Marca speculates four clubs, City, United, PSG and joining Ronaldo in Juventus (must say that neither is making sense from my side, Premier is not for him (he is just too old to play there), PSG is really just for money (do not see him that way), and joining Ronaldo does not seem realistic, although interesting possibility)

there is not much of a choice if he is pay-chasing, otherwise he could decide to finish in Boca for example (maybe it is soon, but he is 34 after all)

It also helps down the road when I have to pay out the prizes. When you have transaction with 20 inputs and 5 outputs those fees quickly get quite high. I know I can consolidate those inputs but I sort of avoided doing that for the pools. This way anybody can check the addresses and all inputs very easy. Shouldn't be hard even after consolidation but this way I keep max transparency and I have every input marked down in electrum with the name of the user that paid.

I never think about BTC fees when I am just sending simple tx with 1 input and 1 output.

yeah, i've sent a few tx this week with an average of 2-4 sats (i usually avoid using 1sat/byte) and they all got confirmed in less than 30 min. As LoyceV would say, perfect time to consolidate your small inputs 

could not help it to think that we are overthinking fees at the moment, with 1sat/byte you can send transaction within few blocks


it was an issue in January/February, but last two months are really bringing BTC fees down, and I have send my entry fees for $0.09 with an automated mobile wallet (that do not have many options to adjust fees - expect slow, medium, fast transaction), it seems that $0.09 is not worth thinking about fees, but maybe I am wrong

Sportsbet has lowered the minimum withdraw amount to 1 mBTC; so there shouldn't be any issues with fees

I think that it is best to have more markets from a single match, but it would be good not to have Barca/Real each round, do others as well (Valencia would be nice)
nevertheless, would skip BTS, does reveal a bit about score, maybe even under/over goals, first sub side is maybe better (first team to make sub/draw if halftime)

These side coemptions take some work but I decided to do them in order to add little bit more spice/interaction to our community. This pools should be about community foremost and I believe they serve their purpose.

It will be one competition for both pools together which means we are talking 20 games each week. I see no problem of making public our pick for one or two games in this format. I will be choosing top derby that week. Still considering if it should be one game with more markets or two games with just main markets. I will then keep the same format for whole season and just change games every week.

My 2 cents ... I think it would be more expedient to opt for the weekly Superbu statistics. The thing is that most of us will participate in three pools of predictions and so that this hobby does not take too much time, I think we should limit ourselves to only standard practice. ^{[Although I have no objection if Trofo has time for this]}

in Copa we wanted to try different competitions every matchday but that one was a short tourney. This time is 38 games 😨

i say we stick to one single format for the whole season, a format that doesn't reveal most of your weekly pool predictions (exact score, 1X2 result, or number of goals). Something like a SB multi master with goal scorers perhaps? or a betbuilder like 'team to score 1st goal + X + Y' in one random game every matchweek...what do you think, Mr. Trofo? anyone?

I want to add that my question was related to the fact that I had never withdrawn such a small amount from my account, so I asked, and by the way, what jeremypwr said makes sense, since I just noticed that the minimum amount withdrawal 1mBTC. Pay whenever it is convenient for you, I will not pay before I get home next week probably. We have a deal.

I have no idea about fees on Sporsbet, they never took a single cent for fees on my withdrawals. But somebody, I think @jeremypwr mentioned that 2 mBTC is limit for no fees. I was always withdrawing at least 20 mBTC and thought that it is no fees no matter what. If it is important to you ask live support, they should be able to answer that one from the head But since we made a deal and you'll pay 2 mBTC in one tx it should not apply to this case.

SegWit is in from next year Have no access to the wallet while on holiday so decided to use the same address and start collecting on time as more important.

Can't edit that post, has to stay unedited for accountability. I make it a rule to never edit "important pool posts" since OP gets edited a lot and they are actually serving as contract. Had no idea that forum works that way, I wrote a post before changing the OP and it got the old title. I thought when I change title in the OP all posts had new title. Obviously not the case, will keep in mind for future.

My short memory ... thank you for reminding me about this payment option and thank you for your offer, I will accept it and can pay today. One question ... When you withdraw funds from your Sportsbet account, are transaction costs deducted from the main account or from the withdrawal amount?

It is not possible to pay for them in one transaction from Sportsbet, pools have their own different escrow addresses and I have to have a correct amount on both of them when pools start.

I already mentioned a workaround for this which works fine. You just agree with somebody else to pay double for one pool and that other one pays double for other pool - effectively saving on transaction fee or enabling using Sportsbet no fee option. You asked first so you are now my fee buddy.

I will pay 2 mBTC for Serie A covering my and your fee

This solution has an added benefit of cheaper tx when sending rewards so by all means try to employ it, there will be more money for all of us. Just make sure to let me know who you are paying for in the PM with details.

I am also determined to participate in the pool .... If there is no objection, I will pay the registration fee by the time you return from vacation, and I would really appreciate it if you sent a short mass notification in the spirit of "time to pay" after returning from vacation. And a parallel question, is it possible to pay the fee for Serie A and La Liga in one payment? I'll kick start Serie A pool later today. Don't worry if you guys don't see participants part of OP updated during this first week, I am on vacation so leaving that part for when I get back, around 10th of August. That is the time when I will make actual Superbru pool and start sending invites.

Last year I decided to not use SegWit because there were several people sending money from different bookies/some other services and I was quite sure several did not accept SegWit addresses. This year I went with same addresses since I don't have access to my "escrow wallet" while on holiday. I agree it should be SegWit since it got way more supported in the meantime, will be from next year
