Man I really feel sorry for Aspas. Clearly, he's central to his team getting goals (even without scoring he assists) but they are not doing anything to give him some memorable final seasons, are they? With this loss, and Sevilla a game in hand, they flirt ever closer to relegation. Really breaks my heart to see them on the edge of mediocrity.
But such games sometimes happen and Osasuna leaves with three points, by the way, as I understand it, they broke the 12-year streak of unsuccessful games here.
Overall, your bet was close to winning, but the question is: why bet on City and Liverpool without a handicap? The odds are too small, they had to be maximized.
These things do happen. I might have caught it too, had the odds been in the huge opposite direction. As it stands, a loss.
You made a really point too, and it's generally how I think, but there were two (arbitrary) points for me here. First, that this was actually a Sociedad-Qatar bet at what I felt were really good odds. City and Liverpool were there to "pad up" the bet. Secondly, and related, the nonsense idea of getting the full 5/1 from a freebet where wager is not returned. I needed some bumps to get it over the 5/1 win (City+Liverpool took it to 6/1 to nullify the freebet-not-returned balance. Silly, but I do be silly a lot...
