I didn't have time to join the pool at first because I didn't know this pool existed.
Therefore I also want to join this pool, please count me in. Registration fees will be sent via PM.
Thanks to the Sportsbet team for sponsoring this competition again.

Is there another registration thread? like The Premier League has
No need for registration thread in my opinion. Just send me a PM with tx id. And I am also organising Serie A pool with same conditions so check that one as well.
Okay, good to know that I thought only the Spanish pool was open but it was great. I also want to join both pools to try my luck Smiley

Argentine representative on gambling board
As always im in, i hope i can drag some other people from some threads who i think maybe they can join. But you know easy to say hard to do when you said to them they have to pay a fee to enter (no matter how generous and easy to retake was the opportunitie).

First season for me in this pool was good i ended in third position, but last one was a shame, so i hope to improve again this year.

Ok guys now it is official. Sponsorship has been agreed with Sportsbet once again. I have also updated the OP with new info. Here are the sponsorship details:

1. 100 mBTC cash for pool rewards (over 3000$ at the moment)
2. 0.5 mBTC free bet for all participants paid when the league starts and we have final number of participants
3. 1 mBTC for each week yellow cap winner

Big thanks to Steve and Sportsbet once again. Should be another cracking year.

You can already start to sign up. Escrow address is the same one as every year. You have it in the OP. Send me a PM with tx details when you pay and I will send you a link to join Superbru. That being said La Liga is not live yet on Superbru so I can't send you joining details immediately. It will probably get live a couple of weeks before it starts. Same goes for Serie A, but my post is the last there so I will refresh it a bit later.

Will it be allowed to pay for both pools in one transaction?
Sure, as long as entry for each pool gets on the right address. I am usually paying entries to several pools in same tx, don't know why would anyone object to that. You just have one input and multiple outputs.

Leaning towards 1.5 mBTC fee after reading all your comments in both threads. Wil be final in a few days when I officially open sign ups.

I understand that most of us participate in numerous pools that could make the amount rather cumbersome at a go, while some other would be pool selective and it's easier for them join those few pools, but in the end it would make sense to have something to worth fighting for through course of the duration of the league, so any amount decided for the entry fee would be fine and make sense in correlation to the participant numbers.

Personally, if fee will be 2 mBTC, I'm completely fine with it. I will play regardless of what fee you will set. It would be nice if we will get at least 20 participants in both pools finally. I don't believe that there is no 20 people on Bitcointalk who are interested in La Liga and Serie A and ready to pay some money to play, while EPL or Champions league is getting 60 participants without problems.
Will it be allowed to pay for both pools in one transaction?

Soldado is still playing? Had no idea. I thought he retired after his spell at Granada. How old is he? Surely close to 40.

Did not watch any of lower league games, gonna wait until new season to actually see the promoted clubs in action.
I also thought that he retired after Granada, but when I saw him entering pitch after substitution against Alaves. He is 38 years old, so yeah, close to 40.
Maybe it don't fits that much for Soldado, but Joaquin example shows that even at such age player still can be useful, playing in strong team.

Whaaaat ? Soldado still playing ? Man , sometimes I forget that I'm not young anymore but Soldado still playing is great to hear and I still think he was the best striker that Valencia had in the last decade.

Joaquin really had passion for football and he chose to stay at Betis because the fans , the team around him but also the board members threated him like a family and it's rare to see sometimes like this in modern football where everyone is chasing money at a certain age.

Hey guys, good news, we will again be sponsored by Sportsbet this season. They will put up 100 mBTC for the main pot. There will also probably be usual free bets but I still have to iron out the details.

I will open signups soon but wanted to get a bit of feedback about buy in this season. It will be in a range 1-2 mBTC. I am leaning more towards 2 or at least 1.5 but wanted to check up with regulars. Don't want to price anybody out. Most of us here are playing all the pools and that adds up quite quickly.

Same deals and question go for Serie A so i would appreciate if somebody quotes this in that thread and bumps it up as well. Writing this while waiting on Montenegro/Croatia border

Good news!
I'm in business and any amount of entry fee will do. I think that most regular participants are also unlikely to pay much attention to the difference between 1.5 and 2. However, let's look at other opinions.

Good luck to everyone in advance! This season, I will pay special attention to Serie A, as I want to recoup for the failure of last season.

Rayo could get a big transfer on their side, with Maximiano from Lazio coming on loan, after utterly unsuccessful debut for Lazio, and red card in 6 minute, that left him on a bench for whole season
it would be good for my Sorare team as well

expected a lot from him last season, but he ended-up playing few Conference league matches and rotting on a bench to Ivan Provedel, that was great last season

@Trofo I get it, somehow when I made the suggestion I forgot that not all the escrows are the same, even if it's Sportsbet sponsored, it was not necessarily Sportsbet who started the pool, rather, it was the actual organisers. Totally understand, so for now, I guess I'll stick to the agreement La Liga/Calcio with casper. As you said, way too early to discuss so we wait.

@Igebotz amazing deal indeed, I think Gundogan rather than Haaland was the main reason City won the title in the end, of course also Arsenal dropping huge points in a couple of weeks made it all theirs. I'm very happy with the buy, but like you asked, I also thought secretly we might steal Silva finally. At this stage, I'm more interested to find out if we managed to get out more debt though rather than the squad because I hate it hanging over us all season.

Well done on winning leea! We haven't met yet in BSFL but I see you're doing so well in promotion and now top of Division 2!

Anyway La Liga schedules are already published, Real got Bellingham and we got Gundogan, so it's gonna be really really tough. We start with Getafe, where it's always tough for us but the pick of the first match is for sure Sevilla versus Valencia lol

Good luck everyone, and is it possible for me to send all my fees for all pools everywhere instantly? Tongue

I don't think the any pool will be announced just yet, at least it will be by mid of next month, because there are still varieties of things to work out by the organizers from looking for sponsorship to struck and platforms to be used.

If you'd rather not have it with you, I'm sure there will be a couple of organizers that could help you out with keep them, such as Trofo, who I know will be handling a number of pools too, and plays in almost every pool out here, he could be willing to help.
This pool as well as all my other pools will be here next season for sure and it will be run on Superbru. It is just a question of how much money will I be able to squeeze from sponsors Smiley Still a bit early to do that though.

@slaman29 There isn't actually an easy fix to pay everything from one TX, all pools are separate entities with their own escrow. We can only agree among ourselves to pay for each other for all the pools with same costs. For instance both my pools Serie A and La Liga will have same fee, maybe Fantasy or Bundesliga will have the same as well. That means I can pay for 4 people in one of them and those other people pay it the same way in other pools.

Premier League and Champions League are usually with bit higher fee. But still early days to discuss that. We have to see who will be the sponsors and fees before agreeing on it.

I missed out on this and two other pools last season, but I know the Laliga isn't as unpredictable as the EPL, so I'm ready to step in next season.
I expect you to participate this season. Looking for forward to some creative banter  Cool

The Gundogan deal is exceptional. After the fantastic season he had with Manchester City, I expected him to sign the proposed contract extension and enjoy another few years there. How did Barcelona miss out on the B. Silva deal after he had been close to joining the club since last season? They are both great players who I like watching.
Gundogan is older than B. Silva and it's more easily for Barcelona to convince Gundogan than B.Silva.

Gundogan got everything he can with Manchester City and the Champions League trophy as their captain in the last season is a highest achievement in his career. It is a sweet result for Gundogan as many years ago, he failed in a first Champions League final match with Dortmund against Bayern Munich. Eventually he got a feeling to lift that cup with Manchester City and he can even resign his career with happiness.

Moving to another big league and getting a new experience before ending his career is better than staying in Manchester City and getting less important position there.

Las Palmas should make it interesting, and I think that Granada will survive for sure

Granada played very good football in the early time that they were last in La Liga, this I remember, we probably was also in Superbru already doing this pool, if my memory is right.

They even beat us once I remember, so we know they are capable of good football, but not capable of maintaining the same levels in a whole seaosn.

Honestly I can't wait for it to start again, I think we have a tough time defending title, and Atletico might be another surprise package.

as far as I saw, nobody commented on new/old La Liga member Alaves, scoring in 135 minute of second match in Levante from penalty spot, after both teams playing almost 240 minutes (with additions) in two matches without scoring goals - in case no goals, Levante would proceed due to being placed better in regular time
similar outcome to Calcio play-off between Bari and Cagliari, away time winning in overtime, while home tried to secure a draw
I watched that game and ending of it was a bit crazy. First I have no idea why commenator was saying that Levante would get promoted if 2nd leg would 0:0 too and game wouldn't go to penalties. I would say that's a bit strange rule. That penalty was decided by VAR review and I would say that for me that wasn't 100% penalty that would be awarded every time in other ocassions. Really wanted to see return of Levante, missing them in La Liga, but Alaves isn't bad team too and have some interesting players to watch.

regarding Alaves, I was favoring Levante, but after they made a bus in front of their goal, heading for draw, one simply can't cheer for them, it is not that they were playing Barca/Real, it was Alaves
and Alaves is again in La Liga, probably main candidate to turn back to Segunda next season Smiley
