.  Cheesy

Sorry to disappoint you, but Xavi just got sacked. You guys get Flick now. I'm not sure what to make of it, heh. Your Laporta guy sounds like he's off a screw or two. But they don't deserve Xavi, I think this is the best thing for both parties. Hang in there, trust in your youth.
This organisation turned into such joke. First Laporta asks Xavi to stay and when he already decided to stay, they sack him. Can it be just because he critisized club a bit, that would be ridiculous.
Flick, he doesn't looks like a bad opion, but if club will continue to behave in such way, even Pep or Klopp wouldn't help.

Fuuuukkk yes I found out too, what a terrible jinx, to mention it and they he gets sacked on the day.

I am very close to giving up on my own club to be honest guys. It's not about their football or the way they are. I love the players and the fans but the owners and the way the club is run, it's like if we don't do anything about it, it's gonna get worse. I remember the Glazers caused the most loyal United fans to breakaway, and I think Barca is going down the same route.

Isn't this what Barca needs now? Calm, normal work without bickering or drama. Another question is that Flick will not perform a miracle and, conditionally, Barça will only fight for second place and side titles such as the Spanish Cup. I don’t think that Flick will be given some unrealistic task like winning the Champions League or La Liga without the appropriate resources. Accordingly, if adequate tasks are set before him, he will not fail.

I don't really care what happens in the next game for us, it's meaningless already. But I really hope we decide once and for all if Xavi is staying. I can't stand anymore how these guys just keep playing with the fans hearts.

Lewandowski said an important point, we must start to win, and play our style, but at the same time, I think we need more stability. People were complaining when we did 1-0 1-0 1-0 wins, but it brought us the title, right? Concede 20 goals win title by 10 points, concede 43 this season, second place by 12 points. I think this is modern game, we need to fix our defence first, and stability.

Nice gesture from you buwa and Saints will love that if they qualify for Premier League  Grin
I didnt have much luck with La Liga this season but that one time 20 point luck saved me from total disaster of my tipster reputation.
Next round in La Liga looks boring to me, everything is resolved and there is no way to see important changes in table positions, that makes it very hard for prediction.

Ah, I see I've just got my freebets, so I've used them up already. Thank you Sportsbet and jeremypwr for all the opportunities! Sadly, the expiry date on these freebets are pretty strict by now, so the playoff happens on 26th, and I am unable to use it on that nor even on La Liga.

Europa final, some Serie A, and random Brazil cup games it is for me Wink

I'll throw regular money on upsets if they're worth 10/1 +. You never know with these meaningless games eh?

1 more game, but the 5th spot is too far away I think to get, need 8 points gap.
6 places are getting a prize, so you only need 3.5 points to get into the money. You still have a good chance if you make correct picks, enough to catch up.
Good luck to you!
3rd to 6th spots are very tight also and can change depending on the last round, which makes it very exciting.
Can't wait for the last round!! Good luck all.

Oh, I didn't know there was a 6th spot, I was following the Serie A table but you're right La Liga has 6 spots, so I still have something to fight ofr.

The 60 mbtc reward is so crazy big, jeremypwr will have a tough choice defending that balance from betting Wink

Last round coming, Atletico Madrid is the biggest banana skin of them all, they are now even not the favorite in the final game, what the hell happened here?

If I get the freebet in time, I'll make sure it goes into the Leeds/Saints playoff final in honour of your love for EFL. And then top it off with an acca on La Liga final day (if it all lands within 3 days, that is). I like these pools, really. Where else can you get a consolation prize every week practically worth your buy-in fee?

Congrats!
It is very nice to see my man buwaytress winning yellow cap this round, and I was not that far behind him.
Four members had exact same 11.5 points like him, and I had 10.5 that moved me up by one position.
One more round left in La Liga and last chance for someone to break the record of 20 points  Grin

4 yellow caps wow! Not bad at all guys Smiley

I have the same reaction as @LTU_btc, shaking my head at Atletico, how do you lose such a big score, and to Osasuna of all people, I would never pick that result in 100 times. Real 4 goals and Villareal popping up with their own magic, I guess Real players didn't really care huh Smiley
