I backed Girona to win and got rare exact score. I said it already - they're most interesting La Liga team to follow this season. Now they'restill undefeated, no idea how long it will continue, but I think they're capable to fight for CL spots.
Valencia lost game. Didn't watched it, but from stats and xG it seems that it wasn't most exciting game to watch. Just few weeks ago they destroyed Atletico at home and after it they got just 1 point from 2 games. Seems that this season will be another roller-coaster for them.

So, last round I actually managed a respectable second place, which actually is even a rare thing for me despite this being the league I'm supposed to be most familiar with.

I think these Barcelona guys are trying to be crowned comeback kings of La Liga, just yesterday they did the samething of chasing the game against Mallorca who scored first thanks to home advantage but luckily they did manage to salvage a draw in a game that looked like Mallorca would win.
Btw, Champions league is around the corner again and am expecting their best players to be rested against Sevilla and am expecting a similar performance of a draw/lose for FCB especially that Sevilla is back to winning ways and will be looking to get on a winning run.

Previous LaLiga round was not going like I wanted it to go.
I got pissed by Las Palmas scoring a goal in last seconds of the match, and I had exact score 0:0 in Superbru Sad

Only 8.5 points and one exact score for me, but I am impressed with results of top guys, I dont know how they are doing it.
Another win for Girona and they are still holding second place in league?! WOW! Shocked

Anyway, funny that I ordinarily back Atleti in the derby but BSFL made me think with my head (and cost me the title) so there's always a benefit to going against the grain.

And yes, alerts important, 3 pools if not 4 this season will suffer if you forget picks. Busiest season ever for most of us, I probably should thank some invisible power somewhere there's no Fantasy for La Liga and Serie A...

Well you were right though, tired and according to Xavi, very clumsy and careless. Then it all changed with 10 minutes boom time.

Damn, what a crazy comeback of Barcelona. In general it was shitty game, but what was going on in last 10 minutes was crazy - from 0:2 to 3:2. When score become 2:2, usually I think it's already good to take 1 point from such kind of game, but this time I was more than sure that 3rd goal is just matter of time.
Want to say few words about Girona, they're still undefeated after 6 rounds. Win against Mallorca 5:3 today and IMO, from all teams, Girona games is most attractive to watch now. I really would like to see them in Europa league next season at least, maybe even Champions league is possible.
Madrid Derby at Metropolitano tomorrow, any initial thoughts?

I change scores here and there sometimes but sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Honestly, probably just keep things easy and keep your picks unless something drastic happens to team players.

Don't let the bad results from the first few round discourage you. Predicting correct scores is very difficult and much luck is needed to guess the score of a game. I'm too sitting near the bottom of the table, but that's OK. I joined this pool for fun, not for anything serious. Sometimes luck will change and you will get a lot of scores right or close and sometimes you will get most games wrong.

I also decided that once i decide on a score i will not make any changes, many times I made a change and ended up getting it wrong while my first pick was the right one, at least i believe i am not the only one with this issue, it feels like the universe likes to be funny with us, there has to be something going on along those lines. Ah well at least I enjoy the fun of it all.

Same. Pools actually not much you can do and random scores win you exact and close points. This season I'm trying more 2-1 scores everywhere and no difference in results lol

BSFL if you research and your opponent does not, you have better chance of "free points" like in picking tennis finalists for example. Still luck like you said but you can win points by research

My knowledge about these leagues are nearly shit. Have no idea of the teams, how they play. I only depend on the result I see online and make my guess from it. Maybe that's the reason of the bad position on the point table for me.

Anyone have more to say about some other teams or any insights that can help people like me? We can always use tips and helps from people who know the league better than others.
