Difficult game as expected, but in the end only team which are happy about result is Real. From Barca players behaviour it didn't looked like they are playing most important game of season. In first half Atletico were better, in second half Barca improved their game a bit, but it wasn't enough to score and win game.
After this game, that loss against Granada is still in my eyes. If we won't win league this season, that game will stuck in my memory for long.

Yeah, I was also surprised to see that there is no faith in Atletico here, Well, I'm Barca fan really, so I can't act different than I did Cheesy

. But after all, we got just 1 point from 12 possible playing against Real and Atletico this season. It would be something amazing if we will win league with such result.

P.S. It's my 8000th post here on Bitcointalk, but it's not most fun way to reach such achievement :/

Went ok for me, I only had 1x on Barca in one local bookie where I need to play 6 games multi for big boost so I needed a sure 6th game. 5 games are in the bag still waiting for Ruud this evening.

I put Sevilla supporter next to my name for this season but truth be told I just want to watch top football and usually I lean a bit more to Barca side then to Real but that is mostly because Mourinho ruined Real for me.

the reason why Real are still behind the league leaders in the table even though they've been dropping points left and right in the second half of the season is because we've also wasted tons of chances to capitalize on the other two pooping the bed, so getting the 3 pts tomorrow? hopefully, but i wouldn't hold my breath (i'm prolly being pessimistic cos of the game vs. chelsea the other day)

although the match finished without goals, there were a lot of football and chances today
actually, I did not put anything on Atletico today, and even put Barca win in the pool, but would not mind to see Atletico on the top, now that Sevilla is out from the race
Real can use this draw tomorrow, and I am pretty sure they will do just that and climb to the top, we have interesting week in front of us, with three rounds within it, and than the final matchday in 14 days, now that Sevilla is out, I do not have preference for the champion, so it will nice to watch

just hoping that Valencia will took two-three points in these four matches, to secure themselves from relegation, tough times (a year) that started in Bergamo quarter-final last March, just before Covid, hopefully next season will be better

Sorry slaman but I'm kind of with Trofo here. Don't get me wrong, the league doesn't lie in the end, but Real and Barca have been such pale versions of themselves that others have somehow managed to top them but the cream always rises to the top.

And the way they keep playing, totally unsustainable, and psychologically just negative that you get frustrated watching them.

That said, I did bet on Atletico today for the value... The draw benefits Real the most so we can expect them to take full advantage. Wasted chance for both teams today. Bleh.

Atletico deserves nothing, I wouldn't mind seeing them relegated

I watched a couple of their games and I simply can't stand them. How can you play total defense against teams like Elche and huesca? I don't mind them defending against Barca and Real but they should try and play against every other team in the league. I am usually for underdogs but Atletico is the definition of anti football for me.

I am sorry Sevilla missed a step in title race, but I hope they will still be good against Real. This week could be the one to break the title race. Don't forget to make you picks guys. First game starts in just a couple of hours.

I was really hoping Real would go to UCL final but I guess now we have a really hot competition in La Liga with all teams nothing left to fight for:) Tonight's game won't have any impact on us but I'm already feeling a lot of chills for the crunch match with Atletico.

Next week should be the one to clear some stuff up. I am expecting Barca to win against Atletico, than Sevilla should get at least a draw against tired Real side. Real has CL game during the week and that could very easy go to extra time. If I was placing a bet on the La Liga winner my money would still be on Barca. They have ok form, no distractions and easy schedule after this encounter with Atletico.

Very difficult, nervous, but such important win. Honestly, after 1st half I thought that our title race come to the end. These feelings become even stronger after Paulista goal.
But then Barca wake up. Now I just don't understand what I thought when I made under 3.5 goals bet on this game. When you look at H2H results, it doesn't happens that often.
Next round can be decisive in league. Barca will face Atletico, while Real will play against Sevilla. Lot of questions may be answered there, already can't wait for next weekend.

we had some good matches with Barca at home, but tonight we are miserable on our own stadium, cannot pass through into Barca half, it is really sorrow to watch Valencia tonight on Mestalla, hoped for Real experience (4:1 from November 2020) from the first part of the season, but Barca would win easily tonight in the end

What a wasted opportunity... It's difficult to comment something about game, but shit happens sometimes. It's pity to lose against team like Granada, especially when they are missing many important players. But everything is still in our hands.
Nobody aren't talking about it, but Sevilla is also in the race for title, I think they're hottest team in the league. I can't remember any season when there was 4 teams fighting for title just few rounds before end of season.

It's my favourite part of football, too. The cruelty with which your team can rise all the way to the top by killing giants, and then have it all taken away in the end... or by rolling on undefeated for seasons long and then fall into a patch and lose against derby rivals for the first time in decades (lol Everton).

And of course, I totally love that underdogs in football get 20+ odds as soon as the favourites start getting overhyped. Just need to hit a few of them a season to make it profitable haha.

I made 2 underdog picks today. Granada and Roma (6/1, which actually climbed to 7/1!). So it seems we are on opposite ends of this game! United just equalised so all is safe so far;)

That's not the first time Granada or any underdog won converting their goals with their only shots! I know because Liverpool is this season on the receiving end of that ha ha sobs ha ha.

Thank you very much, indeed I took the bet, it was just a little over 22/1, it does remind me of Granada early season and last when they gave me superb wins. Unfortunately, I'd predicted a full-blown 3-0 in our little pool, so I remain well outside the Top 5, with 5 games to go haha. Nice yellow cap Trofo buddy, but I don't mind at all celebrating this upset with, as casper said, only 2 shots on goal.

Ah yes. The trials and travails of the fan who also bets on his team. I sometimes look back on my younger days watching local football (can you imagine not even realising there was football outside, I thought World Cup was the only foreign football there was!) and wonder if I had access to betting what kind of money I'd have thrown away on my team (relegated to the lowest tier, disbanded and rebranded twice since I last watched them).
