Dang. I thought it was risky to ask Barca to score 3 goals, and then they do it all in the first half for the second consecutive game. Still always feel it's weird to predict high scoring games but only get 1 point same as guys who pick 1-0.

Let's wait until Sevilla reach europa league, that's when we'll feast alright. They'll be in their comfort zone and we'll start making serious bank  Grin

That's actually a really good tactic come to think of it. Might even apply it to Premier League with... Spurs? Got so mad watching them play last night until I recalled they're maybe also just trying to lower expectations so fans are actually happy when they qualify for Europa.

Did anyone wtched Villarreal - Levante game? If you watched, you had to see interesting moment. Alex Baena were sent of after scoring a goal, it was his second yellow card. He taken of shirt to show message dedicated to club vice president, who passed away. But he didn't even took off shirt fully:

Good that Villarreal won, otherwise there would lot of talk about this referee decision.

HT and Barcelona already won the match. 3-0 in the span of 10 minutes. Man, Bilbao actually piss and shit their pants in fear when they enter the Camp nou, eh? It's unreal  Lips sealed
It's almost same match like against Villarreal, it's a bit strange to beat decent teams so easy. With Barca it doesn't happens that often that they let you to watch 2nd half relaxed. But everything simply can't go well. Sergi Roberto, who had solid match tonight, it seems that he got serious injury.

Yeah, this turned much easier for Barca then anticipated. Bilbao has been playing in good form this season but they pull down their pants and bend over when visiting Camp Nou.

A lot of "derby matches" this week and all of them went on the side of favorites quite easy. No matter that Real missed Benzema, or that Atletico played against very good Betis side. Everyone collected the points and continued the title race.

Very tight at the top of the table in battle for yellow cap this week, please forget to put your picks tomorrow that is my only chance to get something back from this pool  Grin

I am not betting on Valencia ever

regarding Sevilla, maybe four goals more than expected, but final score and Real win couldn't be more reasonable and expected

Never too late to learn the lesson the rest of us already have haha, but yeah, I don't feel too bad about losing Sevilla bet, was one I'd keep on putting as long as the odds are right, exact score in pool is good for me, climbing up to Top 7 after 11 games finally.

Griezmann double, points in the bag, and a close score, that's fine. I was taking a lot of time over this one -- 1-0, 2-0 and finally settled for good old boring 2-1, thinking Betis would take advantage of suspect Atletico defending these days. To be fair, they had thrice the number of attempts, so it was a fair prediction, and Nabil Fekir popped up to give it to me.

Alex Moreno almost got Trofo the 2-2 pick he made though in 3rd min injury time!

Been a long, long time since I got 2 exact picks in a row, Bologna gave me one just before this in Serie A, hope this is me recovering in Superbru.

Meanwhile Valencia at home lost to Mallorca. Nobody in our pool didn't predicted such outcome. It's good for me that I already added Valencia to my blacklist of betting Cheesy.

third match in a row, where we scored lead through Cavani, and conceived late goals, only difference is that we lost now, after two draws, nevertheless, still hoping for EL or ECL next season

Yeah Bilbao gave Barcelona a run for their money in the last few seasons when Messi was still in the team, but, if you think Sevilla's winless record at the Bernabeu is bad, well, let me tell you that Bilbao's winless record at the Camp Nou is much worse  Cheesy   20 years without winning away vs barca lol
Really? That's actually incredible, considering that Athletic isn't bad team after all. They're different beast at San Mames, but fact that they haven't won at Camp Nou for 20 years sounds incredible for me. All series comes to the end sooner or later, but maybe not this time.

I was never even aware that such a record exist, Athletic Bilbao have always been a hard nut for Barcelona at San Mames and have won against Barcelona at some cup competition, but I can't believe they've never managed to win at the Camp Nou, I also do hope tonight will not be different as well, Athletic Bilbao have not been doing very badly too, so they sure should put on some fight and we can get an eventful fixture.

Now way I would put any bet on Sevilla, they can't win much easier games then this one. And that is also true when they are in good form and currently they are far from that.
Things weren't going that bad for Sevilla gainst Real, but after all, they got defeated again. Anyway, I expect that under Sampaoli they will start to show better results eventually and maybe even fight for spots in UEFA Cups. I have no idea why I predicted 3:0 Real win, but after all, that was quite close call Cheesy

Sevilla have gone 13 seasons in a row without grabbing the 3 points at the Bernabeu, and they were at their peak in some of those seasons. 10/1 seems about right. Personally I think RM are gonna smash

Yeah, I'm expecting nothing less than a Real smash, given just how poor Sevilla are this season, this team is ragged and out of ideas, but still, you know, it's anything goes and while I'm not confident enough to put this up as a recommended pick, I still fancy my chances.

Re Fantasy, damn, I'm neglecting it again despite promising not to... just too little motivation on my part to do anything else but picks.

@toma: yep I def pulled the trigger. Wish me luck cause Liverpool just lost ha...

did not believed, it is always close for Barcelona, but 20 years, this one should come to an end
yeah, Bilbao is taking it seriously at home, not on away matches with Barca

Rayo scored, Cadiz got a red card, should we call this one cleared for Rayo, or Cadiz has some strength to continue their draw strike
edit: one more in overtime, now should be gone for Cadiz

Today it was confirmed that Benzema will miss this game and sevilla ML odds got slashed super hard and they're now sitting at 7/1. Hopefully those hoping for a Sevilla win pulled the trigger last night  Cheesy

Bilbao probably has better chances against Barca, they are in good shape, and always tough opponent for Barca, especially in cup matches

Sevilla has hardly any chance against Real, I am pretty much outside this weekend, no plan to watch the match, but would be very surprised to see them not getting few in their net

nevertheless, Valencia should not miss home win, will they no matter miss it?

I will definitely be inside, but definitely not up and in bed long ago already as this match starts at 3am for me. Of course I can try to stay up but waste my whole Sunday feeling like shit after that. Even Valencia match is way too late for me and I'm not interested to watch Rayo, Cadiz, not even Sociedad.

So it's gonna be a boring weekend for me looking at maybe a bit of PL.

Sevilla have already played ten matches out of which they won two and drew four and lost the rest. Real Madrid face 12th-placed Sevilla in La Liga on the 23rd. So that Sevilla, a relatively weak team, is likely to be defeated by the in-form Real Madrid in this match.

I'd back Sevilla to beat Real next but for me the odds feel a bit nonsense (seriously, given their form vs Real, and away, does anyone seriously expect us to bet for only 10/1? The answer is yes for me of course haha).

Btw, we're in for a very exciting weekend in La Liga! Real madrid - Sevilla, Barcelona - Bilbao, Real Betis - Atletico Madrid. I'm definitely adding one of those games to a parlay, gonna use the free bet from the previous Round  Cool
Looks like very exciting round in La Liga, maybe I will finally manage to watch a game or two. I have been neglecting La Liga for far to long, always giving priority to Premier League. I blame fantasy football for that Smiley

Too small sample size Slam, but glad you're getting inspiration for those wins, it's proven for me, and it makes me happier to bet regularly like that and provide a lot of good cushion for my other betting which is more emotional (and hence, more loss-inducing haha).

Great bounceback win from Barca last night, I love seeing Fati on the scoresheet. It's a simple formula that is profitable past 5 seasons: I have Real/Barca, PSG, Bayern, Big 4 English teams, formerly Juventus haha, all on watchlist, 10/1 and above against same league opponent, is almost a sure bet for me.
It is good to have your game that works for you. I could never place those bets you are making. Even when I expect though match for favorite I go just for both to score and I believe that favorite rarely looses matches like that. They can get one goal behind but almost always they manage to at least get a point from the game.

That being said, with odds like that you actually need just one win from 10 tickets to be in the positive so that works for you.

Actually, I never bet on big odds game (single bet not multibet, multibet if you don't get big odds you are doing it wrong lol) in the past many years until I actually came to this forum and saw guys like you post big odds bets AND win. I took sometimes inspiration from it and now I check my Sportsbet history and you're right. It actually makes more profit than my regular betting.
Last big odds single bets since 6 months (more than 5x):
8.9 - Loss
9.7 - loss
14.2 - loss
12.3 -loss
8.7 - WON (2 months ago)
8- loss
9.5 -loss
8.08 -loss
6 -loss
9.56-loss
5.7-loss
15 - WON Special (6 months ago)
11 -loss
16.4 -loss
9.3 -loss

So something like 8+x profit just doing this, which if I'm honest I am lucky to even x5 my wager amount on my regular betting

Of course such small sample and I don't make many bets as buway or other people as I'm not always looking out, but it makes sense. Do you guys remember Soccer Blackjack? That was the same thing. You win once and you can lose 21 times... and I followed practically every bet, it was so weird, we could lose 20 times and then hit a few in a streak, that was so profitable.

So the funny thing is I know it seems to work but my brain cannot process doing it because big odds just seems so impossible lol

Valencia missed penalty in overtime, that lasted for 13 minutes, but we did not deserved to win, Sevilla was better, especially in second half

all draws is nothing strange to La Liga, but I had none last night

And more each season now plenty of cards on both ends seems to be a big way to go betting too!

Every time when i see this unpredictable results like Valladolid wining 4-1 against Celta, i only can think in one guy who can put that kind of results, and open superbru to see if Rdbase put his always bold predictions against all odds. XD

But.... i noticed he is not playing this pool. He his mading his picks only in PL.

Really bad week for me.

I never predict draws, such a boring result.
Fun fact: Out of the top 5 leagues in europe, La Liga is the one with the least number of draws. Source: 30 secs of google search, so i could be wrong lol

yeah, this season is not having that many draws, agree

Sociedad should be an easy win tonight
Valladolid is already up against Celta, didn't expect that, while Betis is tight on goalless so far

Real should continue their strike against Elche, they can take points from Valencia, but hardly from Real
