I just hope we make a better showing of Champions League next season, if even we are allowed to play it.

IMO, there is zero chance for Barca to not be allowed to play Champions league, does not seem realistic at all

looking at La Liga, it is already over after Real is defeated, and difference is above 10 points, not much to play, looking at form, it is more realistic to see Atletico on position 2, than Real fighting for the title

nevertheless, my view is on lower side, and relegation fight this season, Atletico trashed us, but that was not the place to fight for points, still enough time to avoid relegation, and pretty sure it is going to happen

I agree that Real was better in 2nd half and it looked that Barca would accept draw. And that Asensio goal - without watching replay I couldn't even think that it could be offside.
International break now, so we can continue discussing inflation rates around the world there Cheesy.

It feels weird that even though Barca is on track to win our first trophy in a few years that I somehow don't feel so fantastic, probably because I'm afraid of all the things that will come at the end of the season. We never solved our financial crisis and then the investigations are now added on with the refereeing scandal.

I just hope we make a better showing of Champions League next season, if even we are allowed to play it.

Euro is up next indeed, hope for an inflation of goals Wink

Feel so relieved all of us didn't jinx Barca, but maybe Trofo jinxed Real this time back in our favor.
Well, I jinxed that Real will score from open play. Actually, Araujo scored it, really bad luck for him.

Well i see the last 20 minutes of Barca Real, and Real was way better, in fact they disallowed a goal from Real Madrid for milimeters, and Barca ending wining like Madrid in UCL.

I went with a bold 2-1 from Real Madrid, so it really hurt.

And now..... a boring national team break.

So glad we won, and apparently from the reports, we actually did deserve it Smiley The Nou faithful was made to wait 5 years to celebrate Clasico win on home turf!!

Winning La Liga in the middle of March sounds too good, but why not? Smiley. Backing Barca too. For me it's unbeleavable that after 12 games at home Barca is yet to concede goal from open play. Only their conceded goal was penalty.
You know what happens tonight after you wrote this post, don't you? Real will get at least one penalty and maybe even two, feel like Barca can't win tonight for La Liga to stay competitive until the end and to break their dominion over Real in last couple of games. In fact I am going to go and place a bet on Real penalty, just think they may be getting some soft calls today cause of the above and Barca ref scandal.

Feel so relieved all of us didn't jinx Barca, but maybe Trofo jinxed Real this time back in our favor.

We did seem to deserve the win but also got lucky that the goal Real got was Vared away. To be very fair, we also got unlucky giving the own goal, it was the only way Real could score. First time we concede at home in long time but important to say it was OG, and we don't care Smiley

Are you sure that the inflation rate in Turkey is 55% ?  Cheesy The goverment doesn't share the correct information with public as there is an election to take place in May. The inflation rate in Turkey has become 126.91%
according to the calculations of independent researchers. Many of my friends also have gone to Europe. I hope I can also go if the government doesn't change by the election in May. Tongue

I wish independent researchers would do countries like Indonesia and Malaysia and Philippines. The governments there rarely post anything more than 2 or 3% (and in fact from 2000-2010 it was less than 2% published).

But I can count many things in my head that is 3-5x the price from 2000. Some are even almost 10x more. If what is published is true, we should only be seeing double price increase since 2000.

During Covid time alone some things even almost doubled.

I would never leave my country however, but I think most of us say that anyway because we cannot go to Europe if we wanted. Those who want, usually can afford it (as in, get a visa, by buying/investing in property, or buying a fancy degree and "getting" a job there).

Yeah, I know that I probably jinxed with this post Cheesy. But I expect that they will score from open play, not penalty.
BTW, I just realised that's last game before long awaited international break...

Barcelona are totally focused on the league now. I think they are going to win today. I'm going on unexpectedly good in the pool so far. I hope I can finish the season in top 5.

I would agree that Barcelona have nothing significant else to fight for other than the league, but I really don't believe that'd increase the club's chances of winning it, Barcelona are of course the favourite team right and everything have been going their way against all odds in the league, but I remember Barcelona being completely focused on the UCL group stages but got knocked out so very early, and the headed to Europa League but couldn't even go another stage further, while those games were top priorities as at then, I'll rather just enjoy them going gradually towards winning the league, than believe simply because they are more focused on it, it's going to be an easy one to get.

By the way, I read recently inflation went past 100% at your home place, football memes mixed with baguette memes? I had no idea what's going on but hope everything is okay. Where I live it is not so bad, if you read the news, because officially we are not even 10% inflation, but on the streets we all can see food price more than doubled and people are not feeling good about the future.

Hahaha yes man we are again notice in the world Tongue, we destroy Turkey, they cant follow us they only reach 55% of inflation an we made a very big effot to overcome the 100%  Grin

Jokes asides, yes its bad obviusly but we are really used to this, and also you can make some money if you know and are intelligent.

I think this soon its gonna end, in a bad way like before, with the Hiperinflation of 1989 and another supercomeback for Argentina in a bullmarket.

The main problem its the the going of many people to Europe, we are "exporting" a big ammount of profesionals in all the areas, because the vast mayority of us have citizenship of one european country (mostly Italy and Spain), and we dont know if they are gonna comeback someday. Now i have more than 10 friends living in Europe.

Nice OT.

Not very fun to read about Barca's involvement with refs, very shameful if it's true, but not surprising after all the hell our club has been through. I have to say as a fan I hope we pay for crimes, too bad the criminals are the people on top, and the whole club must pay, but I hope any punishment happens next season.
If everything will be proven to be right, I can't imagine how terrible outcome of it would be. We're talking about period of almost 20 years. It would be much bigger scandal than Calciapoli was.
But it doesn't looks that these payments helped much for Barca. I remember how many times Barca was robbed by referees, especially before VAR era.

Big night for us Barca! I put all my balance, which is not so big so not great but for me it is plenty!! on this game. Nice 2x, too bad it was not enjoyable 4x as before, but we can definitely win the La Liga tonight I feel, another 1-0 is all I need Smiley

@darxioami Hang in there buddy, I think everywhere that is not mainly Europe is having big problems, with the difference is there is no pension or government to help if things go to hell and the problem with people here is they are so used to it their whole lives that they even expect things get worse all the time.

Here there are definitely people also who would give up their passport to go some other place, but mainly the rich, so in fact, they are already living a good life, but want to live even better life. They prefer migrating to US or Canada or Australia though, because of big Asian communities there who are not looked down on.

Well i keep climbing and climbing from the hell to the sky in this pool, im having really good rounds, but i started so bad that im only in 14 position.
I wanna know how far i can reach. I feel like i find the path, but you know this its football and all can happen.

Barcelona can have the championship in his pocket if they dont lose again Madrid in the next round.

I say well done to you and may heaven be in your reach, man!

I hope Buwaytress ticket was just Barcelona win too, and not perhaps a BTTS, Over or Handicap, which must have meant he also won his bet.

Yeah. Simple ML. The odds were interesting for me, thought it was great value with Lewie back in the lineup. It was one hell of a lucky win, though, from the reports I read, home fans were booing the refs and chanting for Barca relegation. I know the refereeing quality in La Liga has been abysmal but I'm not sure any of that's Barca's fault.

I'll literally still pick refereeing in La Liga over that of the overly exposed Premier League, but then even if the referee are in favor of Barcelona, I don't see any of them suiting up for the Barcelona team in defense, because you don't keep that kind of defensive record in the league with just referees biases, even prime time defensive Barcelona of the peak Gerard Pique, Carles Puyol and Rafa Marquez didn't never had it this good, not even Barcelona of the Messi, Suarez and Neymar era had it this good, 47 goals scored, in 25 games and just 8 conceded all season long so far, men, I know the team is still coming short in Europe but they really do deserve their flowers for the performance in the league, no question!

Just enjoy your win bro!, and let's look forward to the drama at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.

Nice one Trofo man! I know we bet differently, but I really like seeing these 5-leg ones pass, especially with risky (to me) picks like Sevilla. You really think they're turning the corner?

And how much did you bet, buway? Don't be afraid to share Wink If you say big bet, then I think of double digit mbtc at least like Trofo!

I know it is supposed to be for flow, but what is the point of playing on if a goal will be cancelled for foul/handball/offside right? I agree, we just need a draw but I want us to win next Clasico.

I'm a very, very casual player and let's just say most of my underdog bets are in the region of $5 (depending on BTC price), so you can imagine I if the odds are far lower, my stake kind of corresponds. Very good win for me, and a happy mistake to make, x10 my intended stake, but it wasn't really an important bet.

I'm also not a fan of VAR recalls for events that happened way before a goal.

The one that annoys me the most is obvious offsides or fouls that are allowed to play on, when refs should know a goal would require VAR recall anyway -- I do enjoy games being in flow but really hate to see that defenders and keepers have to put themselves in dangerous situations "in case the foul or offside isn't made".

Consistency again, is what we want. That's all.

Nice win Trofo! Which ticket did you have Barca on? Also multibet? And how much did you bet, buway? Don't be afraid to share Wink If you say big bet, then I think of double digit mbtc at least like Trofo!

I have to be very happy with the win of course, but unfortunately all my Barca tickets were multibets so it was pointless for betting.

LTU_btc is right however, we were incredibly lucky because VAR saved the day and I agree. If there was handball at start of attack, or any kind of offside even, I now see that game plays on UNLESS there is a goal.

That's a pretty impressive win you've got there mate, congratulations! If this was suppose to be a back, the main would have been even more significant if Man Utd had won, but Casemiro being sent sure did had its effect on the game totally, imo it was a deserved red card because the tackle could have led to a horrific injury, If the player had intended to shoot the ball, and it more so needless tackle from Casemiro, but I really don't like the idea of him serving 3-4 match because of that, being sent of from the game was enough caution to me.

My main ticket is way less impressive, idea behind the main ticket is big stake, smaller odds which hopefully results with won tickets most of the time. Thise are the tickets that keep my betting bank in the green and multi tickets like the one above are cherry on top when they pass, but that is not often.

Casemiro ban is 4 games per card rules, has nothing to do with intensity of start. First direct red got him 2 games, 2nd one yesterday means automatic 4 games ban.

Valencia got a big win over Osasuna, and because this is a big win, one can conclude what a team status is, but hopefully Baraja will put our ship into mid-table region
with Gatusso or Voro, we would end up as draw last night, but now we are playing till last minute, and could even score second, but missed from a penalty spot

at least we are out from relegation zone

I started typing about Sevilla and Valencia, but nope, I'm not getting tricked. I do hope you're right and they're going on a win streak now to La Liga survival, though I'll be upset I won't be taking advantage of odds en route.

On the other hand, Sociedad and Villareal let me down today... and I have an unintentionally big bet (you know when you miss a decimal and your mind knows but your finger clicks confirm anyway?) on Barca to end my Sunday, so I hope they play well!
I am also waiting on Barca on another ticket but I must admit I included Sevilla on another multi today, just had a feeling it is time for their season to turn. They were much better team throughout the whole match. Well deserved win and they got me enough money to even consider removing them from blacklist. Jury is still out on that one, no promises, but seems like I got into the grew when they are concerned. 2 in a row is not bad, looking forward to future opportunities.

Too bad my main ticket fell down on United but it is always nice when backup comes to the rescue.

Damn, Barca is just incredible lucky. Another 0:1 win. And when you already think that our luck is over after Williams scored goal after perfect attack - here comes VAR which cancel goal - there was handball in start of attack. In such moments I have mixed feelings about VAR. It kills football atmosphere, but rules are rules and everything was done right. Now we have 9 points lead against Real before El Clasico. If Real won't win it, I think we already can crown Barca, even draw would be enough for us.

Yeah, it seems that Sevilla is back on track. It's too late for them to fight for UEFA spots, but they still can make some noise in Europa league, even if they're not one of favorites. Valencia also is slowly starting to show something, though it's probably too early to remove them from blacklists. But I hope that they will get out from relegation zone.
