So far this season we've given away four (4) Southampton shirts in my Exclusive Prediction Contests.
It literally makes no difference to me who wins; but the odds of winning a Southampton shirt increase if you participate in said Exclusive Prediction Contests.  Wink

@Trofo  I'm aware that I need to fight against the other 55 people in the pool to win this shirt. But I'm not scared. I can do this!!

Finally the official Euro 2024 qualifiers will be out of the way soon, the odds in such competition of many teams at 1.03 to 1.10 shows that this time UEFA has screwed up the vases for the group stages as the big differences of teams can be felt.Sure some surprise results have happened there but that is not enough to justify the action and the emotions of such qualifiers.

Now is good to be back on Premier League action once again this weekend which most likely we should start winning some money here,in Euro qualifiers it was very difficult to do so,I think in the Premier League we will have more chances to win our bets, also why is 3 mBtc as a free bet,as far as I know it has been always 2 mBtc,not that I am complaining the more the better but why this week it is more?

People who win a yellow cap are winning a 3mbtc free bet this season. I'm quoting jeremypwr's post below for you to examine the details of the sponsorship deal again.

Hey guys,

With the English Premier League set to kick-off on August 12, we wanted to give everyone the chance to get excited for what should be another fun and competitive season  Cool

Sponsorship
*  Sportsbet.io has agreed to continue the tradition with a generous 200 mBTC sponsorship   (Big thanks to Steve)
*  If we get our usual 50-60+ entrants, that brings the total pot to 325-350 mBTC+
*  The entry fee will be 2.5 mBTC and I'll leave the pot breakdown for hilariousandco to decide

Free Bets
*  There are 38 weeks in the season with the Yellow Cap winner(s) receiving a 3 mBTC Free Bet each week
*  In addition, there will be Exclusive Prediction Contests for paid entrants throughout the season; so plenty of opportunities to win additional Free Bets

Let's try to break last season's record of 61 paid entrants and get an even bigger pot  Smiley

as soon as I see that it will be a shirt for yellow cap winner, I know that my round will suck bad
and Everton playing home against Arsenal won't help this week being better, can't really expect another 1:0 win like last season on Dyche debut

nevertheless, will try my best to push luck my side this round

Good luck mate, don't give up yet. International matches are always tough to pick.   Tongue

I'd rather wait Euro Cup or World Cup if I want to bet on international games Embarrassed My biggest disappointment is going to Colombia and Czech

Apparently I was just wasting my 2mbtc freebets lol.

Sweet, now I am even more excited to do a better performance after I was doing aweful on the previous match days. Currently 48/56 in the table, uff.  Cheesy

Literally didn't win any single bet on international matches during last week lol, and the matches themselves weren't that fun to watch. It's great to see PL back! Good luck guys

I have read a few news like Pep can take over England national team job after leaving Manchester City. Is there a grain of truth in these news?

Premier League is back!
The winner(s) of the Round 5 Yellow Cap will also win a:

After the national break I have missed the Premier League very much. This season the yellow cap winner in the PL pool is already winning 3mbtc free bet. It is great to have a chance to win a great shirt as well. I'm feeling that I will win the white Southampton shirt.

No way, I am not letting that white Southampton shirt without a fight. It is also about time for me to get some more merch from Sportsbet. Watford jersey is falling apart and I have to stop using it and I can't use Arsenal ones for every single match I play  Grin

More importantly, international break is over and PL is back, I feel lost without it.

I think the last time I won anything from sportbets was from your MM or so, and it's been a long time. Southampton jerseys are usually lovely, and I hope to win this one. I've come close in the past, and I hope to get it right this time.

Back to the EPL - I won't lie, I didn't see more than three matches during the international break because the fixtures were dreadful. I'm simply pleased about the return of club football; I'm not excited about my club returning to spoil my weekends.

And I don't see anything outstanding in his track record. He only gave results that corresponded to the level of the team (by the way, not always, like with Bayern, for example), but in order to become a legend (and not just a statistical record on Wikipedia), you need to jump above your head.
People tend to ignore consistency like that is what is expected from bug teams, but not all top coaches achieve that and none have done it at the level that Guardiola has done, while introducing a beautiful style of play that other clubs struggle to compete against.

Greatness is expected from Barcelona, but since Pep left they have fallen short of that far too many times. Manchester City were nothing close to the unplayable team they are today and that is due to the genius of Pep Guardiola.

How do you propose Pep can jump above his head?

The Spanish national team also ceased to be that fury when the golden generation left (which, by the way, was brought together in Barcelona not by Guardiola but by Rijkaard). What do you think about the failure with Bayern? The one that Jupe Heikens put together and that won the Champions League, and then was beaten by Spanish teams three times in a row (when the coach was Guardiola). City were champions of England before Guardiola and will be after, nothing interesting. The Champions League after so many attempts and with the acquisition of Haaland also looks weak.

I also think that what Manchester City has achieved is in big part (70%) for me Guardiola merit.Another big merit is the group management who is managing Manchester City as they have given Guardiola more than enough time to implement his style of play into this team and on top of that they have usually complied with what Guardiola have asked them regarding players to buy and to sell,so it is this duo that has brought Manchester City this far and I doubt they will stop anytime soon, these people I am sure are hungry for more.

I really would like to see Pep managing a team with financial limits, though. Say, like Spurs?

given his outstanding managerial record, I doubt that he is going to sacrifice his career on managing a budget limited team. Well I believe that there is a limit to what a coach can do but its Pep though and Spurs is a pretty decent team so probably he could pull it off somehow but all the other teams like Liverpool and Arsenal might stand in his way to win with Spurs

Guardiola was lucky to start from the top team and never even try the average level. I don't think we will ever see him in a regular team, rather he will retire. Given his record I doubt he will ever have to make the choice of taking the job at a budget limited team, except he is considering an emotional return to Barcelona at the moment. He is the top rated coach and if he decides to leave City will get offers from many top teams.

And the fact they did that after losing not only many players every season, but even manager... makes you wonder if managers really are the answer. Maybe its simply club training as a whole or recruitment policy?
The system of the club determines the type of players they acquire and ultimately the type of coaches as well. They make the right acquisitions and focus on talent and compatibility to the team and style of play.

I'm not really sure he would do well in our current Barca though, unless he doesn't mind taking over young squad and building from there with much more financial restrictions than before. Our future direction is also not clear. We sent out Ansu Fati which then again City also does from time to time.

But yes, systems of clubs feel more important in modern football not so much manager anymore I feel.

Tottenham spent €248.60m on new players this summer, but the media hasn't made much of it because Tottenham isn't the type of side to spend €100 million on a single player; instead, they'd rather spend that money on four players. The club's financial situation is not bad, and with the number of quality players on the team, Pep will transform the team into a regular top four club capable of competing for league cups.

I'm currently sitting at 35th position after 4 games - I didn't touch down this low through out last season. Lol

Plenty of time left to make it even lower lol I've been there I can tell you for sure Wink

I'm bumping up after the international break trust me- I'm not used to this level.

Now we have to pray for someone beat City so we don't get another booooring season.

Brighton is the only club that could cause Manchester City problems this season; they are the only complete team after Man City that knows how to attack and take chances. It's shocking how Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea couldn't find a way to compete with this City team. It's only four games, and Manchester United and Chelsea, who are expected to fight for the title, are already 6 and 8 points behind City. The gap in team quality between City and other clubs is simply too big; only Arsenal comes close.
