I think I played myself big time today and I lost 6 points for that, I literally had 1-0 win for both Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, but I changed them both to 1-1 draw each just before saving my picks, I couldn't fucked up any worse, knowing fully well that I needed those points, getting just one exact between both games would have at least been somewhat consoling for me, but I'm just likely going to fall down further below in the leaderboard, damn!

Zero points from 5 fixtures so far for me!, and it was like the only chance to reduce the gap that saint-loup currently holds at the top of the table, but that's not even happening for me, but the fact the highest point so far this round is a joint currently 4.5 shows it's a very tough one.

yeah, it was our chance to reach top6, Cavani scored two in few minutes, but in the end, we could not beat Elche at home, miserable

Atletico is up against Bilbao, and that proves it all, Barca, Real and Atletico are only teams in La Liga that can connect five or more wins in a row, all the others are really close, some a bit better, some bit worst, but cannot expect from them to win in series, just to lose matches in series

Terrible start of weekend for everyone in this pool. I barely got 1.5 pts today and it was thanks to Sevilla. Depressing.

There's no consistency in La liga right now, the fact that bottom of the league sides like Getafe, Cadiz and Elche are getting points says it all. League table positions are irrelevant, every game is 50/50 and hate it :/

At least i know i will get 3 points tomorrow because Real madrid are going to smash Fc Barcelona 

Mixed up my draw and surprise home win in Premier League and La Liga. I was so 100% sure I picked Brentford, and then 1-1 draw in La Liga so when I saw the results, was happy.

Then checked Superbru and found out I got 0 from both lol. I saw CLS63 picked Getafe

Unfortunately, the only runs for me that are memorable about Barca in the Champions Leagues are all about winning first leg big time, losing second leg even bigger time. You guys should also thank teams who give that kinds of memories lol

Oh Sunday is going to be amazing, the best part is both those games happen not too late for me (10 and 11pm +) so I can at least watch first half of Clasico and decide if it's worth it to sleep late  

Can't argue really. I did have things to say about how we lose the 2019 final but we were so, so naive, and frankly we were at the peak of overperformance that eventually came undone.

But last year Real won it all fair and square, they knew how to weave their magic, and we didn't. I also got what I asked for, which was a rematch, but it wasn't to be.

It is definitely painful to lose 4 games all of last season and walk away only with 2 domestic cups. But that's how football is.

El Clasico, I'm really looking forward (too bad Barca won't get great odds), but the biggest shame is I'll only be watching first half, as City comes to visit Anfield an hour later...

That run from Real in Champions League is memorable. They weren't just bad, they were outright playing football for just 10 minutes and turning the tables on top teams. They should have lost against PSG, against City and against Chelsea.

But CL is their playground and they just belived in wins and they came.

This is exactly how it is.

Nobody remembers Real was 80% bad for almost every Champions League game last season, just they remember how they won it. OTOH nobody remembers Liverpool lost only 3 games the whole of last season playing almost 60 games, yet lost the final to Real Madrid.

I know personally I always said we have to play good football over long term, or people get very angry even if you keep winning. At least for Barca this is the case, but in the short term, if you play half the games great and half shit but you win, nobody gives shits

Muriqi has done everything last night, missed a penalty, scored a goal from penalty spot hour later and got red card in the end, there are players that do not have that much done in half season

Elche is drawing into Segunda fast, they will need real miracle after WC to get back into fight, since I cannot see them in winning strike

My first half of the season as Barcelona would have been made already if we're able to win both against Inter and Real Madrid, I'm more worried about against Inter due to what's at stake, we can't just draw or lose then have all our hopes on having to beat Bayern just like it happened last season, Real Madrid seemed to be doing just fair enough, but I don't perceive them to be any better than Barcelona for this season, tbvh. I'll have my money on Barcelona to score Over 1.5 goals against them.



Too bad for me, I was one of the naive ones that went for the visitors to win. 

If we will beat Inter and at least not will lose against Real, yeah, everyone will forget Barca performance against Celta. 3 points is only positive thing from this game. They can use injuries as excuse, but even without many players Barca at simply can't let Celta to dominate whole 2nd half.
@Harkorede, I agree that's not Lewandowski fault only that he was invisible, it's rather consequence how Barca played. Like against Bayern, they made so many crosses from wings like we would have not Lewandowski but Peter Crouch in attack.

Back to predictor, I can't beleive how much I'm struggling in La Liga pool and how good I'm doing in Serie A, what should be opposite. Fortunately Elche - Mallorca game ended 1:1 as I predicted and it let me to go by 3 places on the table.

I see lots of comments on how poor Barca was yesterday, but who cares, in few weeks time nobody would remember and points are there to stay
Celta really should have scored a couple against Barca in second half. But as somebody said it already, Barca was good in parts of the games in Champions League and got nothing for effort as well.

Can't wait for Clasico now, we should get a good one this year.

I do not think that Sevilla is worth playing in CL, Dortmund struck a late equalizer against Bayern, but they were good enough to beat Sevilla on any day
Sevilla could not worked out clean sheet against Bilbao, after taking an early lead, and that is a real disappointing performance, IMO, last year Sevilla would done it easily

nevertheless, Sevilla is still most serious candidate for top4, and any point lost is good for Valencia, if we end up fighting for 4th place

As much as I like to get points, I do agree, this time we didn't deserve to win, and I can say this because I felt we did play better in Champions League and yet didn't take any points. Now we have to win the next game before El Clasico... everything suddenly becomes must win. We did so well in the last one, but we have a lot of wins to record to improve our record in past years.


Well, I believed too and put money on it. Wasted taking a nice Valencia win in the end, took the lead but didn't win. Now they are also tempting me as their next match is in Champions League but away playing for revenge against Dortmund. Do you guys think this is it for Sampaoli?

I strong agree with your opinion about about how terrible the performance was from Barcelona, Celta Vigo really deserve at the very least a point from the game, I wouldn't blame Lewandoski from being absent from the match really, I think it's pretty much about how Xavi sets up the team to play, Lewandowski was isolated in the game because the attack really barely had him involve the playing setup, I'd give kudos to Celta defense for that, Lewandwoski is very much effecttive when he's invlove in the play, rather than just the players on the flank trying to find in with cross or cutbacks, Xavi played the game entirely on wide areas, and even one of the commentators mentioned it that Xavi was found instructing Raphinha to stick very close to the flank as many as 6 times within the space of the opening 15 minutes, meanwhile both players on the flank Ferran Torres wasn't up to par, while Raphinha seem to be somewhat off too, since he didn't get chance to play really close to Lewandowski, that's why Gavi and Pedri and Ter Stegen are my best Barcelona for the night, Gavi was literally every where on the pitch from tackles to making very decisive passes, and Pedri was an absolute class today. I'm not so worried about Lewandowski not getting the enough scoring opportunities, but I'm sure where they arrive, he'll definitely be ready for it.

Lewa was invisible like against Inter. Our recent performance in few last games is really concerning before crucial game with Inter and El Clasico next week.

I did, yes, because I was dumb to trust one team I do not trust. Seems like half of my bets these days are against teams I don't trust.

Home draw and full of cards. I keep forgetting that card bets are the way to go it seems in La Liga this time, so if I win my big Barca bet tonight, then I'm going to try multibets with that selection of cards plus goals as I can't get any picks right.

Yeah i skipped it. My bet slip was full of esports yesterday, kinda regret not taking that that double tbh, i was sure both teams would win in this matchweek but i rarely place more than x amount of tickets per day and i saw your tip way too late :/

As I said, nice for betting, but not sure about picks. Should have gone with casper and picked Valencia win, but I already swore not to trust them this season after letting me down constantly... the problem is always to see them win like this when you expect them to lose.

But totally agree Sevilla have amazing odds AT HOME.

not betting on my Valencia, simply avoiding it, interesting to watch even without money on stake

but, it was a good game, and bring back hope that we can get into European competition next season, maybe even CL, since that fourth spot is open due to Sevilla form, and all other teams are similar strength
