No need to say about how worried I am about my team, like @notblox1 I'm now not even sure what to expect from Barca in Champions League, although it's too late for me to do anything as I already continued to support my own team in pools, and even already locked picks.

I hope it's a case of just sacrificing points in La Liga to get the max energy from players on Tuesday and Wednesday.

In any case, I was doing Girona bet as my last, yet Real won comfortable, so it's for me case of losing bets whether on favorite or not Wink

La Liga destroyed me. Sociedad did the damage to me as I've posted earlier.
You are not the only one to get burned my friend, and I dont want to show my screenshot shame  Embarrassed

I finally won a round in La Liga Superbru competition but I almost didnt move from my bottom position in table.
This was very strange round, Athletic Bilbao didnt won against last placed Almeria that had red card for most of the second half, and I dont want to say anything more about Barcelona  Roll Eyes
Now I have no clue how teams from La Liga will perform in Champions League  Tongue

Sevilla is winning in series, just about on same time I wrote them off
maybe it is just a coincidence

shame for your tickets, especially for Barca, can't believe they didn't win in the end against Granada
this season La Liga is burning me down, thought at one moment that I solved the puzzle, but this round proves me really wrong on that
and Valencia losing against Las Palmas just overheat that

Something tells me the rest of La Liga season we should bet against Barca, Girona, Sociedad all with Double Chance.

What do you guys think about Barcelona vs Granada?
Current result is 1:1 at the half time and they both need to win for different reasons.

La Liga destroyed me. Sociedad did the damage to me as I've posted earlier.

Then the nightmare results continued. First, Atletico decided to let Sevilla pound them in the first half, killing these tickets:

And then Barca did me in both ways, could have just sat down and let me win the Granada upset, but no, they couldn't even win to save my Monaco ticket...

Man I really feel sorry for Aspas. Clearly, he's central to his team getting goals (even without scoring he assists) but they are not doing anything to give him some memorable final seasons, are they? With this loss, and Sevilla a game in hand, they flirt ever closer to relegation. Really breaks my heart to see them on the edge of mediocrity.
Damn Atletico Madrid!  Angry
I had very nice ticket and I was only waiting for them to win or not to lose, because I had them with Draw No Bet option., together with Stuttgart and Arsenal.
Sevilla decided to suddenly wake up from dead, and I heard they introduced several new young players from their academy, maybe that helped for now.

But such games sometimes happen and Osasuna leaves with three points, by the way, as I understand it, they broke the 12-year streak of unsuccessful games here.
Overall, your bet was close to winning, but the question is: why bet on City and Liverpool without a handicap? The odds are too small, they had to be maximized.

These things do happen. I might have caught it too, had the odds been in the huge opposite direction. As it stands, a loss.

You made a really point too, and it's generally how I think, but there were two (arbitrary) points for me here. First, that this was actually a Sociedad-Qatar bet at what I felt were really good odds. City and Liverpool were there to "pad up" the bet. Secondly, and related, the nonsense idea of getting the full 5/1 from a freebet where wager is not returned. I needed some bumps to get it over the 5/1 win (City+Liverpool took it to 6/1 to nullify the freebet-not-returned balance. Silly, but I do be silly a lot...

Real is very strong, so this result is natural.

agree, Real is really looking strong now
but it does make a question on La Liga strength, since Girona played well, and were humiliated in both games against Real

Valencia lost against Las Palmas, simply can't connect some wins in a row, but Europe is still on reach, will be an interesting season finish

After today's game it's difficult to imagine what have to happen that Real wouldn't win La Liga this season. In one of key games of season they're destroying Girona, 4:0 already with more than 20 minutes remaining. Girona can be great in rest of games, but in both meeting with Real they had no chance completely and they return to reality now. Yeah, they still have great chances to get spot in Champions league, what would be something what nobody expected before season, but dreams about title is over. A bit sad :/
Never thought they have a realistic chance and they lasted longer then I thought possible. Watched against Barca and Atletico and they were really good in both, started to change my opinion a bit here. Did not watch against Real and while I expected Real to win it was more in line with 3:2 result or something similar. Definitly expected Girona to score and to keep it sort of close.

it was expected to see Real win, but didn't expect to see it this easy
does put ahead a question about La Liga overall quality, when you see that Girona was humiliated in both matches against Real, and they are on La Liga top

Valencia is facing Las Palmas tonight, hoping to see good football and a win, will be seen

It seems to me that this is simply a consequence of the fact that Real has returned to its top level. I can’t say that Real is already perfect (the Haaland/Mbappe issue is not yet closed, + injuries and confusion in defense because of this), but Vinny and Bellingham make the difference. In general, now these two players look like they are in the top 3 in the whole world. Real is very strong, so this result is natural.

Sociedad... distracted by Paris? Typical.
They cant expect to win anything this season if they keep losing matches like this on home ground Sad
I think that mean reason for this lose is because they had eight missing players for injury reasons, and coach tried to rotate squad.
Real Madrid proved today they have best chances of winning La Liga, they totally demolished Girona.

Judging by the statistics, Sociedad definitely should not have lost:

Shots - 21:9
Shots on target - 3:2
Corners - 7:4
Ball possession - 68% : 32%

But such games sometimes happen and Osasuna leaves with three points, by the way, as I understand it, they broke the 12-year streak of unsuccessful games here.

Do you maybe also like Protestants vs Catholics or mediterranean against german/nordic. Tongue hahahaha im a little bit of a nerd in such things.

Well i took already my risk putting a draw on Cadiz against Betis, and dont ended up well, but well at least not so much people catch the exact result also. I hope to keep in the path of the last rounds.

We need more nerds in football! Back home we did a lot of that but in a local context (tribal teams vs mainland teams, or state-funded vs private funded, and even language-wise and ethnic wise yes) -- a lot of these are diluted these days (imports are more common, players also switch clubs more than before).

In English football even the geography hardly matters to most people these days -- Liverpool I notice the most, the songs they make about players are more continental, more "homogenous", I used to follow forums teaching some of the weird tunes only locals would know. "Derbies" are no longer regional either, just city-wise, at least at the top, and fans are all about half-scarves now...

Anyway, I was really itching for a 1-1 on Villareal, but I thought they would disappoint. Turns out I was right about their inconsistency in disappointing.

Sociedad... distracted by Paris? Typical.

I am not sure yet, odds are tempting and Girona not to lose, and Real needs to think about next week match against Leipzig in Champions League.
Girona is slowly going down in form and they are going to miss few players for this match, but I think they can score against Real.
Maybe best bet for me is over 2.5 goals and both teams to score.

Man that's too tempting to see I agree. I know Real already beat them earlier, and Girona have been drawing a lot but Real also have been facing problems so it's not a given. I have no idea why odds are so big though so I took it myself, only one bet today I don't even want to look at Barca for fear I make them my superjinx of the weekend.

Anyone daring to take Girona to get some much-needed points here? jeremypwr is near-unassailable but I think Top 5 is well within reach. I've been hit and miss on the Valencia/Sevilla/Villareal/Celta lottery. Too good to lose, you think logically, but inconsistently too bad to win. Girona is the key though. Predict their excellence or downfall, and you'll get valuable points.

darxiaomi said something in a way I've never seen -- latin vs anglo saxon. Somehow I failed to ever view these leagues in this light.

Congrats to darxiaomi and CLS63 for winning the Round 23 Yellow Cap

My predicting the score of the Sevilla match helped me win the yellow cap. However you are absolutely dominating the La Liga pool this year. For now my target is to win 20 mbtc prize by finishing in 3rd place at least. However I'm aware that I need to challenge the bests of the forum for this.
